Think I must be a little overtired, as I can't sleep. Plus there is a party behind us, which is kinda not helping. Cameron, my dog and DH don't seem to mind though, they are all snoring there heads off.
Girl- We have a playing station, which is similar to a walker I suppose, but it doesn't move, just spins around- i've seen it in Target, but we were given it from my cousin. I've only put Cameron in there the once so far, as he just can't hold himself up long enough, and i didn't want to damage his back as he leans so far forward. My cousin put her son in it, and he loved it and has no problems, but I would say just limit the use - kinda like everything, use in moderation.
MisTree - Glad Seth behaved himself with you today. It makes going out so much more of a pleasure then a scary adventure when they are so good like that. I know what you mean about the funny and disturbing positions ours babies get themselves into when in their bed. I can't help but giggle when I go in, and that usually makes Cameron giggle and smile to. Many times now I have found Cameron on his tummy and turned 90degrees - he looks so comfy that I think he does it on purpose now (not the accident I thought it might have been), he has done it at every sleep today.
NaNa - Cameron also did that same trick Friday morning, he too had turned around and had his head under the sheet (like he was trying to keep the sunlight out of his eyes). I am thinking about not putting that top sheet on anymore, as he seems to always kick it off or end up the other end of the cot anyway. I would hate for him to have it over his mouth/nose and couldn't breath. Glad the trip is back on for you, my cousin is also off to Africa (I think somewhere in South Africa) for 5 weeks over Xmas, I know how much they are looking forward to it (especially after the pregnancy loss).
Well today we did the usual swimming lesson. Cameron was good today, had had a good 2hr sleep this morning, so wasn't grumpy. Got home, gave him a quick shower then a feed, then put him to bed where he slept for 3hrs. He possibly only woke because I opened the door and walked in to check on him rather loudly, as we had only done 3 feeds at that point, and it was already almost 5pm, this is where I would like to know if 4 feeds would have been enough for today, as I'm sure he would have slept a little longer.
It's so hard fitting in 5 feeds sometimes when he is sleeps so well, as he wakes at 7 (although once again this morning I had to wake him about 7.15 as he was still sound asleep), so they only way we can do 5 feeds if we try to feed every 3 hrs give or take. But sometimes he doesn't want to feed (he is stubborn and only eats when he wants to, definitely not a comfort feeder), and it ends up being 4hrs+ between feeds, which make that wake up feed rather late.
Well getting a little more sleepy now (that TiaMaria and milk has kicked in I think) and it seems like the party behind has gotten a little quieter. Might try to get some sleep - as it is a big day for us tomorrow as we will give the farex a go (it feels like a milestone, my little boy is ready to try solids - i think, where did my newborn go?)
