Em - hope that everything is okay for you & all your family, and that you've been able to get home, and haven't caught your sister's gastro.
Lis - OMG that you were that close. It's great that your house is okay, but so awful for your neighbours. But YAY that Olivia ate her dinner. Liam vomited his down my front, so I take it that his wasn't so palatable. Gotta love being a mum, I think when he was born I grew a target spot on my chest that says "spew here", cos the number of times....
Nicky & Bec - hope that you are both okay too, just watching the news talk about Bendigo fires.
Sarah - so sorry to hear about your Nan's home, that's so devastating. There just aren't the words to say how sorry I am for her.
I'm also feeling really sorry for the folks in qld who are having to deal with floods. They're "lucky" in that they're not having the same catastophic loss of lives, and they'll at least be able to salvage some things from their homes, but it's still a devastating thing to go through. And their difficulties are now somewhat overshadowed. I guess though that with floods it's an act of god (or whoever) so you can maybe reconcile the loss a little more easily, but so many of these fires down here seem to be acts of arsonists, or stupidists who flick cigarette butts (allegedly).
