It sounds like your labour was horrfiic. I couldn't imagine going through all that. I had Mackenzie in 2 1/2 hrs. My waters broke at home and I rang the hospital they told me to come in but they might send me home if I hadn't dialted. When they examined me I was 4 cm so they sent me up to the delivery suit. I thought it was going to take hours. The pain was so bad that Iasked for an epi. The midwife stuffed around and said it was to early for one. I was in so much pain that I beg my DH to go get her. The only thing she did was put the neddle in my arm ready for the drip. She gave me gas (which did nothing I might add). By this time my contractions are really close and full on. I had my best friend in there with me also along with my mum and sister. She decided to go out for a smoke and while she was gone I had this huge erge to push. My sister ran and got the midwife who said she is 10 cm start pushing. I said to the midwife um what about the epi and she said sorry its to late. I was not happy but in no state to argue with her. Well within 10 min Mackenzie was born. My best friend had missed it all!!!!
Cause Mackenzie had come so quickly my plecenta didn't come. They told me a hourmone is suppose to come and relaise it but didn't. They wait 2 hours and still nothing. They sent my up to theatre to get it removed. So after a drug free birth I get drugs to get the placenta out.

Mackenzie is 3 weeks old now and I can't imagine life without her now. She had another good night last night
