Shell- Thanks for the tips :)
Det- So good to hear how well Boof is doing and that you got an early night (well in your standards early) LOL! I might try the jolly jumper as we had such a shocking night last night, I could tell DD was having major tummy pains. SHe was so upset and reefing her body around.
I did the pears things and then the last 2 days I have just kept her on BM and no solids. She was awake between 12 and 3am last night. I should have popped on here. I got DP to do bicycle legs and squats with her and we got some wind out but only the smallest smear of poo on the nappy this morning. Will put her in the jumper and see how that goes.
Well we are supposed to e having a dads fay picnic for mothers group today but the weather is looking pretty crap in Syd today.
Hope you girls have a good day xo
-
Oh Ali, how awful! I so hope she does a nice big one today! L was like that for MONTHS. He had such trouble and pain with wind and poo so I really sympathise.
Gymbaroo sounds great. I'll ask the other mum's in my MG and might organise a session we can all go. Oh and I'm just like you re TTC/DTD! We just can't afford another bub so soon but don't want more than 3 years between them, 4 max. I just reeeeally don't want to go back on the pill. Might have to make DP be in charge of birth control then :p Now that we are back in the same room he is always wanting to dtd  I am so paranoid about it!!
Det, wow at Boof's eating! Let us know how swimming goes. I'm looking into it for this spring/summer too. L is using a cortisone based cream too. We've tried Dermaid but now we are using "Advantin". He also uses Dermeze (sp?) in the bath which is a waxy oily substance made from parafin oil. I am all for natural stuff so I'm not too happy about what he's using but at this stage it is whatever works! We also have got Moogoo MSM soothing lotion, scalp cream & the eczema/psoriosis cream but it doesn't seem to have any effect unfortunately :( I think for L's skin they are more of a preventative/basic moisturiser but once he's got the full blown red scaly raised patches he needs the medicated stuff. Hope Boof's skin improves soon!
AJP, glad M is feeling better! When do you think you will try solids again?
Shell, good to hear that E is sleeping better. Arghh I remember that game against port too. I was sooo livid lol. Ah well better luck this year! I reckon DP & I are pretty fertile too. Within a week or so of coming off the pill I got UTD and we only DTD once so I actually remember the time L was conceived!!
Hi to everyone else!!
AFM, nothing much happening. Not sure what to do for Father's Day! If it's a nice day we might go down to St Kilda for lunch and a nice walk along the beach. I was also thinking of getting him a keyring with L's photo because he is always in the car...not sure what else :dunno:
Anyway, I'll check in again soon. Have a great weekend everyone xox
-
Hi All! Need to be quick as we had a bad night last night. Miss J crying and grizzling all night so she slept with me. Woke this morning and her temp was 39.1 :( Gave her some Dymadon and she ate breakfast. Threw up most of her morning BF. However now her temp is down she seems a bit happier. Poor little poppet - got to put her down for a nap. Will be back later.
-
Nai- How is Miss J? Has her temp settled? Hope it was a short virus and nothing else.
Holly- Yeah been thinking bout fathers day too, I bought Df nose hair trimmer, lol, not sure what else. Maybe a photo on stubby holder seeing as he loves his beer!
Ali- How is things on the poo front? Any more action? Is she upset by it does she seem unhappy and straining?
Ash has a birthday party to go to today, interrupting my footy watching, lol.
No sleep last night, both girls were alternating waking up so I'd just be drifting off to sleep and get woken again, so bit grumpy mummy this morning.
-
Damn it!! Just lost a big catch up post :( Now I'm cranky and can't remember what I wrote!!
Nai- Hope little J is feeling better!
Ali- I hope there's some pooping going on at your house!! pmsl.
Not much happening here. Sleep was really bad last night after a good start! Let us put her down first try but then woke up HEAPS! I think she had an upset tummy or something. She had some serious gas, lol, then this morning has a serious poo-splosion!
-
Heaven thats been out prob, Emily keeps making these horrible straining noises like she is trying to push out a bus but she is definately not constipated cause she does 2-3 poos/ day and last night was an explosion after all that starining, I been wondering too if she's got bit tummy ache.
-
Nai- How scary  Hope she is okay now. Let us know when you can.
Holly- Your fathers day plans sound lovely. WE plan to do a similar thing. I have got DP from Ash a photo frame that says Dad (and put a pic of DP, DD and the dogs in it), a book about Why I love my Daddy & she is going to wear a tshirt that I bought for her that says Daddy's little girl. Think thats all I will get him as we are a bit on the broke side after some fines we had to pay.
