    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ALL!!!

Jay bought me the most perfect pair of earrings from Melbourne, they were just so me, i was really impressed, he said he spent all day looking for something special and those earrings jumped out at him, but, last night i took them off and sat them on the heater and forgot about them, Archie was the first one up this morning and the earring are no where to be found....how awful do i feel....hoping they will turn up somewhere eventually....

    Hey ELISSA,

My house keys went missing for about a week (luckily I only just took the car keys off the same key ring that day )

... and I just ' knew ' Cendrine must have got her hands on them

Anyway, DP found them way down the side of the couch just the other day

MAYBE CHECK THERE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY

I thought the same thing as you ELISSA... YEP, they will turn up somewhere (hopefully sooner rather than later ... Let US know as soon as you find them)

    ... Hope you ALL had a SUPER-MUMMY'S DAY (I sure did ) !!!!!!

    Happy Mummies Day everyone.

I was expecting flannelette pj's today, but my dear hubby and darling Katy bought me a pandora bracelet. I cried!
I have had a busy day making lunch for my mum and looking after katy still, but the bracelet has made it all worth it.

Hope you find the earring Elissa. Maybe ask Archie where he put it. He may answer.
I am off to make a hot chockie and off to bed.

lorelle - glad to hear you had a great Mothers Day. I have already checked the couch im afraid, we reckon they are inside the heater somewhere, prolly never see them again, will try though.

Leanne - aw, the bracelet is so sweet, i got one for xmas, but i always forget to wear it, not a huge jewellery wearer since being a SAHM. We asked him several times, once he told me it was in the garden, but he was just making up a game of hide and seek, he said they were in the curtains earlier, so i will check them out in the morning.

Happy Mother's Day for yesterday! Hope you all had a great day. I got 2 little boxes of chocolate, we are leaving for Melb on Wednesday so I guess I didn't really expect anything more. Jayden painted a pot plant at one day care and coloured in some things at the other day care.....they were very sweet!

Anyway might pop in before I leave for Melb but otherwise have a great week/weekend

Have a gr8 trip Tania. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

Well we are moved, well kinda, still lots of boxes to unpack and Wade and I nearly got divorced (even though we are not married LOL). Gosh how draining and stressful. A shocking job when you are not pregnant let alone when you ARE!!! Oh well we survived - JUST!!!

Now our BAS is way overdue and the accountant is on our backs so best get this done before I unpack anymore. If I didn't have that riding on my back I wouldn't be so stressed!

Oh and Sara - I don't mind you asking - that is fine.

Happy Birthday to Katy and Darcy - hope you both had fab days - sorry I wasn't around to post on the day.

Happy Mothers Day too, to all of my wonderful friends. I bought myself a pair of earings (half price at $188). It was that or get nothing, hehe, actually nooooo Wade did bring me home some Darrell Lea Choccies from the Shop.

Anyway sorry about the lack of personals lately, things are more then hectic, but just wanted to pop in and say hi and I miss you all.

    Take care all

    xoxo

christine - How sweet of Jess to get you a charm to represent your mum, How exciting that you will be home owners soon! Gosh, i hope he hasn't swallowed them cause i haven't been sifting through his poo and he had about 5 poos yesterday LOL!

tania - mmmm chocolate, have a good time in Melbourne

sheree - woohoo, go Lachlan!! I hope the move is all over and done with very soon, unpacking is better than packing though i reckon.

Oh, my poor husband, he has had this awful haemorroid for ages and has had a few days off work because of it, so he finally made an appointment to get it checked. He was totally freaked at the thought of having to bare his bum to somebody LOL! Anyhow, turns out he has to have surgery this morning to get rid of it, he is so scared, dropped himoff at the hospital at 8am. He has a VERY important job interview on Friday in Adelaide (4 hours sitting in the car each way), and he's freaked that there will be complications with the op and he wont make it to the interview. We seem to be going through another patch of bad luck atm. So now he does't have any sick leave til December!

