Kat I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it's hard even if you don't know, I've had a loss similar to you just before I fell pg with Cody, sending you big *hugs*. Glad you have the antibiotic drops for Annika.
Ali I know how scarey croup is as Cody and Lockie had it last month and was horrible, so I feel for you. I would wait and see about cancelling Saturday as she might be better by then..
Mel love your new av, you sexy thing. Cody loves going outside as well, I think he likes been outside with the big boys.
Bath great job on Mels av, your one creative lady.
Hello Jess, Maya, Rory, Nic and Tali.
Not much going on here both Wyatt and Cody have the runs, so not much fun. Better go Las Vegas will be on soon.
Kat - I didn't notice either, so sorry about your loss. Look after yourself. Having a sick bubba probably doesn't help things either. Hope Annika's eyes clear up soon, poor thing!
Bath - you are so clever, I love the avatar!!! Thank you again for doing such a good job.
Maya - thanks babe, wish I had those boobs and hips LOL!!! Very slinky!!!!
Ali - you must feel so relieved that Tori is getting better. So good that the dr could see you so quickly. See how she is by Saturday before you decide, it would be a shame for you and DH to miss you night away, you deserve it.
Amanda - I find that Marley is much happier when Chelsea is around (even if Chelsea gets annoyed with her "ruining" her games etc), so I can imagine it would be triple the fun at your place!
Better go and get the work day production line going - both kids bags to pack, clothes to be ironed and my bag packed! Catch you all tomorrow.
Kat- im so sorry to hear of your loss, i hope your coping ok and liek Maya said there is lots of great support here on BB i hope it helps you somewhat.
Ali- oh i hope poor Tori is recovering, that will be upsetting if you dont get to have your first night off though, hope she is well enough by then that you feel comfortable leaving her.
Maya- Whooo Hoo congratulations on becoming a tupperware demonstrator! dont worry about cutting my lunch lol! no i wont be in melb doing the rounds any time soon! So what distributorship are you with? im sure your going to be a very succesful demonstrator, it can be over whelming in the begining but there is heaps of support, training all the rest of it so you'll be right.
if you struggle with parties i might be able to pass a couple of past hosts i had in Melb details to you to c if they are interested again. I wanted to keep my melb client base but couldnt because i would have to order stock that would get send to me in syd then mail it down and wouldnt be worth the money.
Mel- LOVE your avater, Bath you've outdone yourself again! I think you've pretty much created all the Junie ones now lol! I love the green top too!
had a good day my sister and her 2 DD and my gf with her 20m DD came over for a play, we went for a stroll down the park, it actually got quiet hot, Nixon didnt care that he was the only girl, but he's such a boy, we went out the back to see the puppies and Nixon goes straight into playing in the dirt hole that the husky has dug!
Good afternoon girls... can't sit down for a proper post... too chaotic around here...boys at each other. News though is that my sister may soon be joining BB! She got the 'net connected a few days ago and seems very keen to check out this site that I have been raving on for years to her. Only problem is that she'll read all my secrets! hehe I'll have to behave myself from now on I guess! But another avatar to work on yay!
Boys fighting over the space directly infront of the TV! Arrrgh... gonna turn ABC kids off and take them outside i think!

Nic - Nixon sounds like he had fun in the dirt! I think they love it when they can get dirty, doesn't bother me, its easy to clean up. I am sure he loves hanging out with the girls LOL! Bath is so clever, I love my new look!
Bath - I am glad chaos reigns in someone elses house over ABC Kids!!! Chelsea is continually telling Marley to get out of the way, then shoving her if she doesn't move. How exciting having your sister around, does she have kids? I'm sure she knows your secrets anyway.
Work has been very quiet today, but I don't mind. Was going to have dinner with a GF tonight but she rang and said she had to take her DH to hospital as they think he has appendicitis. Hope he is OK, poor thing has got 3 young kids so would be a struggle on her own.
Mel: my sis has 3 children under 6. A boy and two younger girls.... and no, she doesn't know as much I reveal in here! I'd better avoid the AO section from now on! LOL
My boys are now fighting in the sand pit better go deal...
LOL Bath i sometimes wonder if anyone i know (that i dont know they are a member of BB) are on here and read some of my posts and thinkg WTF!
oh i hope your friends DH doesnt have apendicitis Mel ouchy....
Ive given myself a headache from so much coughing... had it for about 4days now, OB gave me some anti biotics i hope it rids me b4 powpow gets here cause the way i feel now i have zero energy and dunno how i'd even think about pushing!
