ok i need your opinion ladies.

DF's fathers partner is having a party for his birthday in a couple of weeks, i really dont want to go as lachlan is very unsettled (as we all know, look at todays episode!!)
Anyway i have said that i dont want to go. I know that if i do go he will get bundled around from person to person and i will spend the rest of the night in a bedroom trying to settle him and i wont enjoy myself.
DFs family are coming down in a few weeks for a bbq anyway so i will see them all then but do you think im being selfish, i just really dont want to go. I dont want to turn into a homebody but at the moment its impossible to go anywhere and have a good time. im sure it would be a different story if lachlan was a bit more settled (although i still wouldnt want him passed from person to person, he is NOT a toy, no one seems to understand this)
Am i being rude??
