Hello all.... I think I am experiencing Braxton Hicks like contractions. I woke this morning to a really sore tummy and it has not felt any better yet. Still went to work but its a little annoying. I don't recall this when I was pg with Katy.
Sugar levels are also sky high (a fasting level of over 9??) I should be thankful I am pg, as so many people I know are trying and wish they were - but I am so over it. :O(

Hi Leanne!
Is there any pattern or regularity to the pain?? If so, I would be keeping an eye on it. If you have more than 4 "pains" in a half hour period it might be wise to give the Birth Suite a call and have a chat to a Midwife.
However, it could be just BH like you say or even a bit of a stomach bug.

Okay it's just hit me that in just 7 weeks I could be holding my baby (that is if induction occurs at week 38)..... Far out I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. I guess I better get the nursery in order, clean the carseat and the pram etc very soon :O)
Oh and names, I have no names.... Any ideas? remember my surname is really long (Schoonderwaldt)

How are you all???
I've been busy busy busy! Big changes going on also.
Brento and the Girls are leaving Brisbane to move back to Townsville next Friday. Brento can't get any permanant work down here and we are about to lose the farm if he doesnt go back up there and get some work. Its going to be the hardest time of my life but I know it will all be worth it in the end. I trust him and he will have my family and some of his to help him out. More than I would have if I kept the girls down here with me.
Colby turned 2 last Monday. 2 already! *sigh*

sara - I cannot believe Colby is 2 ALREADY!!! I still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Hope Brent's move helps the situation, you a re a very strong Mum do it. Great to see you are still loving your doulaing
leanne - so so close, I am jealous AS! I am hopeless with names, I like so many, I will never be stuck for ideas LOL
I am moving to Mildura this month, thankfully Jay is being very supportive and has given me permission to take Archie interstate to live, he is even planning to transfer over that way to be closer. Funny (not ha ha) that he is extremely lovely and supportive of me and my decisions when we are seperated, but wont let me have a say when we were together, MEN.
I am loving the single, though at night I often feel a little sad if i let myself think too much about XH, I totally know its for the best though, and he is actually accepting it and taking steps to help himself move on.
Arch is gorgeous and such a good boy, though he still wears nappies due to huge poo issues, darn boys! He still loves his dummies too. oh well they tell me he will be TT and give up his dummies before he goes to school, I bloody hope so!

Riley is nowhere near toilet trained !! I console myself with the fact that even the dumbest child in my kindy class has managed to be toilet trained before they start school so surely he will be LOL He has now been dummy free for a few months, it was like quitting smoking! He still tries to buy one if he sees them at the shops LOL
Jess is doing her trials at the moment so is mega stressed and ultra cranky (what a joy) I can't believe that she will be at uni next year, where did my baby go??????????

oh Christine thank goodness, my slow boy isnt the only one! My Mum and Dad have made me feel like the slackest Mother for letting him stay in nappies. I am gonna send Arch to kindy at 4.5 years old, so my plan is, if he hasnt trained himself with poos by his fourth birthday then I am gonna be cruel and ply him with laxatives nad hold him down on the toilet til he explodes!!!! Darn boys nad their poo fears! How scary having a Uni kid!!!!!!!!!!!!

Riley won't start school until 2012 so at least I'll have an extra year!! The girls were easy to TT, what is it with boys?????

yeah, Arch wont start til 2012 as well thank goodness. Yeah, Mum and Dad didnt have any problem with us 4 girls, thats why they are on my case with Arch

I am happy to report that we are 90% toilet trained. Briley only wears a nappy to bed now. Usually just go's to the loo on her own when she needs to now. Colby is a little slower but she seems to be a little slower at everything compared to Briley.
Why won't Archie and Riley start prep till 2012??? Or do you both mean Grade 1???

Kim and I (and my belly) met up yesterday briefly - Kim it was so good to see you and your kids are so gorgeous.... Wished you lived closer
We're pretty much TT'd here too.... Still have our pooh issues at times, and she still wears a pull up when we go shopping (she can't hold it) and a nappy to bed. I am trying to make poohing in the toilet a real excitement for Miss Katy by asking her to wait to hear the splash, but she does not get it!
She won't go to the toilet though.... only the potty or a small kiddy loo. So that's our next challenge. But all kids in their own time. As long as they're right by school commencement.....
Katy won't start school until 2012 either. The cut off date for the school we are hopeful for is to turn 5 by the end of April..... So being a 9 May baby she just misses out. She'll go to 'pre-school' at her school though 2 or 3 days per week, and we'll just see how she goes. Depends on finances really.... Oh well - I am not too concerned, they grow up way too quickly as it is.

Different schooling systems Sara.... though i might Start Darcy in 2011...we'll see how she goes.
I saw Leanne yesterday! She looks fantastic!!! Names....hmmm no, we got Darcy to pick from our lists for Nate. She consistently chose the same two names, Nate and India for a girl.
Can't believe Colby is 2 aleady. Wow. Then again I can't believe our tiny babies are over 3 already.
OOoh Elissa Mildura is only a couple of hours from me!!!
Darcy still has dummies too....she gets sooo distraught when we try to get rid of them. She'll do it when she' ready. I just wish for her she didn't look so much older than 3 so strangers wouldn't give her so much stick about it. And pullups at night....no real biggie though. Nate outwees her 10 to 1.

In NSW public school system children who turn 5 before the 31st July that year can start but its common to keep kids who are late in that year ie end of May or June/July back until the year after. Since Riley is late May and a boy I will keep him back so he will start school when he is already 5. Its been interesting this year teaching kindy cause i have a boy who is 15th may and was sent early and he is just too immature so its cemented my decision not to send Riley.
Kim - I would imagine that Darcy being a girl and being early May would be ready for school in 2011, she is a bright little thing!
Jess is still wanting to do nursing so we are going to go to all the open days of the unis in the next month or so (how weird LOL)
Sara- that must have been such a hard decision to make, are you and Brent back together?? Could you transfer to uni up there?

sara - I am jealous of your TT girl! I have decided to keep Arch back til the start of the next school year instead of starting him in hte middle of the year when he turns 5. Often boys arent as socially ready to start as soon as girls (plus he is my baby and i dont want him to grow up to quick if he doesnt have too!)
kim - only a couple of hours!!!!!!! I am SO excited!! Where exactly do you live? Arch cops so much flack for his dummies too from everyone cause he seems so much older, people should just shut up sometimes.
christine - Mildura because I have lots of family up there who I am very close to and they all have little boys who are 4,5,6 years old, plus lots of babies, so loads of kids for Arch to grow up with. Plus I just really like the place, and the weather will be awesome, it constantly rains down here, so I am looking forward to being in the sun.
I chucked a nana today and felt awful afterwards, poor Arch, I let my stress get to me this morning. He is so beautiful and forgiving though, its amazing what they will forgive you for, precious babies.
