Lil, DH has the same allergy your DH does to nuts (slightly less severe, but only slightly), plus DS already has mild eczema and hay fever, which was why I wanted to wait too. IKWYM about grabbing the spoon and shoving it in! It's so cute, but as I had to use a teaspoon last night I was worried about choking; we now have baby spoons.
