Tali - nothing wrong with wanting to be part of a community. Don't feel ashamed in feeling that way. Being part of a village is who we are and I hope that it comes to fruition for you...you guys deserve to be happy!

Nic - what you have done is such a lovely gesture and you should feel proud to have donated. Money is what they say they need and people are certainly giving it in droves. I am contemplating giving blood on Friday (never done it before!!!) and some friends and I have been collecting up baby things, blankets and one fantastic GF dropped over a huge bag of nappies and various toiletries such as tampons, pads, deodorant etc. Another friend is helping out at the Diamond Creek Community Centre where some of the victims are staying and she is going to take them in tomorrow afternoon.

Maya - you are more than welcome babe, you looked like you needed it and hope the chat cheered you up (laughing about our babies!!). If you do get a run, please stay safe. It is so amazing what people are doing to help out. Makes me very proud to be Australian, that "pitch in and help out" attitude.

Chelsea has been saying prayers everyday at school for the kids who have lost their toys. She even took out some of her soft toys and some books to give them. She thought it would be awful to have no books. Must be very hard for kids her age to understand what it all means.
