hey ladies a quick one from me, not 100% at the moment, but the joys of a laptop with wireless means im still in bed while online
things r running smoothly here, apart from my asthma and the colds/flu's that are going around. bought Annika her first pair of shoes yesterday (actually boguht 2 pairs, Kmart had buy 1 pair get the seccond pair half price ) but her feet are so small i had to get size 3's - she would've fit into size 2's without a prob, but i want them to last for a little while... pair of white sandals and pink boots with flowers on them. They're so cute!! Bought about 10 summer outfits (in size 1, hopefully she fits into them by summer, she's a tiny bub) last week at target when they had 20% off, so im happy! And DP cant complain about me spending too much money - it was a bargain!! lo
Annika stood up for 5 seconds on her own the other day, everytime i change that beautiful cloth bum of hers (lol) i stand her up and have a play with her, making a game out of standing on her own, she's starting to get more confident now, she never used to have alot of strength in her legs, now she's managing to stand up a little longer each time.
Anyway, hopefully ill be back to do personals later, when my head isnt throbbing so much...
Kat - Annika sounds like she's heaps of fun The outfits and shoes sound adorable - pics please??? Glad you could drop in, even though you're in bed...I LOVE my laptop!
Rory and Bath - yo-yo's....YUM! I was bad yesterday and bought a chocky eclair from the bakery and it was truly evil. I justified it by intending to cut it in half to share with DP, which I did...still felt evil!
Mel - thanks for the tip, I've got a room sorted at both campuses for both weekends! Still, I would like it to be made known to students that they can request this. I happen to be unafraid of asking and have some contacs (read: Mel!) who can help me be resourceful, but many others don't have that. I will get onto the women's advocacy people about this, maybe it can go into the diary or student handbook?
Nic - Every time I read over my demonstrator invite package from Tupp I think of you! Have you recruited anyone? You any closer to that Territory??
Julie - v funny little clandestine post! DP and I have still to figure out how to watch DVD's in bed (on laptop) without waking Oscar. Bourne Identity wasn't too bad, but we couldn't stop laughing for Borat and only ever got to watch the first half hour before handing it back to our friend!
Got a lunch with MG to get ready for now. One of our mummies is moving to Benalla, so it's a farewell lunch for her. She's very sweet and she'll be missed.
I had my haircut, too, so it should not drive me as nuts now...we shall see!!
Oh, and thanks, Mel - I'll go over to my dad's and sneak his psych's phone number from his medication box (I know who his GP is, that's why I was going to call him in the first instance). It's getting to the stage where they definitely need to know what's going on. I think he hurts even more when he sees Oscar and doesn't have the energy to smile for him. He loves Oscar, so I know he's smiling on the inside. *****, that just made me cry. I'll do the MG thing and head over to my dad.