Shell- I dont know how you function with two waking up. Its hard enough with one and then the dogs if they decide they want to go out in the middle of the night! You are superwoman!
Heaven- I think the tummy pains are waking them up alot. Glad she got her poop out!
WE got some more poop out today! Woo hoo!!! All she has eatren for the last 4 days is puree pears and Breast milk so I thought that would get it going and we tried the prune juice, she had a bit but boy did she turn her nose up to it. Glad I only bought a small bottle of it as its not cheap!
Had a grerat day yesterday. My mothers group organised a day at teh pub with our baabies and the dads so all the dads could meet and it went so well. Next is a girls night out! Daddys have to babysit!
My last day of mat leave as work tomorrow.
-
Yay on the poo Ali!!
Shell - I hear you on the lack of sleep :(
Heaven - Miss J sometimes wakes up during the night, grunts a bit and does some farting then goes back to sleep. It must hurt their little tummys.
Miss J is ok although the last 2 nights she has co-slept and fed all night so I haven't slept at all. I think she might be getting her top teeth but I can't be sure. She cries if I try to look! Her temp has been up at night and in the mornings but during the day she is ok :dunno: She is also having a big developmental leap as she can now sit by herself for over half and hour (she only starting sitting last week!!) and she is saying "mum mum", "bub bub" and "baaa" (bath) - all in the last few days. Maybe it's her 26 week wonder week?
-
Nai- That weird, Hopefully she settles soon, its so hard isn't it lack sleep and chasing a toddler all day.
Ali- You doing 2 or 3 days? Have you sorted childcare now I know you were having troubles with days and things. Good luck, I remember first returning to work after having Ash and I cried on the drive to work then I got to work and someone asked who was looking after Ash so that made me burst into tears again! But it gets easier and the extra money is also an incentive. I'm due back end Jan but may return earlier we will see.
-
Nai- Sounds like more teeth for Miss J. We dont have any yet but I got bitten hard when feeding tonight. Ouch!
Shell- Dp's mum is going to look after DD. SHe has chnaged all her work days twice now to make it possible which is lovely but not necessary if work didnt stuff me around. I'm working Mondays and Tuesdays.
I really dont want to go :( I wonder what they would say if I went back for one week and then told them I am not coming back until next year. LOL!
I am feeling quite sad tonight.
How do you all get by on one income?
-
Thats great you have MIL to look after her, will make you feel better to with her going to someone you know. We're just getting by on the one wage so we don't really get to spend on extras. Our mortgage is close to half of DFs wage so with me at work makes things alot easier.
-
Oh Ali, I hope you have a good day back at work today!! Apart from missing DD that is, I hope you're made to feel very welcomed back :)
FWIW, we are finding it pretty hard on just one income and DP is an apprentice too. We are very lucky that we're living with my mum but we still pay board and for food & spilt all the bills and stuff but it's a lot cheaper than renting that's for sure. I'm meant to be going back to work 2 days in November but I think I'll extend my mat leave until February because I haven't worked out L's care arrangements (I'd probably have to pay someone) and I won't have dropped bfing yet either so going back to work will be a real pita than a benefit at that stage.
Oh and your fathers day plans sound really nice, he will love it!
Nai, woohoo on the new words and sitting!! How was she last night? I don't know what's been up with L either. The last two nights have been SHOCKING and we co sleep anyway! When DP has left for work around 3am-ish, L is up and wriggling/grizzling and refusing boobie...he doesn't settle at all after that so it's just hours of wriggling and grizzling until I finally get up when it's light. I just don't know what he wants and it's so frustrating. I'm exhausted. I hope it doesn't continue :wall:
Shell, lol at the nose trimmer. A stubbie holder is a great idea! DP loves his drinks too
Heaven, how is G today? Was she better overnight? Maybe it is a growth spurt type thing seeing as there's a few of them being unsettled at the moment :dunno:
AFM, well besides L being really annoying overnight lol nothing else much to report... oh but I leaked last night! Weird, I haven't leaked for months and my bbs weren't particularly full either...
I have 2 assignments due this week so better get moving. Have a good day all xox
-
 Good luck today Ali!! I hope everything goes well. It's really hard the first few weeks so be prepared to feel sad and hormonal. It does get easier though! With both pregnancies I saved like crazy and put a lot of money away in a high interest account so that I could take 12 months off and the savings would cover our mortgage. That's the only way we could survive.
