I feel your grumpiness and frustration. DH is so wonderful but in the mornings when i am sooo grumpy i let out my frustrations on him, i can be such a b*tch sometimes ... i dont know how our husbands put up with us. But they do, and somehow they understand we dont mean the things we say.

i try and be very aware when frustrated with dd crying, and find if i hold her close and tight it helps, like she kniws that i am tired and grumpy but not her fault iykwim. When i feel guilty and dd falls asleep with me and has her little hands hanging onto my shirt or necklace it makes my heart melt and i feel like all the sleep dep is worth it.

Hang in there - you are doing so well, just remind yourself it wont be like this forever. you did the right thing by taking a break and putting him where he was safe, letting him cry while you cool down wont hurt him.

Last night dd did the most amazing thing!!! After her bath at 6pm.... dh put her in her cot flat on her back, and she slept until 630am..... she has never done that!
mind you i was awake from 1 waiting for her to wake up and my bb's hurt like hell...lol
