sheree - well done lachlan for being a brave boy! You must be so relieved to have tht out of the way. Thankyou so much for sharing your health stories with us, i have just started experiencing shooting pain occasionally in my right breast, having just come off the pill last minth i have been putting it down to hormones as well, thanks to you sharing your experience i will now keep a close eye on it and check for lumps more regularly JIC. Goodluck with your mammogram and scan, probably is nothing important but better to be on the safe side, hey. I have heard a lot about the sexually transmittted virus you have in your cervix and how common it is, don't they think that as many as 80% os us have it without knowing? Anyway thanks very much for sharing and i hope those pesky cysts dissappear soon.

jodie - OMG i am absolutely PMSL!! I wonder if he actually liked the cat food?! Glad he didn't get sick, its amazing what kids will put into their mouths!

sara - goodluck with the needles, hopefully Briley will be as brave as Archie and Lachlan were, its great that you have Brent there for support, im sure she'll be fine though. it is fricken freezing down here too!

We are currently on a dial up plan of 40hours a month, i have changed it to unlimited as of eleven days time, but til then i only have 5 hours left, that is just not enough for me!! If i go over it is $3.95 an hour though! So not fair the internet is my lifeline as i don't have a car yet. Archie is just starting to watch telly, i put ABC kids on in the mornings and last night he woke from his afternoon sleep really grumpy and i couldn't get him out of it so i put Shrek on and he sat and watched it for 45mins! Sorta felt guilty cause i don't believe in sitting kids in front of the telly all day, oh well he'll live im sure

Don't know about Jodie, but it's blowing a gale and pouring here! prob btwn 6-8degrees? Good luck with Briley's needles today.

Oh Leanne that's not great news is it? Is she feeling positive though?

Sheree I have that virus too and I felt exactly the same way when they told me (considering I had only had one partner when I found out), but it does occur naturally in some people. The regularity of the pap smears will settle down though. I had one every six months for well over 4 years bllecchh! He's still not great in the eating deparment eh? Goodluck with the mammogram.

All I can say Jodie is "GROSS!!!" What can we do though? I left Darcy for 5seconds the other day and she managed to find a half eaten bowl of yoghurt and apples, got it down and dug in. There was yoghurt everywhere, but not one apple escaped lol.

Hope you got your rubbish cleaned up Elissa! Eww to that too.

Pleased to report we had a much better night last night - though since I've done 'night duty' three nights in a row I wasn't the slightest bit tired until 2.30 this morning! grrr I'll pay later though.

kim - hope you are having an afternoon sleep ATM!

Ouch sorry if this is TMI but i think i have heamerroids. I was really lucky not to ever get them during pg or after the birth (don't know how i got away with that after pushing for 2.5 hours!) but now they seem to have finally caught up with me, doh! Well thats my exciting news for the day sorry for grossing you all out

Thanks for sharing Elissa hehehe AAAAhhhhhhh I would die if I had restricted internet access. When I went overseas for 6 weeks, I had withdrawal symptoms. Every time we visited someones house, I would ask if I could use their internet. And spent a fortune at internet cafes! We have 5 computers in our house - and 5 internet connections (my hubby is a cabler).

Actually Kim... it's a reasonably nice day here in Melbourne. My cousin (who is in Newcastle) sent me photos of the ship that ran aground in Newcastle. WOW. Quite a sight!

Shaun has been asleep for hours... and he slept right through the night last night! Finally. He was exhausted - and so was Yariv & I. I couldn't handle another night of him waking up every 3-4 hours. They say that sleep generates sleep - so maybe his long sleep last night has caused his long morning nap. I've made his lunch, and I'm just waiting for him to wake up to eat it.

Lots of eBay stuff has been picked up. So I've got to get organised and get more stuff online! And clean my house, and do my bookwork.... nah... I'll just sit on my 'puter all day and chat to my friends on msn!!

BTW - CHECK OUT SHAUNS PHOTOS - I FINALLY UPDATED THEM LAST NIGHT !!!!

I think I want to cry

Not only am I physically and emotionally drained, but I have just picked up my sick daughter from daycare. Pooh and spew everywhere, and my DH's working until late.

Elissa I think I have them too. How do you know for sure I don't want to ask DH to look there.

ohhhh nothin worse then a sick kid that is for sure! Hope you are both better soon.

Kim - he isn't bad bad like before, just up and down with his eating really, we had a good patch in the last month but he is slowly not showing alot of interest again! I do just have to face it that he is always going to be small and he doesn't love food like me, but sometimes when he screams at me and doesn't want to eat it really gets me down, but I just have to remember where we were and it is not that bad. I do get very frustrated and I guess it is just because of where we have been and I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK THERE! I just couldn't believe how much he was eating a month ago, it was truely unbelievable, must have had a growth spurt but in saying that he put on like 20grams in 5 weeks so god only knows why he is slowly showing less interest again. But on a good note I tried him with egg custard last night, because he is so fussy it becomes very hard to find variety in food especially seeing as we can't have milk products, but I got desperate and tried it and no effects so far...... So I am hoping and praying that we have turned another corner and he has grown out of his milk intolerances. God that would just be bliss to me!!!!

Oh and also elissa np with sharing my story I have been a little ashamed, but thanks Kim for reassuring me with ur story too, I don't feel so bad now. I didn't know how everyone here would react.

Going to have an early night, I am really tired by the weekend, going to give the paperwork a miss tonight.

Lachlan went to sleep on the bottle tonight he was absolutely knackered, he is hardly crawling at all atm, so thinking that is really waring him out now. He even left 100ml and he never does anymore. He loves his milk.... for a kid that never use too it is really quite weird! Thinking about reducing his first wake up milk too cause he is really hard to feed breakfast atm, wonder if that will help?