Miss J was good last night and slept from 7pm to 6am straight so I feel a bit better now. Not sure what was up with her. If it is her teeth I hope they come through soon - she seemed so distressed :(
-
please tell me i'm not the only one getting no sleep whatsoever!!
i don't know what's going on, but jimmy has been up constantly the last 4 nights and i am completely exhausted. wonder week? idk, but it better end soon!
ali- good luck at work. it's hard on one wage. we're still getting the baby bonus so that helps with the mortgage. i hate not having any money to spend on myself ever though.
holly- good luck with your assignments
hi to everyone else and your bubs :)
-
ali hun thinking of you this morning  i hope your day goes ok.
nai glad J seems to be better and sleeping well again!!
holly sounds like you have a wiggleworm there!! maybe you were sleeping on your tummy and the pressure made you leak :dunno:
shell do you mainly work weekends?
ginger hugs chicken  hasnt J got some teeth?? may explain the waking.
ARM us girls are all sick, DH had a cold last week and we copped it oover the weekend, sophie seems ok today (though she can have dimetapp) im snotting/blocked/head going to explode blahhhhh! millie has a runny nose and eyes-first cold for her! she woke screaming at 9pm last night then slept til 5am then til 8am, so not too bad.
ali we survive, have done for almost 3 years now, its harder, but somehow you just do! we did make sure my car was paid off before sophie was born, we dont have credit cards-just debit mastercards, not debt except the mortgage, were also well ahead with bills, so there all in credit and we pay the same amount on each bill every month which makes life easier also means if something ever came up we could easily go a few months and not need to pay any bills except the mortgage. DH is on a good-ish wage we also get a car allowence which means we pay nothing for his car, no petrol, insureance, rego etc which helps as well, we get a new car every 3-4 years and if we spend under a certain amount if doesnt cost us out of his wage, the allowence pays for it
-
Hi all,
Just popping in to say hi, I'm still here!!
Went away on a girls weekeend with my sisters and cousins and of course L...
Hugs to those with no sleep L too has been up ALL night feeding over the weekend....just wanted to be fed and cuddled, last night was a bit better but not great, he got his second tooth thought so maybe it's all a combination of things..
Ali- Hopw work was ok...and you had lovely cuddle with DD when you got home.
Ajp- hope you guys are feeling better soon.
Nai- Wow does sound like lots is happening what a clever girl..
Sorry I can't seemt o read back when I reply atm???? so Hi to everyone else
Has anyone still got the bubs in the room with them to sleep??? Or am I the only silly one?
-
apart from the lack of sleep pinny i hope you had a great weekend!
millie has never slept in our room! so im no help!
-
Hope the weekend away was good Pinny! We have Miss J in our room with us still. She is currently in the portacot next to our bed as she has outgrown the cradle. I was hoping that I could move her into the same room as DD1 but as she isn't sleeping through consistently yet I am not going to risk it. We will probably keep her in there for another couple of months.
-
jimmy's still in our room, probably will be for a while longer the way he's sleeping LOL
ajp- hope you all start feeling better soon. j has got 2 bottom teeth.
pinny-glad to hear i'm not the only one up all night.
nai-i want to eventually put my 2 boys in the same room too. have no idea when it will work though.
holly-posted the book this morning :)
-
Thanks girls :grouphug:
I am not going to lie. Today was really hard. Emotionally and physically. I def felt the mummy guilts but I knew she was being well looked after. I was extremely busy today and kind of felt like I was massively thrown in the deep end (we had grandparents day at school today and I have an excursion to go on tomorrow) and it all feels like a massive whirlwind. Everyone was lovely and very supportive, offering me help, etc but I just missed my baby girl so much.
I was greeted ont he front verandah when I got home and we had beautful cuddles and I fed her both sides. She only had 80mLs out of her bottle between 7:30 and 3:30!!! But she also had a jar of pureed fruit so at least thats something. SHe fed off both VERY full sides when I got home then fell asleep in my arms. Bless. :)
ANother day tomorrow and then its over for the week. In a way I guess Mon and Tues are good that I get it over and done with for the day!
She's awake, BBL if I get all my homework done!!! I cant belive I have stuff to do on the computer tonight!! Arrrrh!
-
awww ali  i agree with getting it over and done with in two straight days
-
Ali- I can sympathise with you 100%, I went back to work when DD was 6 months old two days a week too!! The guilts are bad, but you have to focus on the positives, just like you are doing...I kept telling myself that she was with people that loved her and that it was only for two days so out of 14 days ( 2 weeks) she was with me for 10days and so not bad 10 out of 14 days!!! Does that make sense?? feel like I'm rambling...All the best for tomorrow... then your off!!
