Kas-The 13/11 must be a good day to have a birthday if its your brothers, my friend also told me its her brothers and he was my 1st boyf when i was about 14. Hows your doggy going? on the mend i hope. At least you get to bring him home. Sounds like you are still very busy at home are feeling like you are finally getting somewhere?
mum2cheekygirl-Its so nice to hear that you are still feeling fantastic. I hope i manage to lose my baby weight and can soon join you in feeling like a hot mamma. I go in to have my CS a week tomo on the 13th so not long now. when do you arrive in perth? pm me if you are still wanting to catch up. i am about 15-20 mins away from karrinyup.
Jen13glad to hear you are no longer hobbling around. Congrats on getting Lucy into the preschool of your choice. I didnt know there where ones around that took them at such a young age. How often will she be attending? are they 1/2 or full days? I had to laugh when you said she is like her dad with talking. Everyone tells me thats why Mia talks so much, my DH is well known for his talking (he never shuts up)
Hello and sorry to anyone i've missed.
Well not much new news around here we are all keeping ok. Mia had a tummy bug last week but thankfully it only lasted for 12 or so hrs. Its looks like most of our playgrp had it. I dont know if its my lack of patience from been pg but Mia is driving me mad. Everything is a battle of wills between us at the moment and her favourite work is NO!! She is into everything and i keep finding my oven switched on! she also likes to empty my freezer and turn the telly on and off. Its got to the point i have to turn everything...dishwasher etc all off at the power points however today it appears she worked that one out. I think our biggest prob is that she is SOOOOOOOOOO independent. i cant do anything for her iykwim.
Well the pg is going ok i'm very over feeling so huge and uncomfortable and sick of ppl telling me i'm tiny when i feel massive. My MIl has even told me she thinks i have my dates wrong and thats why i'm sm. I dont really know how ppl can tell me i'm so much smaller than i was with Mia when at last weeks appt i weighed in 2kg heavier than i did full term with her. It will be interesting to see how i cope with having 2 little ones. I'm really starting to feel a bit snowed under and down so i'm hoping once bub is here i will start to feel better. I think i feel a bit guilty at knowing i will be leaving Mia whilst in hosp and then having the CS i am wondering how i will cope after.
Well i've rambled enough. Hope to hear from you all b4 my big day.
Nat

Hi Nat
Sounds like you are well and truly ready for your little one to come out, even if you are wondering how you'll cope. I'm sure some of the other girls have heaps of tips, Jen seems to have it all under control with her two little girls and I think I'll be just about the only one in our belly buddies group with only one!
Lucy is channelling all her switching energy into working the video player and TV in the bedroom, she can put her videos in and turn them both on now. There were only a few preschools that started from two years of age, Nat, but I figure she is ready for the socialisation and I'd prefer to send her to a preschool rather than day care. Cost is the same, but she'll keep going to the same place until school and they really do focus on school skills (not that day care doesn't, but it seems more structured). Teaching her another language is also a bonus. It is from 9-3, same as for a school, but we're only starting with one day a week. If she is coping well with that, we'll try and pick up another day during the year (kinda depends on an extra day being available, they're so booked out).
Must go, work to do!

To everyone who's been wondering how Liz and Tallon are doing...

hi all,
we've had a terrible week Mia has been very unwell so we have had a couple of days in hosy and several trips to the drs. We went back to the Drs today and she has finally been put on antibiotics so hopefully will only improve from here on. We were told she was having asthma attacks, then had a viral respiritory infect and conjunctivitis but today was told she has and ear and throat infection. Poor little thing has been off since tues last week and has made very little improvement.
I am going in tomo for the arrival of no 2 so wont be around much for the next week i assume. Well will let you know how i go on ASAP.
take care all
Nat

