Kim I know how you feel I am the same. But since being on my meds I am feeling a lot better and really starting to enjoy myself now. The community nurses here are wonderful. I am thinking of writing a letter to the local paper to thank them. I never knew that their was so much wonderful support out their and it has not cost me anything at all! I would be lost without them thats for sure.

I have another pram walk with the PND mums this morning so I am looking forward to that, its going to be a lovely day here.

I got my first AF on Saturday since JD was born. I suspect its because I am now back on the pill and I was up to the sugar pills. It was a very heavy period though, similar to when I bleed after his birth, which I wasnt expecting. But no cramps which was nice for a change.

    Welcome rainbow girl

Awww kim - you're just a mum with her hands full if you ask me!

Amanda - have fun on your walk.

Deb - the needles are awful aren't they, i'm not looking forward to the next lot!!

Jo - hope you got your assignment finished!

We went to our first mums and bubs movie this morning - it was really good. DS sat on my lap and watched the big screen for ages, then he had a feed and slept the rest of the time. It was so easy, I imagine it would be a lot harder once they become mobile!!

I am so annoyed. I wrote my mothers group in on the calendar on the wrong day!! So I turned up there today only to be told it was yesterday I was really looking forward to it too! Oh well i have a free afternoon now... i guess i better get back to my house sorting out - i'm on a bit of a mission!!

Kirsten i keep forgetting to ask...did you speak to you GP about Ryleys testicle issue (sorry i know you were embarrassed but please dont be). Zachery had a bruise on his the other day and i have no idea how it got there, but i had to ask the nurse to have a good look.

Well we were ment to have Zachs needles today, but a friend needed her DD's 12month shots done but had no car, so i offered to take them. Done that then we were heading to my dr, only to get there and the carpark was packed and people were parked on the street, so gave it a miss and hit the shops instead!!! LOL

Does anyone elses baby dribble a lot and blow bubbles and chew on their hands? I am worried that JD may already be teething. I was really hoping to get a break between sorting out the reflux and the teething.

Amanda JD has probably started to discover his hands. Teehting can start early in some, but id put it down to self discovery.

Jo Ruby sounds like she is doing very well

I went to the GP yesterday, Zach still didnt get his needles, my health cme first.

Hi Ladies, hope you and your bubs are all doing well.

We had our health check up yesterday, the results are...

    Weight 6.9kg - 95th percentile
    Height 61cm - 75th percentile
    Head Circ. 40cm - 55th percentile

He is a little chubber, lol! The nurse said he is extremely healthy & happy. I'm so pleased he is going so well - I feel so so lucky every day!!!

Amanda - Harrison is exactly the same, lots of bubbles and dribbling. He sucks on his fists like crazy sometimes!

Jo - How cute you taking ruby to uni in the sling! I have no doubt she was the centre of attention

    Kim - hope you're ok

    Have a great weekend everyone

Puppies-I noticed Ryley has been dribbling and putting his hand in his mouth..I was told it because he found his hand I hope he not teething either..

Hello to everyone else I missed..

AFM-We had our first full sleep through night last night..10pm to 8am!! Couldn't believe it!! I had to take him to the chiro yesterday for his head shape and the chiro found that Ryley arm was out of socket so he popped it back in And his neck was out of wack to so he popped that back in as well and he cried like he did at his needles poor little thing..Its going to take 3 months to get his head nice and round and I am so glad I went while he is young..He been a bit unsettled so I gave him some panadol. And omg he rolled onto his stomach Got a picture and video of it on my facebook..

Well hope you all are well..

Victoria sounds like Harrison is doing very well, you must make gret milk

AFM im doing ok. As i said my health had to come first the other day. Right now i dont want to talk about it with the world, its nothing life threatening...just not ready to face the facts just yet. We had friendss over for dinner tonight and Zach went to sleep in my friends arms, was so cute. He giggles at everything now, but huge giggles when tickled under his neck!!

    Kim,
Thats great that you are trying to take care of yourself. Its so true that our babies pick up on our moods and then they rub off on them. I want JD to be happy not sad or distressed so that gives me good motivation to do what ever it takes to help lift me up.

My mothers group finished today. I am a bit sad but at the same time we are all going to try and meet up every Monday at a local playgroup. We are a good group and the children are starting to become friends. This morning Ava and JD were playing together, it was so cute. She is 6 months old so she was more interested in him than the other way around. But it was still cute.

I went to our new library this morning and got a library card so that I can borrow books for JD. He loves books especially ones that rhyme. I must admit I love reading to him. If I was going to change my career I would go into early child care. I just love littlies.

I might go down to the clinic and get him weighed and measured etc. I popped him on the scale this morning and I think it was about 6.8kg but I am not very good at reading those things. But I know he is doing well as he has already grown out of most of his newborn clothes. He is in 000 but in some of them he is 00 mainly cause he has long legs and big feet.

Well better go get his bottle ready he will be waking for his afternoon feed soon.

Steph, how are you enjoying your mothers group? Anyone else going to one?