How you feeling Jols?? Getting any better?
-
Ali- It sucks doesn't it but I promise it does get easier and you start to enjoy that extra money coming in.
Pinny- Em is still in my room and Df still sleeps in what will evntually be her room! It just has worked well for us that way. I get to stay in bed to settle her and tbh Df snores and tosses and turns so much I prolly get more sleep with Em!
AJP- Yeah I work 2 days week Thurs and then either a sat sun. So not too bad, plus weekend is time and half so end of the fortnight I end up getting 5 days worth pay for working 4.
Holly- I always think about returning to school to do something new but hearing about assignments sends shivers down my spine! Lol.
Em being bit grumble bum today I wonder if teething cause she is really gnawing on things more than usual. Can't feel anything tho. She is soo trying to crawl too and gets really frustrated when she isn't moving.
-
Ginger (I like your new name!), thanks for that! Looking forward to the post today lol.
Ali  don't worry, Ash will be loving her time with Grandma. And I agree, it will be so good having the extra money coming in too. If I had someone to mind L for free, I'd probably go back to work sooner too, but I don't! It's great that the two days are consecutive so you have the rest of the week to look forward to :)
Nai, how was J last night? Glad to hear she slept well the night before.
AJP, yeah I think I was sleeping on my tummy that's why I leaked! We have all had colds here too. I'm still pretty congested and snotty, just seems to be lingering! Hope you all recover soon.
Pinny, sounds like a great weekend! And no you are not silly - I am still co sleeping with L! It doesn't bother me as much anymore. Why should I stress out and be frustrated, not to mention spend so much time and sleepless nights trying to get him to sleep in his cot in another room?!??! It's so not worth it and I know he's not going to be still in our bed in 10 years time, but right now is just not the right time for us! I don't have any plans to move him as yet, so just taking each night as it comes :p
Shell, I wish I could just study and do the assignments at my own leisure instead of having deadlines! How is E today? How cute that she's trying to crawl!
AFM, L was so funny yesterday. My mum was holding him and was on the phone at the same time and L kept trying to reach up and grab it. So my mum gave him the phone and he put it to his ear and was trying to talk!!!! It was sooo cute and funny, I've never heard him babble so much at once. Clearly he knows what the phone is all about LOL
On a crappier note, last night was the pits  He was so restless - grizzled and squirmed most of the night. I can't believe that I am even functioning today! I really hope this is short-lived. The last 3 nights have been terrible.
Oooh he's awake xox
-
Hey girls
I've been awol again, so sorry!
Had another hen's extravaganza on the weekend and yet again DD slept like an angel for DH - down by 7pm, woke at midnight for a feed, another short feed at 5am and thru til 9am :o
I was like what the? Why can't she do that for me??? But part of me thinks she did stir during those times but DH just didn't wake - he is a v. heavy sleeper!
Anyway I had a great time but got sick, now fighting off a cold, ew. And DD has picked it up too... poor possum. Just wanted to say hi quickly, she's been asleep and I should have posted as soon as she went to sleep, but I started hunting for icons in the great cloth nappy hunt! And now she wakes!
Big hugs to Ali... thinking of you today! Its almost over
-
Where is everyone today??
-
I'm here!
Emily is a cranky bum she spends more of her awake time grizzling than happy!
OP- ikwym, last sat I went out for lunch, came home just as Em was waking apparantly she'd slept for just over 2 hours, she never does that for me!
hOLLY- Any improvements with L? hope you're getting some rest! How cute with the phone, would've been so funny to see. You excited bout game sunday? We have to beat bloody Collingwood or I'll never hear the end of it from my dad.
-
Hi Shell- I hope E has a better day tomorrow... L is ok but both my kids have a cough atm....so not having the best sleeps!!
-
we've had mild colds here, millie slept for about 5 hrs yesterday :o didnt repeat today though!!
OP hope isabel gets better soon!
-
millies alarm on her monitor pad went off twice last night, not the full alarm but it peeped twice, it hasnt done that since she was a newborn, was a little scary
-
AJP-OMG!! That would of really freaked you out??
She must of been in a deep sleep!!! Have you checked the pads are still in the right spot?
-
Jols that would have freaked me out!! Hope the colds are getting better
OP- hope Miss I gets better soon as well. It is so hard when they are sick. I am paranoid about me bringing germs home now I am at school with the kids who pick their noses and cough and breath on me! Ewwww!
