    Hi guys

Just a quick one, haven't had a chance to have a good read through last week or so - computer was on the blink.

Jess, I think you asked if DH was still working away - he is, two on two off. He's leaving again in the morning actually and we have just been having major progress with sleeping and eczema so I'm hoping it doesn't go downhill when he leaves. Autie loves her dadadadadad LOL Things seem to be going well for you - hurray!

We have started swimming lessons which she loves so far She has always had kicky frog legs so now she gets to put them to good use. Four teeth still, not walking yet - too happy and fast on all fours I think, though she does love her push toy and rearranging the dining chairs. Pointing is her big love at the moment - anyone who talks to her gets a quick run through of anything in sight and it's the first thing she does on waking and standing up in her cot - point point point. Amusing.

I have been bad and bought birthday presents that I've given her already Well, I just couldn't stand that same Hi-5 dvd over and over And then, she needed a little fold out couch to watch her new one right?.... LOL What has everyone else got in mind for presents?

Oh and we went to the doctors for her eczema and I asked the doc to check her over in general while we were there and it turns out she has a heart murmur. Apparently it's very common in young kids but we are going to have her checked by the paed in a couple of weeks - yoink! $210 thanks very much. Ah well, what price your baby's health I guess.

Hope you are all well and happy (threw that one in just cos I like it)

Sacha - nice to hear from you! I was just thinking about Autumn and her eczema the other day - there was a report on Today Tonight about a guy that has made up a cream called Invisible Glove to treat eczema. He is a grandfather whose grandchild had it really bad and they couldn't find anything to cure it, so he mixed some stuff up himself. It worked so well that he marketed it and sold stacks and is now a millionaire (you know how that always happens ). The thing that seemed really good about it is that it had a money back guarentee, so it obviously works quite well. But you sound like you are getting on track with it anyway. That is a bit of a shock about the heart murmur. Hopefully everything goes well - I don't know anything about them - so keep us posted on how it goes with the paed.
We are going birthday shopping this weekend. DH is saying we have to be very strict on what we buy as T won't know its his birthday and family members have gone crazy already (one sister is out hunting for a hutch for the rabbit she is going to buy for Tom. Or maybe two rabbits so they won't be lonely ). We are buying him a bike - one of the peddle ones with the handle so you can push them along, one of those rugs with the race car tracks on it and some shoes. To add to that I want to get him some books and new DVD - I work in an ABC shop so heaps of DVD's I have my eyes on. Tom is a little obsessed with Justine Clark off Playschool and she has a cd of kids songs that I might get to play in the car.

I was settled in to do a big post but i think I am pushing my luck! Tom has been so good today - I have been doing heaps of housework and he has been playing happily by himself, but is starting to get a bit antsy now! I think it might be mummy/son playtime. Will try to come back in over the next few days to catch up with other posts and personals xx

Ok trying again! And trying to remember what was said in the other thread..
Flossie - your invites sound fantastic. It is motivating me to get my butt in to gear! Not long now until the Sex and the City movie comes out! Are you still excited? I definiately am. I will put in a friend request for you on Facebook so that I can have a look at Olivia's outfit.

Nicky - how is the weaning going? I did pretty much what you have done - reduced the feeds to a couple a day, then just a morning one (when I was fullest) then none. I had to occasionally express a little just to take the pressure off a bit but all in all went pretty well. I think with mastitis you have to keep an eye out for feeling achy and tired etc. The only thing that happened with me is a few weeks after I stopped feeding i got a blocked ducted which appeared as a hard painful lump. The doctor sent me for a ultrasound in case it was something worse, but all came back fine and it cleared up in a few days.

Grrr - just got interupted by annoying door to door sales man who did not have very good personal hygenie and couldn't take no for an answer!! How annoying! Run out of time now - have to go start dinner! Hope everyone is well and not too sad that our little bubbas are almost one!!
