Girl... If your BF then no need for water as breast milk comes in 2 types.. fore milk is thinner milk like water for thirst and then after that the milk gets creamier and thicker for hunger... Formula only come in 1 thickness which is why bubs generally go longer between feeds(it fills them up more) which is why formula fed babies need water.
Water wont hurt her but its not a necessity. I was told to offer water during night feeds to discourage waking at night but were not doing that.
Just ddnt understand this part... Why are you mad at yourself...What naive thinking. I am so mad at myself. I wondered why she wanted to feed during the night so much. I feel so guilty for not listening to myself in the beginning. I should have followed my motherly instincts and ignoring everything and anything else.