    Night everyone.

Ooohh Leanne!! And they left her like that at daycare?!?!?! I wish it wasn't 11 o'clock and I wasn't reading before going to bed because I would have come over. PS If you have a feel you'll know - I know gross, but it's better than someone else doing it.

Ha no worries Sheree! I have way more embarrassing gynae stories i could make you feel better with - I got a dud lot in that department. That's something positive with the egg custard I guess...did he like it?

He appeared to like it as it was something new, but still need distraction atm, putting lots of different things for him to play with in his hands so he doesn't think about it all too much.

Well this is the third whole day it has rained non stop - woohoo. Glad for the farmers but man. Newcastle has been declared a natural disaster zone, DH looks like heading up there later. Could be interesting as bits of the highway have collapsed.

We're having a garage sale at mum's next weekend so I dragged all the stuff downstairs earlier as the weather had eased off and I thought I'd get out and take it over - now the weather's about 1000 times worse and I have an entry/hall full of crap!

DH came home early yesterday and didn't do the planned overtime because he had a tantrum. I told him he had to stay there today and do it cos we desperatley need the money. He was being so dumb last night I went to the stamping party I wasn't going to go to - had a good time too.

Hope everyone's weekend is better than ours!

ETA not only is it freezing here, but a pantless Darcy (who is reading a cooking magazine and turning every page with a 'yummy!") is sitting guarding the door to her bedroom and holding the remote to the fan to ransom. SHe won't let me turn the buggar off!

OMG Darcy sounds like such a crack up Kim!! Your DH sounds sooo much like mine, mine has been known to have a tanty and come home "sick" from work. I went up to Westfield before with most of the district and had to park on the roof in the rain. It took 20 minutes to get out of the carpark afterwards too so I was pretty pooey.

Yeah thought about doing that too, but naaah too hard.
I think she's a hoot! Her favourite new phrase is "I'll get it!"1 before she chucks whatever shes holding on the floor. Also I have to spray her with deoderant, perfume and put cream on her face too when we're in the bathroom cleaning our teeth0..6102 The numbers are from Darcy.
And you should see the look she gets when she's going to fart....then she does this big grin and laughs. LOL wasn't me wh taught her that.

    Hi girls!

Well the needles went ok. She did cry (and so did i!) but she was ok when they brang out the lollypops! I have noticed thought that the needles did affect her walking though. Who else said something like that??? She kept falling over! She is tired but fine today.

I am ok. Think i might be coming down with ANOTHER cold though! I am sick of tired of colds, coughs and flu's!

Sorry for the lack of personals! I will be back online later maybe!

    Hope you are all well!

Hi Kim saw your MSN message but just got home. My Oma turned 85 yesterday so we all had dinner at a cafe. It was so nice. It was one of thost cafes in a garden centre, and my aunty knew the chef so it was kept open just for us. So intimate and nice. And it felt weird walking in the kitchen and grabbing what you liked etc.
Anyway, we're off to CAnberra tomorrow so better go and get a few things packed.
We picked a great weekend for it eh?
    Hope all is well.

I love those cafes Leanne, Flower Power at Glenhaven has a great one with a children's playground inside it.
Hope everyone is having a good long weekend and the weather is better in other states! We are going to my aunty's 50th today in Lithgow so are in for a long drive. It will be freezing there too!!
Sara- hope you are feeling OK and not doing too much!
Kim- did DH have to go to Newcastle? We saw police on duty at intersections on Pennant Hills rd yesterday cause the lights were out and I felt so sorry for them standing in the cold and wet.
Sheree- hope Lachlan is eating more for you, its stressful isn't it ? My first DD had a lactose intolerance but grew out of it by 1yr. Is the virus that you have the one they are now vaccinating teenage girls against? (HPV I think its called) Apparently heaps of women have it but don't know, please don't be embarrassed, its just another joy of womanhood LOL
Jodie- how is the m/s going? and the packing?? (what else are you selling on ebay?)
Elissa- heaps of my mother's group had 'roids ( we used to say they got roid rage LOL) they all tried heaps of different over the counter treatments but one I know ended up with a prescription one which worked for her. Don't feel guilty about putting Archie in front of the TV, at least it was kids shows, where I taught long ago they would put their kids in front of the most dreadfully inappropriate TV shows and let them watch all the late night movies. We could tell every Monday in the playground if the Sunday night movie had been violent by the way they played.
Riley has to have his needles on Tuesday, I hate taking him I feel so mean! My mum took Jess for all of hers cause I hate needles so much (and I am a wimp LOL)
Better go and give Riley some more breakfast than a crust of raisin toast LOL he is trying to destroy the room around me in the hope of getting attention I think.

Hi Christine, yeah off memory I believe that is what it was called HPV. Truely there is a vaccine now, wow! Yeah my doctor assured me that about 90% of women have this virus and most don't even know, so that made me feel better. Pregnancy for me made the virus not so dormant anymore, could have had it for years apparently. And yeah it is a struggle with food for Lachlan but no way near as bad as before, but at that stage it was extreme, so I have to be thankful, just that he is dropping in percentiles again, nearly below the 3rd again and he is a tiny 8.3kgs, but he is still active and healthy looking so hopefully it is just another phase, we seem to have good patches, just the bad ones outway the good most of the time. So so so frustrating!

But hey gals I tried him on yoghurt this morning. So we have tried custard for 3 days and decided to go the yoghurt. I am a little scared as the yoghurt was the problem at 5mths that started his really bad drinking 10-20ml at any given feed and that was when he was tube fed. Cross ya fingers for me that he is well past all that and the yoghurt has no effect!

    Have a nice day Kim.
