The only time i seem to get fustrated with Lachlan is in the mornings, i think its cos all i want to do is sleep and i cant, but i dont get fustrated with him all the time either, just when he been whingy. I can handle when he is crying or is happy, just not whingy 1st thing in the morning. Like you said, it wont last, then i'll regret getting angry at him and that he is grown up to quickly.
It is amazing what our partners put up with, but then i think its payback, for all the crap of theirs we have put up with LMAO!!
My heart melts to when they hang on to you, its just the sweetest.
ooooo wow, congrats on Ashley sleeping so long, its great when they do that. And flat on her back too thats great.
I hear you about sore bb's, i remember that, thats one thing i dont miss about BF!! lol
Hey to everyone else, where are you all?? Hope you are all doing well and that you cute little bubba's are being good!!
Hellooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Taking a rare moment before having to be milky-moo-bar-mummy again!!
Oh Naomi & Princessmya!! You girls are so wonderful and amazing!! I am proud of you both with all that you are both sharing - you truly are wonderful mummies!! An dit is so true that it's all worth it when they give you the most precious snuggle - DD#2 nuzzles her face into my neck!! Awwwwwwwww
I've been having a really bad parent stint to the point I smsed DH and told him I suck at being mummy to our girls!!
DD#1 is really trying my weary brain with tears atm that I am finding my fuse is almost non existent it is that short!! But thankfully, have had the best day in a loooooooooooooong time today.....so am treading cautiously and hoping that we are onto something good.....:fingerscrossed:
DD#2 has decided to not go as long between her 10pm feed and the next now.....poo! She was going til approx 5.30/6am and now barely gets past 4/4.30am which I guess is great, EXCEPT I am awake from about 2am, listening to her snort and fuss but remain asleep! Feel like I have gone backwards and am getting less sleep again......bottom!
Just looked at time, will need to duck off and feed shortly so am hoping will bbl - which could be anytime in the lives of mummies with newborns hey?!?!
Although, funny thing today - am amazed I found it funny but DD#2 did SUPER-poo so had to do emergency bath!! OMG!! How far up her back it went!!!!! So instead of fussing with all bits'n'bobs that I usually get organised for bath time, just filled up bathroom sink and bathed her in that! She was so precious coz she watched my reflection in the mirror with big smiles!! Kinda like, "Thank you mummy for de-pooing me, feels much better, ta!!"
Anywhos, better dash, but like I said, hopefully will bbl......take care lovlies!!
Oh and naomi, you made me laugh when you said your munchkin was being a 'bum head'!!! ROFL!!!
Oh and would love to hear from you girlies who also have toddlers as well as your newborn.....coz like I said, I've been having a bad parenting stint that I even asked DH to keep DD#1 & I in separate rooms the other day coz just listening to her whinge and cry for no reason was making my brain fry!!!OR is it just me?!?!?!?!?!
Charly - I can only just manage with Lewis so I admire you having 2 little girls to look after! I'm sure you are doing a brill job. You mothers of 2 or more bubs deserve medals, I think Lewis will have to be at least 4 before I attempt to have another one!!
I am exactly the same as you though, I wake up and listen to Lewis's noises at least an hour before he actually wakes up! When DH asks me in the morning what time did he wake, I always make sure I tell him what time I woke up first so it sounds more dramatic!
Hi there ladies i know it has been a long time since i last popped in but man i feel as though i havnt stopped...August is a very busy month for us as it was DS 3rd birthday on the 3rd plus i won a holiday to Surfers Paradise next week so we are planning that and then its my nephews birthday and then mine so its all happening lol not to forget about the gorgeous little monsters i have making my life even more hectic!!
We have also come down with the dreaded cold and flu...Rylan gave it to Ashlyn when she was 4weeks old and they both have been so blocked up and snotty with terrible coughs and 4 weeks later its still hanging around actually it is getting worse again Rylan is on antibiotics and Ashlyn has to sleep with a vapouriser on she is so blocked up she throws up after her feeds...its terrible.
Ashlyn has been a bit up and down she doesnt have a sleeping pattern through the day just whenever im lucky lol and her feeding is pretty much the same could be 2 hours then 4 but she may only have 50mls then another time 150mls then maybe 100ml its just all over the show!! But i am very lucky because she has started sleeping through she may fall asleep anywhere between 7pm-9pm and wont wake until around 7ish!!! so i can deal with the crappy routine through the day lol
Charlyfrog i have to admit you are so not alone with the annoying habits of older siblings lol Rylan has just been ****ting me since Ashlyn came home he is so sooky and whingey and all i hear from him whenever i ask him to do something is "i cant" and fake crying..you know the real grating whingey cry that makes your skin crawl lol..plus he is loving her a bit too much whenever she is asleep he lays with his face in hers yelling Ashlyn, Ashlyn wake up wake up...grrrr plus he loves to lay on her and feel her wiggle under him he giggles and thinks its so funny...i am constantly saying get off her!! He isnt trying to hurt her but he just doesnt understand yet.
I feel like i am yelling at him all the time and constantly telling him to stop being naughty...so i know exactly how you are feeling.
Hopefully i can get back on her a bit more regularly but its all by chance so take care everyone and keep your chins up
