Kirsten do you use flat nappies or fitted nappies? I have been using flat nappies (they look SOOOO cute) and am heaps confused about soaking or not soaking and sterilizing ect.,.... help?????

engagement party went great, Jemima slept the whole time no worries. Tried to go to the movies tonight (got free tickets so thought why not) but Jemima could obviously tell it was a crap movie and benji didnt get to see the first 20 mins and then we watched it for about 15 mins together then i went to feed her and then Benji joined me and Jem did a teeny spew on me so that sealed the deal that we came home and watched Macgyver on dvd! ho hum 3 weeks and 2 days first movie didnt work... but it so could have, so we will try again and go to a later movie the prob was that it was 6.30 start and that is Jem's awake time at the moment.... ho hum

benji went back to work today so i was a good wife and didnt wake him for the midnight feed or the 5ish am feed this morning, and he appreciated that.... I had been getting him to do the midnight burp and nappy change.... so I better go to bed so I can do the same tonight.....
I dont know what she is going to be like tonight she has been asleep ALL day and not feeding heaps in the day time and was very awake at the movies and at home, fell asleep feeding so hmmmmmmmm

my mum is on holidays this week.... i have been a grumpy bum yesterday and today first to benji and today to mum mainly because i want to try being a mum by myself, with nobody watching, i have not had a chance i feel to just sit and stare at my baby and to get a 'normal'.... mum came over and i said your just in time watch jemima and i'm having a shower.... then jem almost cried and mum says 'what do you normally do?" and i crack the ****s because i dont have a normal.... i have not been left alone for the last 3 weeks to get a freakin normal, we have had to go places or had people come over the whole time Jemima has been around.... NEXT WEEK i get to be alone and mum knows my problem at the moment and so we are getting along NOW was not pretty this morning.
on a lighter note she DID clean up my tupperware cupboard!