Shell- DD has grizzly days sometimes and I just dont know what to so to please her!
Pinny- Hope your 2 get better soon as well. SO many colds and coughs about!
:hello: to everyone else. Cant see back any further.
We actually had a really decent nights sleep last night. DD slept in her own room from 7pm until 4:30am and then I fed her and then she slept again until 8am and then went back to sleep again at 9am. Waking her soon for mothers group though.
With the whole working thing. I am actually earning less money than what I was when I was on mat leave. :(
I ws getting paid half pay and the baby bonus so was earning almost my normal salary. Now though the baby bonus is about the finish and I am working less than half a week so I am actually about $500 worse off and that is with working 2 days a week, so no extra money coming in. Going to have to rely on DP massively now as my salary is only enough to pay the rent and put petrol in my car. With nothing left over. :(
-
Hi girls,
Sounds like everyone (nearly) is having trouble with sleeping, grumble-bums and colds?????
To those who are sick with sick bubbas, I hope you're all feeling better soon.
Nai - Any more teeth yet for Miss J?
Holly - LOL about leaking! I leaked too a couple of weeks ago and haven't done that since J was about a month old!!
Pinny - A girls weekend away sounds so good! Wonder if I'll ever get to do that again?
Meg - How are you going darl? Been thinking of you heaps. How is Js behaviour? Sending you a big
Ali - that sucks that you are worse off now back at work! I am also on half pay for this 12 months of leave (using lots of excess holidays on top of paid mat leave). Plan to return part time but will have to put J in care so I'll be paying for that. Plus, when we have No.2 I hope to take a similar amount of time off at half pay but that means I'll have to go back to work full time for at least 6 months before can claim half pay (otherwise will get half of half pay so a quarter of normal wage itms? They do it on your wage for the previous 6 months). So that means I'll likely have to put J in care full time and work full time while pg AGAIN! Not looking forward to that at all. We're ok $ wise at this stage but next year we hope to be building a house and servicing two mortgages and my heartrate goes through the roof when I think about how we'll manage. Like AJP, DP's car is covered by his work and we don't owe money on our other car. It's hard. Feels like I'll have to choose between time at home with my babies or money to pay for the house for a better lifestyle down the track but they're only young once!
AFM - Rough few nights here too. Must be something in the air, although J is 26 weeks next Wed so it might be his wonder week. Grumbly, not sleeping for long periods, even over night, seems to be feeding more often but for shorter periods. Doesn't seem to be teeth this time. Who knows? It's raining here but I'm getting out today. I've been walking the past few afternoons (started when he wouldn't stop grumbling) and I feel much better for it! Now just have to stop eating junk EVERYDAY! Speak of the devil, he just woke up!
-
Oh Ali, that really sucks. I know how it feels to have to be so motivated by money... my mat pay disappeared as soon as we got it to pay for some of DH's work expenses and the baby bonus has run out for us too... so now I'm officially earning zero. The only reason I will go back to work is for money. Sigh...
So hard living on one income, I think I will be back at work soon. DH keeps saying how its so we can build our dream house, take the kids on awesome holidays to places like America, etc etc... but DD changes so much so quickly at this age, I am so reluctant to go back and miss anything. You just have to find the balance that works for you guys.
Like Kaz I want to go back part time, but when we fall pg again we'll also only get half pay of part time unless I go back full time... decisions, decisions.
Kaz - we've had a few rough nights too. Last night I felt like I had a newborn on my hands again, she fed at 6.30pm and was down by 7pm but took ages to settle, then was awake again and grizzling, fed her at 9pm and ended up holding her til she fell asleep at about 10pm, she woke every hour then til 2am when I fed her again, slept til 5am and then awake another feed at 6am, then grizzled til 7.45am, then slept til 9am.
Doesn't help me to feel any better that I'm getting zero sleep!
Jols what does the alarm mean???
Holly - DD does that when I sit at the computer, she reaches out for it and yesterday rubbed the tracker pad and made the pointer move. So cute! Clearly I spend too much time with her on the computer and you with L on the phone ;)
Shell - any teeth yet? Isabel has been gnawing on things heaps too but no sign of teeth yet...
Hi to everyone else!!! MIL is here today with DD so I can get some work done for DH's business... better get on to it!
-
kaz i actually took the girls to the park today :hide: second time in 6.5 months! its lovely here today!!