Awww Nic, I had a really bad cough when I was preggers with Verity... it was awful and I worried that it was going to harm her in some way. The last thing you probably feel like doing is drinking lots of water but it will really help your body get over the infection. Hope you get over it soon! Oh and I know my sis is gonna think "WTF" you know when we all share the TMI stuff in here? It's that kind of stuff we don't often share... oh well... it'll be interesting! I think I need to tell her "what you find in BB stays in BB!" LOL I've bagged my mother so much in here i would dread it getting back to her.
Nic - I think the same thing, but I don't think I have found anyone I know - YET! My GF just rang and her DH will be in hospital for the next few hours so she still wants me to come for dinner. They do think he has it and might have to have his operation tonight. With 3 small kids, she can't hang around the hospital. I hope you feel better soon, nothing worse than being sick and pregnant.
Bath - I have never visited the AO section! Might have to check it out LOL!!! Hope you managed to sort out the sand pit squabble!
My SIL mentioned a thread on here and on my way home I went red, thinking "has she recognised me? Has she read any posts that I ought to be embarrassed about?"...I still don't know!
So tired today - went to bed after 3am after having faxed my assignment and Oscar got me up at about 9...bugger! Met with MG at the park and that was good, but I had to leave early to leave Oscar with my dad and then off to the osteo. Back here and now I"m tired.Blurgh... bed would be good!
Well that daughter of mine never ceases to amaze me. DH was just in her room putting nappies away, and she wondered in and patted her bed and said 'up', then she asked for her "me-me" (dummy) and put her self off to sleep. That is the first time that she has EVER asked to go to bed, mind you I was just on my way to do it, she just beat me too it.
thats so cute ali hehe!
i couple of times recent Nixon has gone and got his blankie and layed down on it, or ive said you ready for bed, he then walks to his room and tries to get into his cot!
funny little beings they are!
anyones toddlers have a fasination with the toilet?
we cannot leave the toilet door open because Master Nixon thinks its great to stick his hands in the bowl, play with the dunny brush or plonk things into the loo!
In the last week he has put several things into the toilet including his milk bottle........
my tupp manager rang me last night and met with a gf of mine, she decided to join! so thats 2 in 2 weeks and now i become an executive demonstrator! pretty exciting a few months back i thought i could never recruit anyone and now i have 2ppl on board. Half way to becoming a manager!
I'm back properly now! I've had 12 hours catch-up sleep, the boy is with his granny and I have lunch in front of me.
Ok, where to start: Nic - Oscar is a bin and loo boy, for sure! The loo door needs to always be shut and at the pool I prefer to use the regular shower cubicles over the disabled or family ones because he just explores the toilet and tries to get into those sanitary bins. As for bins, he will try to get into them and if he can't, he'll push them over. Especially when you're trying to get dinner ready. So the bin, more often than not, ends up in the laundry sink or on top of the washing machine!
Congrats on your new recruit! Once you get the hang of it you know when to pick the right time to bring it up and how to angle the proposition! Sorry I didn't get back to you about your host contacts, I didn't want to sit down and write a proper post until a) my assignment was done and b) I could keep my eyes open long enough. So now I have both and, yes, I would love to take on your hosts, that would be awesome! I got my big fat diary this morning and I am even more excited now. The possibilities are endless! I've been thinking of all the ways Tupperware fits into my life and values (cos I've had so many comments of "I just never pictured you as a Tupperware lady" and I've been trying to see where 'it's not me'...and can't find anything!) and everything I come up with is just another selling point In my opinion, Tupp sells itself, but I know that other people need a bit more education about it to be as convinced as I am! It will also pay for Oscar's swimming and extra-curriculars, as well as my aromatherapy bug I already have a party date (Geez, I love my friends!!) as well as my announcement party...already something for my diary! I also, today, got my exam dates, so they go in to keep those days clear. I'm sure we'll need a whole forum for Tupperware here on BB!
Mel - How's your friend's DH? How unexpected! I've changed my Monash appts for Mondays so that I don't miss out on MG meetings (I'm still not convinced how attached I am to my MG), so when I AM out that way for another reason, I'll let you know and we'll meet! I LOVE your av!
Ali - aaaarrrggghhh! How adorable! Oscar has been grabbing hands and leading everyone up the garden path...literally! But no words yet. He also, in the last few days, started to point at himself. He babbles and babbles furiously sometimes - he just wants some words! Is she better? Will you get your night out?
