    Ooh...new thread...

We're doing well, Beth had her first projectile reflux moment last night which freaked her out a bit as she hasn't really chucked at all up to that point, took ages to resettle her - poor little mite ended up being awake from 6pm right through to 11pm. This is really unusual...normally we have to work really hard to wake her up enough to feed.

We weighed for the first time since we left the hospital yesterday - she has managed to put on over 500g over her birth weight at 15 days old, so the BF is clearly working for her - she had her first bottle of EBM late last night so the Pixie could get a bit more sleep.

Sorry to hear about the colds doing the rounds, that really can't be much fun....back with some personals later....

    Hi.
    Wow. A new thread.

Taralee - Welcome to our little group. Congrats on your little man. I hope everything is going great with you all so far.

Bear - Great weight gain for Beth. That would have been awesome for you feeding Beth the EBM last night.

Missy - Liam looks so cute!!!! Hayden drinks between 120ml - 130ml. We sometimes put more in the bottle incase he wants it, but it's no biggie if he doesn't drink it.
Hayden has tummy time sometimes. He's got a really strong neck and holds his head up a fair bit already.
Hayden does wind smiles sometimes, not that often. He does big grins and little smirk kinda smiles alot lately.
Yeah, he's been following us around with his eyes. He's a stickybeak already.

Tan - I hope the doctors went alright for Jayden.

I'm a bit lost but I tried to catch up as best I could.
I'm sorry I did such a poor effort with personals.

I've been really rundown so I've got myself a cold again.
Hayden is a bit more whingy then usual today, so I think I might have given it to him.
    Hopefully not though.

    to everyone.

    xoxo.

    Heya all,

TheBear-Great minds think alike, DS has EBM in a bottle once a night and somtimes on DH's day off so I can get abit of sleep.

Missy- DS can hold his head up well already, I was told the day after he was born that the strength in his neck was the same strength a 1month old would have.

The girls havnt decided on a meet-up date yet but I will txt you when they do.

Tenny- Oh you poor love, I hope he hasnt caught it off you.

Belle- Yeah I will be in to take DD to see Dora. I have trouble getting on it aswell, They havnt decided on a date yet but I will let you know.

Pink- I have been taking Fenugreek aswell..sorry its upsetting your tummy.

Mary- Glad the meds are starting to work, poor Izzy. Lucas is now sleeping a few hrs of a night but not during the day unless I hold him.

Pam- DS likes to be held aswell, wont sleep unless I hold him and when I put him down he wakes and screams.

Tasia- With 2 kids it seems like all I do is go around and around in circles so to have DH home for awhile would have been nice but anyway... He is taking me to Fiji this time next yr when he has holidays so that will make up for it LOL

DS got weighed yesterday, he is now 3.61. Does that seem ok?

    Good afternoon all

Hey I went for my local GP today, she checked my ceasearan scar & it looks good. I asked her if I'm overweight because the only reason why I asked her is because my hubby said to me I'm overweight, but I don't see it, so I asked my GP & she said ur normal she weighed me & I'm now 76kgs, I'm like ****. I used to be 67kgs. Now I'm 76kgs, OOOOO MYYYY GOOOOD. I will admit I do have big thighs & I'm working on them & I do have a little bit of love handles. I excersice every second day. LOL u know wat my doctor told me LOL she said watever you do don't do anything mental LOL I'm like WTF, wat she means by that is don't make urself throw up or take any medications because she knows that I want to get pregnant again ASAP & she said pretty much said I can start straight away. So melb girls when we do have our next meet up (this will be my first), you tell me the truth about my weight. I know I just had a baby. Sometimes I feel sad about my weight because of wat my hubby said to me, that I'm overweight, I don't think I am I think I'm average & have always been. Does anyone know that if you can buy Diet Pill/Tablets that reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy work over the counter? Not that I will buy any I can't I' trying to get pregnant again I'm just curious.

    Hey yall..

Well what a horrible past few days in my house.
As you know, Jesse and Isaac both picked up a gastro bug while we were out on Friday.
Saturday night Jesse was throwing up all night, freaking out (as you know).
Sunday morning he did 2 watery poos and ate some toast. He seemed like his old self, was running around the back yard with MIL. He then went down for a nap. He woke up a few hours later. Brought him out and he threw up again 3 times. So decided to call the doctor and just get him checked out. She was great, just said to keep up his fluids (only give small amounts every 10 minutes as the hospital told us), get him some Gastrolyte, which we had and up until then he wouldnt drink it. So went back home. We got him to drink some of that stuff by watering it down at first then he got onto it full strength. Temperature then came on. Gave him some panadol. Took 45 minutes to kick in. But calmed him down alot when it did. He then slept in his bed. Woke at midnight and was whimpering and crying until about 3am out in the lounge room. Then ended up falling asleep and was awake again at 5am doing the same. Was rolling around the lounge room just so upset and so sick. Was taking the gastrolyte but i could only give him 7mls every 10 minutes and he was asking for more, and was getting upset when i couldnt give it to him. Gave more panadol for the temperature that was still there. He then had the runs and fell asleep eventually around 9ish. Then the same just continued to happen for the rest of the day. He was so so sick. I felt so bad for him there was nothing i could do. DH then got then got the runs. Around 5pm he was throwing up really bad. MIL had been here since she'd been home from work and she then threw up also. Think it was from hearing DH being sick though as she has a week stomack. DH then went to bed. I sent MIL home. And was left to look after Keira and a sick little boy! By this time Jesse was falling asleep again on his little fold out lounge. Keira started playing up so i was in her room trying to settle her so she would disturb Jesse. Settle her and come out to find him playing with his cars! I was shocked. His temperature was completely gone (he'd had it for 24 hours). We sat at the table and drew. He was so wobbly on his feet though. So sad. But he ended up getting tired around 8.30pm and i put him to bed where he slept until 5am this morning.. which was great. He really needed that sleep. I slept on the lounge just hoping i dont get it from DH. Keira fed then at 10pm and didnt wake until 4am this morning for her next feed, which was great also.. i was so buggered and needed the sleep. Jesse today is so much better. He's had 2 runny nappies and is so wobbly still on his feet. He looks so skinny. He lost 1kg in 2 days. But he has eaten 2 arrowroot biscuits through today and is still drinking lots. So i think hes on the road to recovery. Hes asleep in bed atm. DH seems to be getting better.. is just very sore and warn out today.
So far *TOUCH WOOD* Keira and i havent had it and am praying neither of us, especially her, get it. I pray Jesse or her never get it again, but i know theyre kids and they will. That was the worst 3 days of my life seeing Jesse that sick. He was so ill. His eyes were all sunken in and red and glassy and he was white as a ghost. Was so horrible to see my little baby boy like that.

But anyways.. im going to go make the most of the time both my kids are asleep and try and sleep some myself.
I hope everyone is doing well and all those babies are now starting to sleep though!
Ill be back to catch up once our house is back in order and everyone is better.
    Thanks for all your thoughts

    xx
