Roses: The lay down feed is the only thing that lets me get some sleep in. He feeds, I sleep!

Nat: hope your supply is doing better. Mine was late coming in, but the baby sucking all the time really helped it go up.

I'm doing okay -- Jonah's inability to sleep anywhere but the boob and the fact that he sometimes wakes up right after he falls asleep at the boob is combining to create sleep deprivation for me. If he wakes up, he just has to wait until the next feed before he can fall asleep again. And he feeds quite aggressively so I can't just top up a few minutes after his last feed, he starts spitting it it back up! I'm hoping that once he's a bit older -- he's just three and half weeks old!-- he'll start being able to sleep when he's tired. Right now, he yawns and looks at me with sleep coming out of his eyes and ears and mouth but simply cannot sleep! Plus, he does not seem to like being swaddled or maybe I'm not doing it right.
