Oh, and Rory, i agree with Mel - carrots might be a little yuck for the little man's taste, definately start with Potato or pumpkin (or maybe even a fruit, like puree pear or apple) once you know they have no prob, you can start mixing them... i have a great recipe, i'll write it out and give it to you later. You can make up a big batch and freeze it in little ice cubes. Very handy and healthy. Sweet potato is also a good one.
