Tannis - OMG you go to bed late, or should that be early lol.... I don't know how you do it I would be exhausted the next day, plus you're up early
Missy - I have a basket full of clothes too, got to put all the clothes away and then start all over again.. My FIL did some ironing which was very sweet though.
Kristy - your boys are doing really well, I can totally understand you don't being able to pop in too often you do have your hands full. You have a lovely Christmas too.
Tasia - Happy shopping, we are going to the deli today as I'm making an antipasto platter for xmas and a cake.
Welcome to Chantel, I'm sure that you will enjoy our group we are very friendly and talkative. Look forward to getting to know you and your family.
Well Izzy will be starting her next vegie tomorrow pumpkin so looking forward to that! She is doing really well on the potato so I'm happy with her progress with her solids. Is it bad that I don't want to start her on fruit just yet cause I want her to eat her vegies first before tasting sweet??? Or should I be mixing it? She is only having one solid meal at the moment anyway.
Oh wow. A new thread already! Thanks, Trillian!
You ladies have chatted so much. I can't keep up.
Welcome to our group, Chantel. Congrats on your babygirl. I hope everything is going great with her. Looking forward to getting to know you better. and Happy belated 5months to her too.
Happy 5months little miss Izzy!
Mez - Sounds like Izzy is going fantastic with her soilds. I've only done fruits with Bubbablue so far. It'll be interesting to see if he likes potato and pumpkin, cause I did give him a taste of it the other day off my finger and he didn't seem that into it. I'm hoping he likes vegies too. The video you put on FB is just precious. I love it!!!
Feeb - Gorgeous photos on FB. I'm thinking Jacob looks so much like you in a couple of those. What do you think? I'm glad you had a safe trip and welcome back!!
Kristy - Your boys sound like they're going fabulously. I've been doing the jar stuff too aswell as me holding chunks of fruit in his mouth with his hand holding mine. lol.
Pix - YAY Beth! What a clever little cookie. Haydie just wants to be sitting up all the time. I've just been sitting with my legs out straight and him on the floor between them. He's getting better with his balance. He mostly just goes too far forward instead of all wobbly and sideways.
SW - Awesome stats for Alyssa. She's such a gorgeous little angel. Sounds like your house will be great when it's done. Great to hear you guys made a decision on the builder! That's a step closer.
Kell - Awh @ Jesse and the Christmas lights. When we went to look at some the other night, Elijah was so over excited. Bubbablue slept the whole time too. Next year they'll enjoy it more.
Mel - Your DH would have loved his day with just your DD. Special daddy/daughter time.
Tan - I have baskets to fold too but I don't feel like doing it today. Lol. Oh well. I'll just leave it longer hoping that DP MIGHT do it for me, highly unlikely I know. :P Wow. So Chris doesn't like you on the computer cause he's home, but is he even suggesting to go do things with you and the kids?
and Missy, Zee, Belle, Sweetpea, Tasia and anyone I might have missed.
I hope the bubbas have been sleeping well and teething isn't being that much of a pain in the butt.
As for us.
Haydie has been doing these huge spitty raspberries and I end up coverd in a spit shower. Elijah thinks it's hilarious. Lol.
Started Haydie on pear and he absolutely loves it. Even more then the apple. I'm just doing the fruit on it's on without farex cause it didn't seem like the farex was that big of a hit.
The little toothie pegs are so right just there. I'm hoping them show themselves real soon.
So glad to get rid of my sisters dog and he was only here for 2 days. Him and the cat. OMG.
Not much else going on. Just going to start making some Christmas food tonight. I'll probably just make the ice cream dessert thingie. I was told I couldn't make it tomorrow in the daytime cause DP wants to lick the bowl. HAHAHAHAHA.
Whingy boy here today. Anyone wanna swap? hehehe.
xx
Hi guys, quick pop in - last day at work, hoping to go home in an hour or so.
to Chantel - congrats on your little girl
DH is at home with the kids today - even though he has cheated and taken them over to his parents for a few hours - lucky bugger - doesn't have to deal with the both of them at once.. pmsl..
Feels sooo weird to know that my IL's are with my kids and I'm not there - not that they need protecting from them - but I like to be there just in case something happened ya know? Probably just being stupid.