Hi Nat!! Good luck for tomorrow - we'll be thinking of you and waiting eagerly to hear of your birth announcement.
Poor little Mia, I hope she is feeling better (and what terrible timing to have such a sick toddler). I hope having a baby sister perks her up. Best wishes for the c/s and hope you recover quickly.
-
Hi Nat, I hope all went well on tuesday and you are all enjoying your new little princess. I can't wait to hear all about it. Take care!
Well Jacson (the dog) is now home safe and sound. He is still hobbling around but what would you expect after this type of surgery! He is confined to a 3m x 3m pen and is not allowed to be walked or anything until after his stitches come out and he gets the all clear from the vet next friday. It is so nice to have him home but kinda weird seeing as though he hasn't lived with us since the week before Liam was born.
Liams vocabulary is exploding. He is now trying to copy most words we say to him and thinks he is so clever. Thankfully we only get a head shake for no and he hasn't actually worked out how to say it yet. When Brad started with it he just went on and on and used it for everything.
Thats all from me, hope you are all doing well.
-
Hope everything went well for you Nat, Congrats on your little girl. Can't wait to hear all about her!
hi to all, hope mums and bubs are happy and healthy and geared up for Christmas, which is coming upon us so fast! Where has the year gone???????

Huge congratulations Nat, on the arrival of your baby girl Molly! I love her name and it sounds like you are doing really well. Hope Mia is coping with being a big sister as well. Does your DH have much time off work?
Looking forward to hearing how it's all going!
Hi to everyone else! Have heaps of work to do so will be back later to do personals.
-
HI everyone,
sorry no time for personals just a quckie to let you know we are all coping well with the new baby at home. Mia is still not 100% poor little devil has had a really rough couple of weeks with been in hospital then with mummy been in and now having to compete for attention with new bub, she must really be wondering what is going on. She seems to be coping quite well and Molly is so far an angel baby only waking to feed so Mia is still getting lots of my attention. The only notable change in Mia is that she has been rejecting milk so no more bottles which is making sleep time that tiny bit harder but i'm sure in a week or so she will have settled. I am pleased she has given the bottles up on her own but would still like her to have the milk but even if i get it out to put in my tea/coffee she says no and gets upset.....strange as it has always been a comfort for her in a bottle b4 bed and when she is grumpy etc. So far she is not too jealous by Molly but she does want to hold her all the time and gets upset when i wont let her if i'm feeding.......its Molly's attention she wants not mine.
Well they are both starting to stir from naps so i best be off.
-
CONGRATULATIONS again Nat and Welcome to the world Molly!
Well Liam and I are done with booby feeds. We stopped on Sunday night (21 months old to the day). He swapped over to his drink bottle with milk in it with no worries. I had been contemplating stopping for a few weeks but needed time to adjust. He has not asked for it nor tried to get to it whilst having milk and snuggles before bed so he too was ready.
Nothing else to tell, hope you are all well.
ETA - Liam finally got the bottom tooth 2nd on the right hand side a few days ago!
-
Hi kas
Congrats on getting Liam to 21 mths bfing! You must be a little sad as well as proud of him making the transition to being a big boy. Well done to you! I know I'll be a little sorry to see Lucy dropping bfing all together, it seems like they grow up so fast! Altho atm she's still having two a day (and asks for more when she isn't feeling well), so I think we have a little while to go yet.
Lucy had a play day at preschool this morning and had a ball. She's totally exhausted and sleeping right now. Painting was a bit of a hit, as was the sandpit. I think she'll like going along next year.
Hope you and your girls are doing well Nat.
Hi to everyone else!

Hi Steph - how are you guys doing?? Any news on the tubal ligation reversal? What about the TTing? Hope everything is going well for you all. Thanks for the congrats, we feel really good getting this far. I am aiming for two and anything beyond that is just a bonus (what with all the colds and things she'll get at preschool!).
Nat - hope you and Mia and Molly are doing well.
Jen - hope you're having a great holiday! How did the girls go with all of the extra attention?
Liz - hope Tallon and Kayla are doing well. How is Tallon adjusting to being a big brother?
Kas - hope the house is coming along and your dog is getting better.
Hi to everyone else! I start summer school at uni tomorrow for a couple of weeks so I might be a bit quiet while I try and get all of that done as well as still work!

