Well.. today I put Shaun in the living room to play with his toys. And I was chatting to a friend on msn in my 'office'. I heard some unusual noises so I went to see what Shaun was up to. OMG.... I had obviously not shut the security gate properly, and he had got into the kitchen. And had got INTO the cat food!!!! The dry food was everywhere, the water bowl was tipped up, and the tinned food container was.. empty!! But when I picked him up - he was wet - and smelt of fish !! He had that "cat that ate the canary" look on his face (or in this case: kid that ate the cat food). He had a nap shortly after, drinking his milk. And he was a bit cranky in the evening - but he had barely slept all day - so I think he was tired. But I phoned the Nurse on Call line - and they checked it out and said he should be fine. If he appeared to be sick (vomitting) then I should see a doctor. But if he wasn't sick, he would be fine.
Well... I've learnt a lesson today! And hopefully he's learnt that the cat food doesn't taste too crash hot.