OP hope missy sleeps welll today (she probably will cos MIL is there)
the alarm means she hasnt breathed for i think its 20 seconds, or the pad hasnt detected any movement (breathing) in a period of time, the alarm rings if it happens again within about 10 seconds of the first beep hope that makes sense!
i didnt get any mat leave with sophie! jsut the baby bonus but we saved that. we just get the FTB a and b. which isnt much!!
i want to study then return to the workforce so that will be some years off!!
-
take two with the solids today, will see what tonight holds sleep wise!
-
Hi Everyone - sorry I have been MIA again. Miss J is also a cranky pants! Kaz, I can't see any more teeth yet but her top gums look swollen and sore :( She was awake just about every hour last night.
Ali - the whole money thing is so tough. We live on a very tight budget and I control it with an iron fist. I am very tight but it means we can live within our means.
Sorry - have to run and doe some work - blah!
-
The thing I miss about working and money is atm I feel so guilty when I spend money. I hate not being able to buy something I want cause I'm thinking I don't really need it but would like it. I'd love to get my hair cut and colored but can't justify spending the money.
AJP- Thats bit scary bout the beeps, could it b e the way she lies that doesn't detect? Hope the night goes well post solids. When do you think you'll go into study? I'm planning to go back one day but will prolly wait til the girls start school.
OP- Nope still nos sign teeth but really gnawing on everything, rusks have come in handy she quite likes them. It is hard finding work balance, I found 2 days good cause still spending heaps time at home, have that money coming in for all the stuff you mentioned and I also found it quite enjoyable to actual do something else besides being a mother 24/7, was like bit of a break to have adult conversation.
Kaz- Yeah I do the walking thing to get peace! As soon as I start she is content and Ash loves walks to so gives us all a break to get out of the house.
Ali- That sucks I been used to getting baby bonus and Df has just told me we only have 2 pays left to go. FTB doesn't pay much. Will you stick with the 2 days or increase to 3 next year?
I'm thinking its getting near time to give up night feed, last 2 nights she only drank 100mls whereas before that she would gulp down the whole thing. She's on 2 solids a day and decent sized I'd say. I'm just too tired at the moment to battle with her if she cracks it easier to just give.
-
Hey girls!
still here just been MIA- damm paper work
had 3 hours sleep in 2 days- WHOOT!
and topped with me busting my chops as DH still has glandular fever bad- i am a wee bit tired- even by my standards!
Boof is awesome as usual- still only sleep 30 mins x 2 a day but he is settling a lot earlier at nite so i can at least get a bit done before midnite now. He was a little grumpy today- which was soo little by most kids standards- so i reckon the teeth MUST be coming through !!!!
Mind you having no teeth hasnt stopped him eating roast beef and roasted vegies for dinner last nite hehe!
He still wakes for a feed overnite a least once- even though he is on 3 meals a day- but so did my twins as well. Although the type of food and amount that boof eats- my twins were eating at around 18 months - they were hard work with solids- so boof is a breeze!
We started swimming lessons on wednesday- he spent the whole time laughing and charming the girl babies in his class (sorry Isabel) He loved it! Thought for sure he would sleep afterwards and he did- for a whole 30 mins! STILL! Ah well he is happy when he is awake- just dont get a break . But i wouldnt swap it for quids!!
It is hard when you go down to 1 income. It is almost a right of passage to be so broke when you have a baby- but i promise it does get easier. I dont know if you get more resourceful or you get used to living on the poverty line - but it does!
BTW girls it does pay to have 3 kids!!! I got an extra $80 per f/n from the g'ment for having boof and a 'large family' bonus of $10 f/n as well. So boof well and truly pays his own keep lol. We worked out how much I would have to earn to break even if i went back to work f/time compared to what the g/ment pays me - and it isnt worth it! We have never had steady income until i stayed at home and worked for Mr Rudd lol.
We also borrowed a fair bit extra against out homeloan to get big things done- knowing very well that we will pay it back eventually when Mr Rudd wont pay me anymore - which will be when boof is 7 years old!!!
Hugs those girls having sleep issues- remember girls 'its a phase!!!'
OP- hope you are feeling better soon- missed you this week!!

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been slack, just don't have the energy to catch up on everything atm. Sleep is still ****! About to update my other thread.
DD is really getting into her solids now and actually eating a lot! I was actually expecting her not to eat much for a while doing BLS but she's a little piggy. Posted a video of her doing BLS on FB the other day.
I am reading everything in here! Just not posting much!