I had a REALLY bad mummy moment last night. Archie would not go to sleep and he was just being extremely naughty, i lost it to the point where i really wanted to smack him as hard as i could. I ended up yelling at him and dragging him to his bedroom and slamming the door. I actually had thoughts of, why on earth did i ever want a child. I am glad i had the sense to put him in his room rather than hit him though. I just realised that this is PMS week so i'd say that had a lot to do with my complete lack of patiece and understanding.

Enough rambling from me for one morning

Elissa - don't beat yourself up over it. I guess we all have our moments. Poor Jay, hope the op goes well. And yes and no that unpacking is easier, it is the moving the heavy stuff and placing it in parts of the house and the fighting that goes with it I hate. So labour intensive and I just can't do it, although I have been naughty.....

    Morning Girls!

Hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day! Mine was'nt overly special cause I had half a hangover and was majorly sleep deprived! We went out to dinner that night though. Briley made me a kindy present which was beauitful. It was a frame with canvas on it and she had painted on it. It was quite funky!!! They also made a card with a star cut out on the front and a picture of Briley in the star. It was so more than I expected. And really the best mothers day pressie I could've asked for!

Elissa - Awww those earrings sounds beautiful. I am so sorry they have gone missing. Have you thought about going to a psychic and asking them where they are??? Or even sending an email to the ones out of the magazines like Womans Day etc. I hope they turn up soon hun. Oh poor Jay! I know how bad heamorroids can be! I've actually still got some loose skin down there from pushing into my bottom while I had them. Sometimes when I strain to hard on the toilet my bottom bleeds. I am wondering whether i should get mine checked out. They are'nt painful, just there. Sorry if TMI hun! Don't worry about your bad mummy moment, I've been having them a bit lately. Briley has been chucking major tantrums lately and somtimes i just can't deal with them! Funny how I always do though. Keep your chin up hun, the bad times always pass!

Tania - Have a great trip hun! Your pressie sounds as good as mine. We are at the age now where we will be getting the scribbles from kindy sent home and then posted on the fridge for months!!! Too cute!

Sheree - YAY LACHLAN!!!! Thats great he is sleeping in a big bed AND pooing on the potty. Big achievements! Glad to hear the move is over. Moving is so stressful is'nt it. Glad you bought yourself something lovely for mothers day! I'm treating myself to a new hair do next tuesday. I was meant to go today but we can't afford it this week! Sorry to hear things are hectic. I hope you get on top of everything soon!

Christine - Awww Christine, that was so thoughtful of Erin to have brought you an angel for you to rememeber your mum on Mothers Day. Really beautiful. Whats a house shape hun??? Oh and congrats on your 16th mothers day! WOW! We will all be there one day hopefully!

Leanne - You sound like you had a great mothers day. I am glad you love your present. The bracelet sounds beautiful! Kaitie sounds like she had an awesome birthday! I have'nt even planned anything for Brileys. We are thinking a family bbq this year. Not sure yet!

Lorelle - Glad you had a nice Mothers Day!

Hi Shazz and Kim! How were your mothers days????

Well the girls are at kindy today. And they both start going on Thursday aswell starting next week. That means 2 days a week for me to do whatever i want! YAY!!!

I also went back to the Dr's yesterday, bloods were fine. Only the main test I went for, to check my iron, was'nt tested!!! So now i have to wait longer for the results!

Also got my referral to the psychologist. The Dr was trying to get info out of me about why it was the I wanted to see a psych but I could'nt come right out and tell her. I just said that there were issues from my childhood that I need to talk about that are affecting my relationship, my life and me as adult. This made think if i can't talk to her, then how am i going to talk to anyone else about it. Is it worth going???

The Dr also hinted, even though I had said to her earlier that I did'nt want to, that it might be an idea for me to go on anti-depressents. She tried to sugarcoat it by saying that they were used as a hormone balancer. I'd rather talk first then if thats not helping than MAYBE discuss meds later. I have to go back in 4 weeks time for a review.

