Hi Dee, great to hear from you Please keep us updated from time to time, I know life can get crazy busy and it's hard to find time to log on.

Ren, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you had a fabulous day

Jared is doing great. He slept much better last night after a couple of nights when he was up two or three times for a feed! It was like having a newborn again! He's still growing, which is just amazing. He's the same length as his 11 month old cousin. He's so strong and loves to stand or sit. Doesn't like to lie down or be treated like a baby He is totally in love with his big brother and can't take his eyes off him. Whenever he catches Ben's eye he totally cracks up like he's trying to impress him. They make me laugh every day.

Okay, gotta run. The oompa is asking for a feed

Just quickly.. is anybody going to do baby signing? We used it with Ben and found it REALLY useful. He even invented some of his own signs that he uses now when he says the word. I've already started signing 'milk' to Jared and he thinks it's hilarious

Dis - tell me more about this baby sign language... where can i read about it? I have heard about it before but don't know much about it.
Dee - thanks for letting us know how you are going! Good luck with the next FET... I hope this is it... otherwise the break will do you and your DH good. Maybe after that, some great news
Ella - thank you for the message! How's little Ella going?

Eeek! It's late... off to bed.

Ren, Baby sign language is really cool! I used Baby Hands by Jackie Durnin, which gives some basic signs, perfect for little ones. I didn't start using it with Ben until he was 11 months old, but before he was one he could sign 'finished', 'more', 'eat', and 'drink'. REALLY useful since their vocal ability takes a lot longer to mature than their comprehension. We started using it when we were all getting frustrated with Ben trying to tell us stuff and us not understanding him. It made for a much more relaxed family. I think Jackie has a website, maybe just do a search for Baby Hands, I'm sure you'll find it
Apparently it leads to better vocab skills as the kids get older too. I've been told by a lot of people that Ben speaks very well for a boy of his age, so maybe they're right

Us, we had a wonderful night last night. Jared slept from 10pm until 5am without a peep. Then slept until 9:30. I'm feeling really good today! We have a nephew's birthday party this evening and soccer tomorrow, and that's it for the weekend I like quiet weekends

Hello everyone....hope you are all well.

Dee: Thanks for popping in and keeping us updated. All the best. Fingers are crossed.

Soph: Good to hear that little man is getting better.....must be a relief.

Ren: Glad to hear that you had a great birthday. Birthdays seem more fun when you have little ones. Nice to hear that you and Runner caught up.

Dis: Yeah on the big stretch of sleep!! I know what you mean about the interaction between siblings. I enjoy watching it too and look forward to the moment that play in each others rooms etc. (I woud say can't wait....but I can because with that comes with the arguing and fights he he).

AFM: We went to the zoo today and DD had a great time. We are toilet training and she went really well!! When we were there Dash let out his first loud dad, dad, dads and bub, bub, bubs!! He hasn't stopped now that he thinks he is sooooo clever. He is also pulling his legs up when on his tummy and elbows and can push his body off the ground with his feet.....it's all starting he he!! He is loving his custard and farex...starting vegetables this week!! It is doing his reflux the world of good!!

TTFN, going to read Caiden's Birth Story.

Glad to hear you had a great bday Ren

Ella is doing really well still sleeping thru and she is now rolling which is great but also sad for me because it means she's growing too quickly - I have also started her on solids which she is loving - How is Miss Ava going?

    hi there ladies!!

it has been ages since I last posted too!! WE are just loving our life with our little girl and Logan just cannot get enough of his little sister!!

Yes, Ren and I caught up - it was great - lovely weather, great company and yummy food, hey, but you stole my peg!!! He, he!!! Happy Birthday to YOU Ren!!! Ahh...you are so young...

Well, training is going well now, since the calf has decided to heal. WEnt for a 18km run on Saturday and then hubby and I went out for a 35km ride ride on sunday....babysitter comes now every second Sunday morning. This weekend I am going to do a 25km 'fun run' (not fun for some, but for me? yes!). With all this activity I have lost a little bit more weight and now only 1.5kgs off my post baby weight....But that last bit will stay on until I finish breastfeeding....in the meantime I have eaten anything I want (yes, hate me BUT really it is the running 7 days a week!).

Amara is almost 4 months and a real little cubby girl... I am so in love with her..
