Mez.. You could always get some long sleeve body suits and put them on under the wondersuit. I did that with Jesse when he was in them. Just alternated between the long and short sleeve body suits. But i think they say with the grobags that you may find their hands are a little cold, just as long as their body is warm, then theyre fine. I know they say not to use blankets with them. But with Jesse, when we would put him to bed it would be hot.. then come the time we go to bed it had cooled down and i would just put a blanket on him.. otherwise if we dressed him up before hand he would sweat like a pig and not be able to get to sleep. i know how you feel re the needles. I still have to get Keiras done.

Mel.. awww poor thing. You can try some stuff from the chemist called Gaviscon. Its for regurgetation (sp).. Kristy uses it for her boys and finds it great. I used it for Keira but made her constipated and didnt make a difference, so depends on the bub. You just add it to their formula. Its not a milk thickener though. Otherwise yeh see what the doc says. They may prescribe you something like Losec or Zantac or suggest putting her on AR Formula. Ive found the AR formula has worked well for Keira. She has proper reflux though but i know you can use the AR for silent also. Mez has Izzy on AR Formula plus Zantac.

Well it was a stinker here today!!!!!!!!! And another due tomorrow! Oh and AF is back!!! So am starting the pill! Opps but forgot to get it.. so will tomorrow. The first few pills are only sugar ones anyways so should be right.

Tan- I havnt heard of that.. maybe get one of those clams so you can close it?? Thats what we have done anyway.. Hope you had a nice lunch

Mel - Izzy is on Zantac twice a day and I have her on Karicare AR formula. See what the doc suggests but they will hopefully tell you to give her either Losec or Zantac.

SW - So glad that your little girl didn't cry for long, Izzy with her second needle went red in the face and did the hold the breath cry it broke my heart. She seems okay now haven't given her panadol and is sleeping at moment.

Kell - thanks for the info I did put a long sleeve bodysuit under her wondersuit last night but still cold I'll see how she goes tonight like you said if the rest of her body is warm it should be fine. Oh and did you use to take her out to have a feed during the night, cause I've been keeping her in it just easier for me.

Zee - I can't wait to see the photos, so happy that you guys had a great time today.

Tenny.. yeh either way. I thought it was a good investment myself. Our bath is pretty deep so holding Keira or Jesse over the side would wreck my arms. But i guess alot of people just lay bubs down on their back in the bath.. you can do that? Im going to put Keira in the seat though and bath Jesse at the same time i think.. he'd prob drown her if she was on her back lol. Oh enjoy it while you dont have AF! One of the best things about being pregnant!

Mez.. Yeh for sure, i left Jesse in it. Id put him in it before his last feed too.. otherwise taking them out will just wake them up more. What tog do you have her in atm? Maybe the next tog up might be better? But i guess also, if shes cold she'll let you know.

Zee.. oh are you getting an implanon thingy? Have you seen the thread on BB lately about them? hmm kinda the reason i dont wanna get one.

Mez.. lol i know.. no DTD here either.. but i wanna get the AF under control.. shes been a bit wild lately! lol

hahaha - sorry. pmsl-ing that 90210 was axed after only 4 episodes. Must have been hideous! LOL

Ayapi - yeah, she did brilliantly. Was a little grizzly for a couple of hours this arvo, but is back to her smiley happy self - also no panadol. Currently playing on her play mat with one of the cats!! Every now and then tries to move her head far enough to watch tv, but mostly happy grabbing at Linden (and Linden is thrilled that her play thing is getting more interactive!). She loves talking to Linden, too (and Linden talks back). I think it's just a matter of time before Alyssa starts meowing!!

We have Alyssa in short sleeve body suits at night unless it's a cold night. Her hands do get a little cold, but she seems really happy. On cold nights we put her in full length body suits. She loves the grobags - gives the biggest smiles when you do up the shoulders =) She makes me melt BIG TIME!

Mel: Hope its not reflux hun...then again if it is you can treat it. Of course we'd come down for the naming day!

Mez: Shepards pie was delicious!! Sounds like Izzy coped ok with the shots, hope she's good o'night for you

SW: Woohoo for Alyssa and her shots!

    Kell/Mel: Bugger for AF!!

Tenny: Snakes don't bother me too much, but I don't want them around my kids or dogs

Zee: We use to have a clam for the dogs to play in water but they ripped it up....it wouldn't last long if I got one for the kids LOL

    Missy: What great stats!

    Evening all.....
It was sooooooo hot today.... Bear tried to put Beth in the swimming pool this afternoon - she cried though because the water was freezing. It was too cold for me! My brother and his girlfriend came to visit, his gf is 16 wks pregnant. It was good to catch up with them, first time they have met DD. I am wondering how keen my bro is on the whole baby idea..... His GF is really happy but I get the impression he is more worried about how it will affect his life and not sure how keen he is on babies generally. Hopefully we will go and see them in Canada when they have the baby - always wanted to go to Canada! Our other big news today is we are going on holiday next week - up to Mission Beach for a few days. We'll be staying at the same hotel as my stepmum and her kids so we'll have babysitting on site! It will be Beth's first flight so that's exciting. Taking commercial flights though so we can't drop in on the way Mel & Tan! Bummer! We were so knackered tonight that we went to bed at 8.45! DD woke at 11 and just waiting for her to fall asleep again now.
    Mel Happy 2 months Mehkelti
I really hope the doctor can sort out the reflux for you. It must be really wearing you down having her crying all the time. It just gets to you, no wonder A is copping it sometimes! You're doing great, the doc can sort her out and hopefully she will start sleeping better for you too.
Zee & Belle - glad you had a good meetup! Pics please! Zee we are in Balmain, would love to meet up with you ..... there's good Italian food in Leichhardt/ Haberfield? Or you could come round for tea sometime.
SW - LOL about 90210. We have to book DD in for her shots... not too worried about it, she got jabbed so much in NICU we are kind of used to it.
Mez, - we have her in a sleeping bag most nights but we still swaddle her underneath it. No sleeping bag tonight though, its too hot.
Missy - Liam is going great guns!
Kel - fingers crossed Jess sleeps through for you tonight!
Tan - mwah - don't know about the snake thing! But I guess you have to worry about that kind of thing up there. My brother had a house in Cairns and a python came through the bathroom window once - just what you want when you're on the toilet - NOT!
Anyhoo - that's a huge post from me, still waiting for missy to fall asleep so I can go back to bed! Catch you all tomorrow!