Anyhoo - best be off. Just got to enter one more account - woot woot!!! Typical its a hard one though haha!!!
Boss gave me a present - a bottle of Malibu - I gave him two big hugs for it - plus he also gave me a card that thanked me for my hard work and my friendship with him during the year. He's a great boss.. Me wuvs anyone who gives me al-ka-ma-hol.. hehehehe
Gonna have to take that to Hervey Bay and Bundy and shout Tan to a drink
YAY! Last day at work Mel!
That's greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. I hope the last account you need to do doesn't drag on.
I totally get what you meant about the ILs.
What a great boss you have too.
Just before I got to Elijah "Why don't you like to talk to Hayden when he's upset? He likes it when you're talking to him or playing with him."
I get the reply "It's boring.
Hi just wanted to say that Isabel's first little tooth is starting to come out, I can see it just waiting to pop out so hopefully she'll have a tooth for Christmas .... Oh I'm sooooo excited
Mel - Have a safe trip and a great time. Yay on your last day at work and woohoo on the present!!
Well got back from grocery shopping 2 hrs ago & I'm feeding Jonathan. Didn't buy much meat as hubby will be off to Vietnam next Monday. Saw my parents at coles & they were all over Jonathan hehehehe, u should've seen them, it was so funny.
Tenny- hahaha my friends daughter said the same thing about her sister lol.
Mel- That was nice of ur boss. I toooooooootaly understand about the il's.
Mary- Mmmmmmmm yuum I'm coming to ur house for xmas, hehehe. You love making cakes don't? I used to loooooove making cakes, but now when ihave guest over i love making them meals out of a recipe book. I love cooking.
HAPPY FIVE MONTHS IZZY!! Chantel and great to have you joining us!
Mel sounds like you had a pretty good day at work! yay for the last day and catching up with Tan!
Tenny I read your other thread = jeez, can't a person make an observation without it turning into a flame war?? I knew what you meant!
Tasia glad J is going well with his solids
ahhhhhh just too busy this time of year! wish i could hide under the covers until 2 January, I can't wait for life to get back to normal! went to the shops today and it was more like the kind of hell on earth I expected. Beth had her shots and was pretty good at the time but was pretty grizzly at bedtime... not sure if it was the shots, or just because she was massively overtired, or because the Bear came home as I was giving her her last feed.
Anyhoo, better get on with dinner.... have a great night all!
Pixie - I'm glad Beth did ok with her shots. Haydie was sooooo overtired tonight. I think it's the worst I've seen him be... so far.
Thanks about the thread. I didn't mean it as if some people made out I did, but oh well.
Made me feel like such a bad person...
Hey, I've got a question relating Skype. Can you have a conversation like msn without the mic and webcam on? and since I have a mic in my monitor somewhere it automatically turned it on when I was trying to figure skype out. Lol. I'm ditzy.
Tenny - dunno bout skype honey - i thought it was like a telephone link up sorta thing? babe And I'm sorry about your other thread too. Thats why I didn't get into it any more than what I posted. I felt where you were coming from, especially what happened recently in your "village". Don't worry babe - we know you and LOVE you here.
Must of been the night for being overtired!!!! BOY was Miss M cranky as all F...
She keeps waking herself up too - shoving her hand in her mouth - which really cranks DH up.. hehehe... I don't mind that much - I'm over caring whether or not she gets woken up - this stage doesn't last forever, and tomorrow will be different again, so whats it matter?
Better get back to cooking goodies for the IL's for xmas () before we wake Miss M for a feed. We could probably let her go without a feed, and she wouldn't wake up, but I like our little time late at night - alone - without DS interrupting.. lol
God i am so tired this morning... didn't get to bed till 2am, I was wrapping pressies all night. we got way too much 4 Isaac this year so we have put some of it away till his Birthday and the poor twins are hardly getting anything at all as we have most things already from Isaac as a baby.
Tenny- I'm just way to scared to comment on your other thread but i just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of you and TBH i would have been thinking really bad things about those parents, much worse than you could be.
Pixie- thanks for reminding me! oh god i forgot i have to get the twins needles within the next couple of weeks. might call the Dr today see when i can get it done. I'm glad Beth did ok, Isaac and the twins have never had any issues at all.