Mothers group is going well. I'm not sure I've learnt anything but its good to meet people! We've started looking at getting a visa for me to stay here... Larissa's australian passport came today!! So exciting!!

I had to have a pelvic ultrasound on friday because i'm still bleeding and have an appointment on weds to get the results. I'm really hoping its just because of having the mirena put in!

Steph I am glad you are enjoying Mothers Group. Yes I must admit the interaction with the other mums is for sure the appealing factor of the group. We are finished now and are going to try and meet up at a local playgroup on Monday mornings now.

I hope your ultra sound gives you an answer to your bleeding. It sounds like a bit of a worry. You must be starting to get tired loosing so much blood for so long. Have you started your job at Gloria Jeans yet? How is that going? What is a Mirena?

    Hey girls

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit, just had a week of being a lil stressed, but feeling a lot better now! Thanks to Rob, he got me these tablets from the chemist to help with stress and mild anxiety, so been on them nearly a week and feeling the effects of them!

Harley is going so well, starting to make a sleeping pattern at night although last night was a bit different. Normally his last feed is between 5 and 6.30pm and he is normally down for the night by 7pm. He then wakes between 2 and 3am and then after that feed is down till 6.30 or 7am...Last night though, he didn't have his last feed till 7.45pm and was down by 8.30pm and woke at 3am and has been awake since 6.30am and is about to have his first morning feed, didn't think he needed a feed that soon! Like him to go at least 3.5 to 4 hours between feeds during the day and he seems to be sticking to 5 feeds! Cat naps a bit during the day until his 4th feed when he seems to go down for a couple of hours sleep until he has that last feed and bath etc at night.
He is 10 weeks tomorrow!! How fast has that gone!! I weighed him this morning on our scales and came up with 5.6kg...so hopefully thats a good weight, he sure is pretty happy and growing well.

Hopefully will have a call soon from the local day care center with a spot for Charlotte. They called me the other week to make sure I was still keen on a spot! So that will be good! Just to have one days break where I can clean and spend a bit of time with Harley I think it will be excellent for Charlotte as well. I've worked out shes about 5months behind, although don't like to say shes behind, shes just showing signs of learning and saying words that an average 2 year old would be saying and shes now nearly 2.6... So day care can only help her improve more, and I guess I should enjoy the way she is now cos one day I don't think I'll keep her quiet hehehe!!!

Hope u girls are all well and same with ur bubbas, loving the pics I've seen on facebook, we all have such beautiful children and are very blessed!!

Oh loving my new avatar as well

I better get moving, the lil man is starting to get a bit upset...take care girls

    Hey chicks!! I'm back!!!

Wondered why I wasn't getting any emails on this thread - there's a new one!

Painting is done, have to get some touch ups, but Riley has tonsilitis AGAIN so put that off to next week.

Sorry to KIM as I have stuffed you around 2 weeks running on our catch up!! Riley has discovered how to spit out his meds. He was doing really well since I took him to GP on Sunday taking them, but since he won't take them, he's up half the night again. Judd is sleeping through now, but Riley is still giving us grief. Might be best to try an afternoon visit when he's better, that way I can give him a morning sleep and not worry about him getting over tired. Will keep you posted I promise!

Judd has a belly button hernia, and needs this looked at on Friday. But it's just a precaution, I've heard they just leave them and they shrink as bubs grows and is normally fixed by the age of 3 - 5 yrs. I'm going to ask the specialist about Riley and his tonsils and see what he thinks. I know they won't take them out yet, but I want to see what his thoughts are on his snoring etc as well.

Got some pain stop into him tonight, so hoping that will knock him out enough!

AFM - AF finally came on Sunday. Quite happy with it actually, not too heavy after day 2 and no pain at all. Was a bit worried after having tubes tied it might not be right as some women can be really effected by the op, but so far so good. Right boob still leaking though .

On the depression, Amanda, I agree, I think that you've had fantastic support. I wish I had that when I had Patrick, mine might have been picked up a lot quicker. KIM sorry to hear you're not feeling the best. I hope that you get on top of it, and if you ever need to talk, please call me as I have suffered the same things and might be able to understand a bit of where you are coming from. You never know.

Oh, and I've nearly lost all of my baby weight and Judd's not even 3 months! Yay, this has helped my depression too - exercise that is, and losing weight always makes us ladies happy!!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back on! The ultrasound came back normal so my GP says to give the mirena a few more months and see if it settles down else I'll have to change to something else. Larissa rolled over for the first time yesterday! So exciting!!! We had her weighed last week and she's now in the 50th percentile, only put on 300g since we had her weighed last month but the doctor said thats good enough growth not to worry!

Not very much has been going on - I have the whooping cough and cervical cancer vaccines on weds and my arms are so sore now, its so difficult to find a comfy position to sleep in!

Amanda, you said a while ago about popping over one day, you're always welcome! Don't feel like you need to do it urgently though as hopefully we'll be staying here for a while now!

    Hope you're all ok! x
