Welcome everyone to the new combined 2004 thread. As time passes people slowly drop off which we found was happening in both the seperate threads, so we decided it was now time to put both the threads together so we all would have some more people to chat too.
Christy - do you have any plans for Matlida's upcoming birthday ??
Goodness me, is Matilda nearly two already??! How time flies.
Thought I'd pop my head in here while I can - for those in previously in the Jan-June thread, I am being induced tomorrow. I won't be able to post for a few days (or maybe longer, depending how long it takes me to get my sanity back!) but I'm sure one of the gals whose phone numbers I have will post a birth announcement sometime tomorrow or Friday. Jo and I have just realised that she's having a Caesar on Friday at the same hospital I'm having the induction tomorrow, so it would be funny if we ended up being room mates! Anyway, big hugs to all of you and your bubs, and I look forward to chatting to you soon.
Goodluck for tomorrow Kellee! I'll be thinking of you.
not much happening with us. Lily is still having her hyper moment at the same time in the afternoon. Doesn't matter what we feed her or even if she's had anything recetly, so its not food/drink. Lasts about 2 hours. She makes me tired just watchign her! She's also started to not want a day time nap. Is this normal?
Mel I haven't gotten to doing your update either, I will when I get back from holidays. We are going to Sydney this morning & will be back Sunday so I'll do it then.
We've had an eventful few days over here with Matilda getting croup & trips to the hospital & me having scans. So things are crazy. The plan for Matilda's birthday is a few family members who are visiting for the event & 2 families of friends in the park for a m.tea. Thats it. Very very basic, no games just a cake & nibblies. Should be good though.
Hey everybody. This is really lovely to have new people to talk to *yay*. Paige is so funny lately, she is trying so hard to be grown up and do as she is told and be really helpful, but then she has a little moment where she just can't help herself and has to be wicked LOL.
no worries christy - have a great time in sydney & i hope matilda has a fun birthday
tegan - eliana varies her naps too - some days she will have 2 other days just one & some days none!!! kind of hard to plan days as i dont know what state she will be in
sherie - how cute of paige & her personalities!
i have given up trying to get eliana to have an early sleep today - im meeting a friend for lunch at mooloolaba & was hoping she would sleep so she isnt crazy in the restuarant - oh well - she is trashing the place at the moment - toys are going everywhere!
Hi gals, I love this new combined thread, more lovely people to talk with!
Mel, hope you have a great lunch and Eliana doesn't go too crazy!
Have a great trip, Christy!
OK, just popping in to say bye for a while...am getting really nervous/excited tomorrow, and really emotional about being without Kaleb for a few days, in fact I'm more worried about that than anything, which is crazy. Anyway, hope everyone's well and I'll be back soon!
Mel - I actually got Lily to have a nap today. But only for 30mins. That was 30mins of bliss though!
Sherie - How cute of Paige acting all grown up. Speaking of helping out, Lily has been so amazing lately. Everytime we go out, she will go and get Jacob's shoes(the right ones mind you, out of about 6 pairs in a pile) and then mine. Then she'll get my handbag and keys. It has amazed me just how much she really knows and undestands and she's only 18mo.
Only problem is I am confused now and can't remember what everybody said LOL
Have heard nothing from Kellee yet, hope it went well, and same for Jo too, I do hope they are roomies, that would be so cool!!
Tegan- congrats on the wedding date, that is excellent, and you are getting married on Jess' bday, so I will def remember when it comes up.
I will try to do more personals next time, just haven't time to concentrate atm. Almost dinnertime, and then I am planning to sew and tidy up and whatever else LOL
Hope I get some slow down time tonight!
Hope you are having Fun away Christy
cheers Michelle
A really quick post cause I am home alone tonight with the kids ... Ryan has gone out for the night. Time to get them ready for bed and then to sit down and watch Friday Night Live.
All these people having their next babies ... I am a bit jealous really. I honestly thought that we would be in the same boat but spanners get thrown in the works and things don't quite work out as planned. The older Asha gets the less likely I am to have another baby. The idea was to have a brother or sister for her so taht there wasn't a huge age gap between them. I was hoping to aim for March next year (Asha would be almost 3 then) but Ryan has basically said no that we should wait another 12 months which would mean Asha would be almost 4 and I am not so keen on that idea! Hmmm anyway ... maybe 3 kids is all I am supposed to have!
Better go ... the house has gone amazingly quiet and that makes me nervous!!!!
Enjoy your long weekend ... we had ours last weekend!
Hi everyone. I used to visit this forum about a year ago, and i'm back.
Thought i'd join this group.
My DD1 was born 18th Dec 04. Meant to be a Jan bub, but came 3 weeks early.
She is 17 months now and doing great. Starting to speak a bit which is soo cute.
She has a baby sister already who she loves heaps! It's soo cute seeing someone soo young being a big sister already. She's really good with her.
She's a very good bub, but still wakes some nights I thought she'd be sleeping through by now. Her sister does though, so at least it's only one baby getting up, and it's not every night. She does have her molars coming through though, so could be that.
Anyone elses bubs still wake at night?
Cheers!
Melissa
hi mel83, I think I remember you from the Pregnancy Forums.
That's great Julianna has a little sister already. DH and I have finally decided on TTC #2 and I am really looking forward to seeing Aidan be a big brother.
Hi Melissa I think I remeber you too. How lovely to have the girls close together. As for sleeping through, Jess wakes up if she is cold. As it has ben very cold lately we opened her bedroom door when she was asleep so the room wouldn't be so cold, and she woke up and saw the lamp light in Jemma's room adn thought it was morning. So she climbed out of her cot and came into my bed, prob was it was 3am LOL. and she was all ready to be awake, wanted a drink wanted to know where Jemma was. So I gave her a drink adn put her back to bed, and Idon't open the door anymore. Do you go in to resettle Julianna?
What is hapening with Jo and Kellee??? Anybody heard any news, I am dying to hear!!
Going to do some sewing spent the morning cleaning up and now have free time. the 2 big kids are at my mums Jess is in Bed, Arron is watching tv and Jemma is amsing herself, I like thesesort of days
Hugs
Michelle