Anyways, ravelling now. Best be utilising the time I have alone to do some uni stuff!

    Hope you are all well....

sheree - thanks for helping me feel less guilty. I would be taking full advantage of being pregnant and not lifting anything heavy at all, but i am a lazy person unlike you.

sara - great to hear that you had a good mothers day. I didn't think of writing in to a psych, i guess anything is worth a go....I often get a bit of bleeding in that area when i strain a bit, just fissures i reckon, bit of rectinol and they clear up. Haven't ever heard of what you are describing though, having babies really does vandalise us doesn't it?!

Turns out Jay didn't have haemorrhoids after all, it was (and this isn't the exact title of the condition but) anal anyorism (sp?). So it was good in that he didn't need a general, just a local to cut it off. The poor guy is a bit traumatised though, no wonder all the prodding and poking they did in there! He said he can sort of understand why i was so traumatised about being stitched up after the birth now. He is off work for about a week and has been given lots of pain killers, apparently he will be in quite a bit of pain once the local wears off.

Im still feeling extremely fed up with Archie. Just left him at my Auntie's place for a couple of hours, thank goodness for her!

My baby girl is sick again.
Upper Resp Tract Inf. and wheezing.
The sweats last night were ridiculous too. Poor little mite.
Anyone used a ventolin spacer on their little one? Any tips? Last night bribing with jelly beans was the only way to go. Not the best teeth friendly bribe, but it worked.

Sara - please talk to someone before going on the meds. They are really hard to get off. Side effects are atrocious.

Leanne - We have used a Ventolin spacer and the only way that had any effect was to let them cry through it as they breathe it in in the gasps between cries. So basically put it to their mouth, spray, wait for them to cry three times. When we were giving lachlan ventolin we had to spray three different sprays once each, so it was a long process, but I think waiting for them to cry three times with each spray/pump ensures they get most of it. Hope that helps.

Katy loves the ventilin. She asks for more. No crying.... No bribes required anymore.
    We are pretty lucky eh

leanne - sorry to hear that Katy is unwell again. I haven't used a spacer with Archie, but i remember having to use it when i was little, i hated it! Its great that Katy likes the ventolin.

sara - sorry, i totally missed the bottom half of your post the other day! I would urge you to try talking to a psych or counsellor first, and then deciding on meds if you still feel it necessary, for me i need the meds to function, so the atrocious side effects that Leanne mentioned are worth it for me to be able to live my life. Great that you have 2 days to yourself now! Remember you were telling me about skin flaps near your bum that you got when pregnant? Well my Mum has the exact same thing, she got it when she had her 4th child, it is the same thing that Jay had surgery on but yours and my mums managed to contract back inside, but Jay's didn't.

Jay has just left to go the Adelaide, his job interview is first thing in the morning, i am so freakin nervous for him! He is still in a lot of pain too and the drugs are knocking him out most of the day, so the job interview will be quite a struggle i imagine. Archie has slept in his own bed all night, the last 2 nights, i feel human again! Still many wake ups but he goes straight back to sleep after a little cuddle.

GL Jay with your interview. Yay on ARchie sleeping in his bed.

Well we are onto day 4 of a day sleep in his bed, OMG!!! I just can't believe it. When we were back at the other house, when he was on the mattress on the floor there was no way in hell he was going to sleep during the day. We have no curtains yet either.... These kids always seem to amaze me at times.

Lachlan has come home every day this week from daycare with gashes and bruises all over him. He is really in the wars. Jamming his fingers in doors twice too! Gosh he is a busy little beaver, I would hate to see his legs when he is older, they are so battle worn already.

I am officially getting fluid - AGAIN!!! Thought I might have missed it this time round, was all good until 2 nights ago. My feet/legs are so red and swollen and tingely, just horrible, hope it doesn't get any worse. My hands don't appear swollen but they are tingely at times.

Where is kim? Hope you are ok Kim.
