Ben is still doing well. He is growing very strong! He loves to be tickled, he is such a happy little boy, sooo cute.
As for me. Last week i found out i have Gallstones and need an operation very soon. Do you guys remember a few months back i was rushed to hospital because i woke up with pains in my stomach and back and had trouble breathing? Well, they didnt find what was wrong then, but we know now!
Last Saturday (my birthday), i started getting pains in my stomach and back when we were out bowling with some friends. I had just eaten pizza a couple of hours before. Anyway, that night the pain was so bad, i couldnt sleep until we called the emergency doctor at 4.30am, she gave me a shot and suggested i might have gallstones. So i went to the doc again in the morning, and had an ultrasound, and they found i had 4 gallstones and need an operation. I had been having heartburn type pain for quite a long time at night. And i didnt really question it until i noticed the pain was getting worse, and the heartburn tablets didnt work. Now i have to watch really carefully what i eat until we can find a time to get it done.
Ben is now on formula, apart from one feed. Dh and I are still talking about solids often, but i told Dh i want to wait until Ben can sit up by himself. Dont know why i suggested that. Ah, who knows. Ben doesnt really seem ready to me. I suppose i might be rebelling (sp?) against MIL's opinion that Ben was ready at 2 months (right...hmm).