Ayapi - yay the tooth...Isaac took months for that first tooth to come thru i think he was almost 11 months before he got his first ones.
The twins have teething symptons but not a tooth in sight.
Arimeh- I have been looking in the previous posts but cant find it to see if i missed it. But have you moved to Hervey Bay? My best mate lives there will be going up there soon for her wedding (at kingfisher), but leaving the babies with mum and my sister so DH and i can have a romantic holiday alone. its a beautiful spot.
My Pr**k of a FIL law isn't coming too see us this christmas. he thinks we should have to go to his house but how the hell does making the ones with 3 kids travel make any sence. I am so angry with him and to be honest I HATE him (but i am nice to him 4 DH's sake) but i still feel bad that he wont show my kids the same love and attention he does to my SIL's kids. God it makes me cranky just thinking about it and i just know it will make my boys sad when they get older.
Well i have so much to do today and i can hear the Twins waking so they now need breakfast, Isaac is being soooooo good for once and playing quietly with his cars.
better get cleaning etc. got a big night ahead, a bottle of red to share and swings and a cubby to put together. once the kids are asleep that is.
Hope everyone is having a good time and ready for Christmas tommorrow.
This week I only have Reaghan at home, all the other kids are off with there other parent etc.
Missing my two older girls, their with there dad for Christmas next year so I won't see them till Sunday avo. Though I have brought them pressies from Santa that they will get when they get home as xp buys grap stuff they don't want.
Reaghan is doing really well, she rolls everywhere and pulls knees in under her belly but not quite able to get tummy of the ground yet. She is practily sitting up on her own though topples over easily. When she is standing she is starting to step. I weighed her at home yesterday and she was 6.8kilos so growing well (will have to take her and get her checked properly soon).
I am so far behind in her with her immunisations she has had the 2 month ones (at 3 months) but habe not had the next lot. Will do in the new year.
Just thought id pop in while waiting for MIL to come and watch the kids while i pop up the shops.
Mez.. thats great Izzy's loving her food. I do the same with my kids. Ill be giving Keira farex, but after that she'll be having vegies first before the fruit. Just with Jesse i was told to do it that way otherwise they get a sweet tooth and tend to favour their fruit and sweet things other than vegies. All changes when they hit 2 though lol. Though in saying that Jesse doesnt like lollies either!
Tenny.. oh how cute with the raspberries! Keira just likes to spit lol. Very lady like i know. Yes you can use Skype like msn. You dont have to have a mic or camera. And if you have a camera hooked up it wont come on automatically, you have to select it.
Kristy.. hun, i think the boys will work out for themselves about your FIL. I did with my grandfather. I havent seen or heard from him since i was about 8 and actually i think now i think about it, he may be dead. Shows i have nothing to do with him. Your boys will learn to appreciate your friends and family they have around them. Your FIL aint worth the anger.
Mez.. oooow toothy! Hope it comes through quick and doesnt cause her any trouble. Happy 5 Months IZZY!!!
Pixie.. hope Beth slept ok last night. Yeh id say it was the needles. Just give her some panadol if shes still irritated today.
Mel.. have fun cooking!
Chantel!
Has anyone heard from JessicaKate? Hope shes well.
IL's will be coming over tomorrow morning when Jesse wakes to see him open his pressies. Will be fun. Am going to make Sticky Buns tonight for us to have for breaky mmmmmm sooo good. Will pop them in the fridge and put them in the oven when we wake up.. oh they will smell sooooo good! Gonna pick up some crossaunts (sp?) too.
Ok best run.. will try and pop back on today, but otherwise Hope you all have a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Hi all - hope everyone is not too stressed out in the lead up to christmas tomorrow!!!
Kristy - you can't be expected to go over there with the three kids - so I wouldn't be going either!!!! And no, haven't moved to hervey bay - we are just considering our options for the new year.
Sweetpea - she sounds like she's going well!!!!! What a shame you wont' see your other kids on xmas day -I work in family law so see that a lot with people - it must be hard
best be off.. not sure if I'm going to make anzac biscuits as well today to go in the IL's presents.. I'd rather give them shi.t on a stick.. pmsl..