Hello All
Sorry i wont be doing personals today my head is in the clouds- feeling severly sleep deprived.
Well we are all doing ok generally though we have had (are having) a tough week. Someone has taken my angel Mia and replaced her with a green eyed monster (to be expected i know but still hard) She loves her new little sister but has become soooooo naughty i dont know what to do with her. I am trying to be more tolerant than normal though not easy when i am tired. I know its only due to her adjustingto having to shar mummy and daddy but its still very tough. My DH lost his cool with her yesterday and put her in time out which is a first for him he is normally the softie. I am trying to give her as much attention as possible and hoping that it passes really soon. On a brighter note we have now had 2 wees on the toilet. I have not encouraged TT but obviously she is getting ready. She takes her pants/skirts etc off all the time and bangs on the toilet door saying "up" i take her nappy off and let her sit on it. 90% of the time she wont do anything but sit and then put some paper into the bowl before getting off and flushing. She does think she is sooo grown up very cute. However as i have said twice now we have had wee's in it. Even at an indoor playcentre this week she tried to take her nappy off and then wee'd so i guess she is telling me she is ready. I just wish i felt ready iykwim.
Well Molly is doing well and we are still BFing well so i'm happy about that however the last 2 days she has suddenly gone form 3-4hrly feed to 1.5-2hrly around the clock so i am utterly exhausted. Had a very tearful day yesterday but in slightly better spirits today.
Will try and do some personals soon. Take care all.

Hi Girls, LONG LONG POST!
Gosh i have missed out on heaps while i have been away!!!!
First of all a HUGE BIG CONGRATS TO
NAT - On the birth of Molly
Liz - On the birth of Kayla
Welcome to the world of juggling two kids! I must say i love it and am so happy we had the girls so close together yes it is extremely busy but at the same time i find it to be so rewarding and they make me laugh and smile everyday. i am sure you both feel the same way. Enjoy every moment and if you need any tips just post.
Jen13- The holiday was great, I have uploaded pics on facebook for you to see.The flight home though was a nightmare :( they would not turn the lights out till half way through the flight so Miss T was beside herself poor little thing.(this wa at 2am in the morning by this stage.) Apart from that everything else was so smooth running, they both kept there routines and it was all happy times. Back home now and into the same routine and swing of things. Glad to be home but not liking this heat and humidity it has been outragous up here never been this hot here before GLOBAL WARMING i suppose! Wow i take my hat off to you as well for breastfeeding this long!
Kas - you have done extremely well darl yes it must be sad for you but a huge well done to the breastfeeding as well. I hope your dog is better and enjoying his 3 x 3 pen. Poor thing!
Ok so i thought i would tell you all an update on our lives etc. As you all no we have been away for a month or so and thouroghly enjoyed it. My DH got another ring made up for me to say he loves me nso much it was a rhodolite we got in Africa red/pink large stone and two diamonds either side it is MY Rock I must say and i love it to pieces. Since we have been back life is back to normal the business is just crazy and not enough time in the day or the end of the year we aren't complaining though as money money money. We had Miss T's Xmas party at daycare the other night and her boyfriend and her were dancing and holding hands and carring on it was so cute to watch. Miss T is also talking like there is no tomorrow as in words coming out left right and centre and she babbles in sentances which i don't understand but she seems too. LOL! Miss S is coming along in leaps and bounds already trying to crawl and should be by at least 6 mths she is getting her teeth cutting through as well they do say the second one develops fatser than the first they have got that one right so far. Ahhhhh!!!! Miss S is also scoffing down solids like there is no tomorrow which is great as well i started her last Monday on them as she really wanted them, the mouth opens and woosh down they go. So cute to see again. Miss T i have not even started to TT yet she is though taking the nappy off and all of that but i think i will wait till after Xmas at least.
Ok so i have to brag now as it felt so good to have most of our family and friends tell us this. When we were in Perth all the parents of other little kids told how wonderfully bought up our children were and how good they are as well as cute they all would ask for tips and how the hell we manage to do this so i took this as a huge compliment and obviously we are doing a great job at raising the girls. Mind you our friends with kids had little boys about Miss T's age or older 3 yrs were full on and i mean Full on! I did say to them yes this may change though Miss T has not hit 2 yet. lol. Ok enough of my bragging i am sure you all have had compliments as well god it made me feel even better to be a mother.
So what has everyone planned for Xmas and has everyone done the shopping and wrapping of pressies yet? I must say i am very organised this year for once and it is finally all done i even have the Christmas tree up, and sent out the Xmas cards. I cheated though as i did most of it before we left for Perth as i new it would be a mission when we got back :p.
Anyway ebough of my long long posts i hope everyone is really well and hopefully i will get on here again soon.
Jen

