Mel im so happy that Jacks operation went well, its such a relief What a scary thing to happen. How are you all coping at the moment? How is Charlize? Dont beat yourselves up to much, which is hard as its what parents do, but just remember little Jack will always love his mummy and daddy no matter what. Chin up hun.
Jan- I went to Big W and accidently ran into a maybe 3yr old with the pram!! I was mortified and felt so sorry for him, but his mum was like "he is okay, he ran round the corner and wasnt watching! I still felt bad until she said it happens at least 3 x on a shopping trip lol!!"
Jas- Great Idea for the birthday list! Ethans is the 25th. Good luck with TTC!
Sacha- Glad Autumns party was a success! We are having ethans early to as Dh will be away also.
Dani- Sorry to hear you have all been sick, glad that your on the mend though. Good on you with the diet, how was your shake this morning?
Nicky- How did your night away go? Hope you relaxed some. Sorry AF showed up, i will keep my fingers crossed for your next cycle, hope it happens soon

Well thats my attemp at personals for today! Now for a catch up on where we are at! Ethan has been really ill with a lung infection, he had super high temps reaching 39.8, he had to have a suppository and i ended up having to take him to the hospital and have him put on a drip for 12hrs as he just refused any fluids and got dehydrated, he has been on antibiotics which if he is all clear at the drs next week he will not need a repeat, which is good as its caused him terrible thrush in his nappy area and looks like it may be coming in his mouth. But i must say he is 80% better than nearly a fortnight ago, he had me quite scared, im glad to have my smiley giggly boy back and he has his appetite back hugely now and is eating more than ever. He is getting a bit more confident in the walking department, and his new thing is to play chasey! He crawls off and waits for me to go after him and when i catch him he cracks up laughing I would like him to learn a new word though as he is constantly shouting out for his nan! Oh and birthday preparations are going great here im pretty organised i think. The only thing i haven't got yet is some star and moon Aspic Cutters (tiny cookie cutters) for ethans cake but i cannot get them anywhere so am trying to think of a creative alternative!! Pregnancy is going well, all my instincts are shouting "its a girl"!! We will see and seem to be pretty settled on names. Im not really showing either which is a suprise as i showed early with ethan, of course i do look pregnant by the afternoon when im bloated from stuffing my face all day lol i love food!!
Any way i must go and do some more tidying up. my parents are coming tonight for coffee as i baked a banana cake to have with them, im dying to eat some lol!

We got some good news here, doesnt look like we have chicken pox because the spots faded quite a bit and didnt blister. Looks like it could have been flea bites as I pulled about 20 off the dogs yesterday morning. They have since been treated and are flea-free. So it turned out good as I can go back to work tomorrow - I was worried that I would need to call in sick on my second week! We are going to Jason's mum's house this afternoon to talk about Avaleigh's routine and what I need to bring for her.
Well I am going to go and attack some weeds out in the backyard. It sux because as soon as you pull them, more are out the next week!

Jess- Hope Ethan is feeling better. Not long now til your half way through your pregnancy.
Im so excited as I just found out I will be an aunty again in March next year. My BIL and his g.friend already have a boy who is 3 and were told that the chances of having another baby were slim after having 3 miscarriages of which 2 were eptopic and needed a tube removed. So we are all so happy for them...its still only early days but fingers crossed everything will be fine this time.
We went to someone else's birthday party this morning, and then my parents and Autie's cousin came around in the afternoon for a play so that was nice.
The highlight of her day was the helium balloon someone tied around her wrist at the party - she was fascinated. Protested when I put it in the boot of the car, protested when I took it off for lunch, protested when I took it off for nap and it had to be kissed goodnight before bed tonight. It's always the simple things that get them LOL

In between all of this birthday talk - I have a couple of baby-related questions (that will be TODDLER related questions soon!). How many bottles is everyone doing a day at the moment - and how many day sleeps? The last few days Tom has refused his afternoon sleep..