Amanda - have the runs cleared up?
I'm supposed to be listening to a lecture, so I think I'll clean the house some more whilst doing that - I sort of tune out the lectures if I'm posting here on BB!
Went into the city for DH's 20years (today)with the bank morning tea this morning... stuffed now... house a mess as usual.
Nic: Oh yes, Niall has had a thing for the toilets for months... basically as soon as he could crawl and pull himself up. It is driving me nuts. All my kids did it... just as you describe. problem here is that one toilet has a sliding door which he can open... the other one is in our ensuite which leads directly off his nursery and there is no door What I hate most is when he pulls the toilet roll off the hook and drops the whole thing into the toilet... and when he unravels it which happens at least once a week. Niall is also a bin boy... looks like an old tramp as he bends over right into it. *sigh* there's nothing for it but to wait it out... they eventually get over it... forget when, maybe at around 20 months? When Wade was at this stage he used to throw his dummy in constantly which woulkd really annoy me but I'd soak it in Milton for 24hrs and it was ok. But get this for gross: today after i got home I let the boys play outside for a while whilst I hung clothes on the line. They got filthy which was ok and expected so I showered them both when i had finished. So then i had 2 clean and fresh boys. I put on ABC kids for Wade and popped Niall in the porta cot. I had grand plans of doing a big tidy-up. A few minutes later i noticed a pooey smell from Niall so picked him up to sniff... in the process my fingers squished into it... UGH! I carefully pried open his nappy to see how more there was inside... but get this: there was none and the nappy was clean! It was a disposable and on properly, no gaping. How on Earth did the poo get OUTSIDE the nappy? There was nothing on the lambskin, a little inside his trackie pants which he had removed. Weird. The only thing I can think of is that i put on a pair of pants (that were lying on the floor near the change table) that DH had removed last night due to a poo accident and not told me. I went to DD's school last night for a concert with her... DH dealt with both boys. Anyhow, it was pretty demoralising after thinking Niall was nice and fresh and clean And now I've got the CBF's 'cos I swear everytime I lift a finger to try to do something around here i am sabotaged Honestly that's what it feels like these days: if I do anything my work is immediately undone so why bother... If I bothered to try to clean the ceiling the kids would find a way to muck it up within a day.... and I DO need to clean the ceiling above me because Niall recently reached up and grabbed DH's hot chocolate when he was sitting here one night and between them both the contents of the mug was flung upwards leaving a brown spray that needs to be cleaned up. Hmmm... ok now I have the guilts... I'LL DO IT then :P but mark my words....
Maya: I would love to buy some Tupperware, you are right, it sells itself, but I'm in "making do" mode as you know. Is there a website catalogue? I might check it out though...
Ali: Might be able to draft you up an avatar this weekend I'll email it to you for approval/modifications before sending it into AstroLady (Kath) for uploading. Glad you've decided to join the platinum club, look forward to seeing you in the plat threads
Nic Cody is another that loves the toilet and the bin, everyday once he's on the floor all the doors to the bedrooms, bathroom and toilet are closed (except his room) and the bin goes outside. But in saying that, this morning one of the boys left the toilet door open and when I went to go I found blocks in the loo. I also remember when Kailen was little he threw my mobile in there (not happy Jan).
Ali how cute of Tori, how is she feeling now?, yay on joining platinum can't wait to see your av.
Maya I'm crossing my fingers that it's all cleared up for now, glad to hear that you got to have a great catch up sleep.
Bath wow congrats to your DH on 20 years with his bank you must be so proud of him and how icky to only find poo on the outside of Niall's nappy.
Well yesterday Cody went quite and I was on the phone to my friend and I'd thought I better go and see what he's up to and found him fast asleep on my dirty washing, he must have been watching the load that was in the machine (we have a front loader). Then when I was giving him his feed before bed last night he had his normal amount and he threw it all up all over me and himself. I don't know if he's trying to wean or not as he use to take both sides but in the last few days he's only having one side plus he's just started to sleep thru the night in doing that he has dropped his night feed, will have to see how he goes.
Awww Amanda and Ali how cute are your little sweethearts! you can forgive them anything when they do something like that My two are currently making a snow storm with a box of tissues.... ah what the hell... it's keeping them occupied (they are playing nicely and squealing with joy) and the box was only a cheap brand... they've been at it for nearly 20 mins... worth $2 in my books!