Jen13 ~ No news on the TLR - it is going to take a while for us to save the money; it is going to cost around 10 grand. Mainly cos I am going to travel interstate so that a guy who specialises in reversals via laporoscope can do it. I can't have reversal where they open the whole scar up because I have already had 3 ops on that scar. They recommend you only have 4 c-sections on the one scar and the reversal would count as one. But not to worry - I am thinking that maybe I can fall pregnant regardless of the tubal clipping???? I know wishful thinking but it does happen a lot. I spoke to this women who had her tubes cut and burnt and she fell pregnant two years after. It was amazing - the doctors were speechless she said. You never know , lol, I could get lucky and be the 1 in 500 who does fall after a TL. That would be awesome! As for the TT we are starting DS2 over Christmas. DS1 has definitely got the hang of it but did have an accident yesterday, the door was closed and the handle is too high for him to reach - we usually just leave the door open a crack so that he can get in easily. Your Lucy is growing up quickly by the sounds of it - off to preschool and everything! Is she Miss Independent?
Mum2cheekygirl ~ You're little girls sound like they are going along strong - that is wonderful. And you are right to feel proud to have compliments on raising you're babies, you sound like you are doing a terrific job. It is nice to be told things once in a while from outsiders then you get another perspesctive on how you're going.
One thing that has always stuck with me was that my grandfather (my boys great grandfather) told me that he knew I did a good job with my boys because when children are well looked after they are happy. Sometimes they are full on but they are very happy and most of the time well behaved. I sometimes don't think us mums give ourselves enough credit. I feel proud of myself that I strictly limit the amount of junk food that my boys eat. They get their little treat of a freddo frog after we go shopping every fortnight but they don't get much else from that food group. No potato chips or fizzy drinks or anything with too much sugar...I realised the lack of junk when DS1 school gave out a magnet that had a guide to healthy eating on it. I had never really thought about buying them junk food so it was good too read that I was doing the right things when it came to their diets. Now if only I can get DS2 to have a wider variety of foods in his diet.....
I would like to hear something that you're all proud of about raising your kids. We need to build each other up in the area of parenting; sometimes we can all feel like we might be making mistakes but I am sure the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Hi ladies, I can see that you have all been as busy as I seeing as there are no posts for almost two weeks. Things going well here . Liam has four molars now the last appearing just this week and i am guessing the other one we were waiting on about a week or two ago. I think Liam is going to be my wild child. A friend asked te other day how he compared to Brad at a similar age and it made me think....even whilst struggling through with the arthritis at the time i think Brad was a bit easier and not as full on. Speaking of Bradley...we have his birthday party with his school friends on thursday at hungry jacks...that should be 23 of them yelling screaming and being i am very sure ever so loud!!! at least I get to go home to a clean and quiet house. Then we have his birthday on friday along with his school xmas concert that night and then friends and family party on Sunday. So at the moment i have just taken tomorrows cake out of the oven so all i need to do tomorrow is ice it (spiderman....thanks son!) and finish the lolly bags which are not going to be that exciting as they realy don't need that much. I can't believe he will be 6, the time has flown and before i know it Liam will be two in about 9 or 10 weeks!?!?!? Oh yeah and to top off all that, on friday i need to go for a biopsy for a freckle thing on my nose that the surgeon thinks may have turned into a skin cancer and if so will need to be removed.
I am so over the silly season! At least 1/3 of our custmers are cranky and rude. What is it with people at this time of year? Its like some of them don't realize that xmas comes around every december and that expecting miracles in retail to happen is just kidding themselves! Ahhhh now with that off my chest i am sure i can get through another week and a bit of working in xmas retail madness and then another week of sales before its all back to normal. Spare a thought for the sales assistants you see this silly season...please!
OK gotta go the cake is ready to put away and i am off to bed.
