My Mum did it to us all the time, Fi. She's the queen of emotional blackmail As for going to the school, the ex has probably warned them not to allow you or Shane to see the kids - both my Mum and my Dad did that to us at various times. It's such a sucky situation for kids to be in (no matter the age). Who knows what she's telling them??
