Blip: No idea what happened. I'm in shock by the news. I can't believe it.
Are you using a nipple shield too? I am, which is good (Oliver can actually attach), but bad (he always knocks it off and I spill milk everywhere). Try not to worry about Darren- you're a fantastic mummy and will always do what's best - don't let the 'professionals' try and tell you otherwise.
Oliver had his first check-up today and he's doing really well. He has put on 245g on his birth weight, 185g of which he put on in the last week. He's also grown about 3cm in length. He's a very healthy, happy little baby. He did not like being weighed and measured though - he squawked the entire time! We've had such a good run with Oliver - we've been very lucky.
I hope all you new mummies are doing well.
