LOL at the "performance" Rory!
Char: Niall is my first baby to refuse a dummy... woohoo! Like Karen I've spent many an hour under the cot fossiking in the wee hours. They are a two edged sword: fantastic and frustrating. It will be interesting to see how I cope on public transport when Niall becomes more vocal... how many people are going to complain? I had one woman highly indignant once because she wasn't able to read her book despite my best efforts at trying to settle Wade... thankgod other passengers lept to my defence!

I'm having a Delia Smith moment: making my Traditional Christmas Pudding... it calls for stout! I think I might just use ordinary beer... we have a lot of Stella Artois (Sp?) left over from DH's 40th ... I think that will do... maybe next year I'll try the stout.

ETA: Hmm, I seem to have 2/3 of a bottle of nice cool beer left over... DH, V and W at Little Athletics and N asleep... I think I'd better drink it... be a shame to waste... ah! bliss
