Hi ladies just a quick one here too while missy is having her nap!

Kelly and Rae - so good to hear from you both - glad you are both doing well. Rae I will let you know about the HAB...thanks! Kelly - Ive been out and fed a few times - once bubby cries and you know that hes hungry you will just do what you do!! WIth this feezing weather Im always wearing a shawl as a scarf and use that to cove up if it need to - but I bought 2 nursing singlets the other day and they are great - I fed in a restaurant the other day and I dont think anyone even noticed!! It is so good to get out though isnt it and i agree - the pram is the c/s culprit. Yay for mothers group I cant wait for mine to start - should find out tomorrow!

Rae- sounds like Tia is in a nice little routine for you - thats great and good to hear that Ella is being good for you too!

Sez- big hugs babe you poor thing:hugs: Hows the extra bottle feeding going?? Hope you arent in too much pain either hun. xox

Well not much here either - I really am so bored its ridiculous - I desperately need to find a hobby but am too lazy !
What are you girls doing other than housework, shopping, feeding and settling to fill your days!!!???
    Mmmm shes up - BBL

Noah just started fussing as soon as I hit the post button so I had to pick him up and do this one handed while being smiled at.

Not sure if I can manage the personals but I will try. Today we have the 6 week check-up and then mothers group and tomorrow we are off to Melb so I won't have much of an opportunity to post until Friday.

Kelly and Tan - It's *****ty that we have to hurt again, isn't it enough for the 3-4 weeks after birth? For your next children are you going to try vaginal or just go elective c/s? All the other c/s girls as well?

Danni and Tan - Can't wait for tomorrow, I will be a zombie though. Last night was the last chance to catch up on sleep and the booger stayed awake until 1am, just as well I managed a 2 hr nap yesterday. No chance of that today though

Hmmmm looks like there wasn't a whole lot to catch up on. Hello to all the yummy mummies!! Time for brekkie!! Oh and there is a pick of Noah and I with my homemade HAB style carrier on my page in the Noah - The Second Month section, I will try to get a close up later to post up.

I am so stupid sometimes. I've been looking in my user profile and our thread wasn't coming up with any new posts so I thought we were all having a really quiet few days but alas a new thread .
Bugger, Olivia has woken!! Better be quick

It is awesome to hear all the great news that some bubbies are sleeping good lengths and we are starting to get settled into routines. Tan sounds like you are making progress. Mason you little champion. You need to rub off your good boy vibes on all the other babies. We were heading off to sleep school tomorrow but i have to reschedule because we are all sick with a cold. Poor Livvy is just so upset and unsettled so it would be completely pointless going until she is better.
Blake sounds like he is growing beautifully and turning into a big boy and Suz it's a great idea to talk to someone about increasing your supply especially if you are keen to keep b/f as long as you can. Kelly hope the nipple shield help your nipple get a rest and it's great to hear from you.
We had our 6 week check up yesterday and I'm all good and apparently ready for the second, well according to the doctor anyway . Olivia on the other hand has been referred to the paediatrician because she has a very evident heart murmur . Unfortunately we can't get in for 5 weeks so by then I should be completely beside myself. I know she'll be fine but there is this nagging fear in the back of my mind. She is growing really well 4.6kg now.
Olivia and I can't wait to meet everyone soon!!!
I gotta dash and sort our Olivia and clean this house because I have 8 people, yes 8, staying here tonight.
Catch up later lovely ladies and fingers crossed we all have a great day.

    Luv Dan.

    Hi ladies
Sarah - your HAB looks awesome !!!! Im gonna make me one!! I cant wait til tomorrow too- dont worry about being a zombie, god travelling that far and no sleep etc I dont blame you! Just looking forward to meeting you and Noah!

Dan- hugs to Olivia - what does a heart murmur mean hun? Sorry Im a bit clueless, and I hope you werent too rushed off your feet with all those people at your house.

We had our MCHN appointment today - missy is 4.985kgs!! 15 grams off - I KNEW she was heavy!! Haha and 55cms long so making excellent progress- makes all this nipple pain worthwhile. My MG starts on the 12 July - mmm wish it was earlier - oh well and Ive made an appontment to see the LC at the centre to see if I can get any tips for her attaching on the right side... its ridiculous how we get it so right on the other side!

I was going to go back to school to visit everyone today - but its pouring here today so it will be a wet day timetable - great for the catchments and gardens but honestly - EVERY wednesday that Ive wanted to go back its rained!!

Oh well the heaters on - might put a dvd on and snuggle with my girl on the couch!
    Have a great day everyone!!

    Hi everyone -

Dan - are you coming to Melbourne? When? I'm so sorry to hear about Olivia's heart murmur. When was she checked out? By your OB or did you have a 6 week MCHN appointment?

Sarah - good luck at your appointment and have fun at Mothers Group! How long are you in Melbourne for? Are we all organising something for July still?

Tan - OMG, you just reminded me about my pashmina I've had sitting in the top of my cupboard for ages! I never thought to use that to cover up in public when BFing (I'm super self-conscious and have always taken EBM with me instead). As for boredom, I'm still too tired to get bored - I'm home all the time but still trying to get Mia settled. She still cracks the sh*ts all the time we can't go out for long before she's off on a tantrum again, poor thing

Kelly - SO glad to hear the nipples are healing!! yay!! And that combined with better sleeping means you must be feeling 200% better, so happy for you!

Danni - how did the photography session go, hon?? Can't WAIT to see the photies!!!! I haven't forgotten about you, I promise - I'm still having issued with Mia at home and don't know if I'm coming or going lately, but I'd love to have a big group catch up still - maybe we can organise something in advance so we can all plan way ahead??

Sez - I'm so sorry to hear about the weight issue with Nicholas. I am currently on Motilium as I have had BFing issues since day 1 and it has really helped to increase my supply. Before that, my MCHN (also a LC) was getting me to take Fenugreek like there was no tomorrow, as well as drinking 3 glasses of sustogen a day as well. Maybe that may also help?

Rae - You sound like you're doing and coping wonderfully which is absolutely fantastic. I don't know how you do it with two, but you're obviously taking it all in your stride and doing a wonderful job!!

Lis - How great to hear that Elena is starting to get herself into her own routine! Good idea about the food diary - Mia is SUPER windy all the time and we try Infants Friend with her and always try to burp her every 3 mins while feeding, but she still gets really windy. Thanks!

Had my 6 week check up at my OB yesterday. Everything is fine downstairs (yay...god bless my epi-no!) and no other problems. Also had a pap smear done at the same time to get that out of the way as well - things must still be very stretchy down there though as I didn't feel a thing!! hahaaaaa Maybe that was a good thing

Did everyone also have a 6 week appointment for bubs or only for them? My next MCHN appointment isn't until 8 weeks (last one was at 4 weeks) - is this normal?

    Morning all!

Rae so glad to have you back, I've missed you! Sounds like you are doing beautifully looking after your two little princesses! Glad to hear that Ella is a doting big sister, being so close in age I'm sure they will be the best of friends. If you don't mind can you please email me the details of your friend who makes the sling??

Alex ha ha at Jack going out the doggy door! I'm sure soon he will be too big and then you'll have to make sure that Toby doesn't follow in his brothers footsteps.

Sarah your sling looks awesome, well done! Wish I could do something like that, I'm hopeless with sewing.

Ash how are you and Blake doing? Have you heard from Bec? I hope she is doing ok!

Dan I reckon you should get those 8 people working for you ha ha, housework and babysitting! Sorry to hear about Olivia's heart murmur, I hope it will all be ok.

Tan OMG I don't have time to be bored, sounds like your munchkin has settled down for you. Yay at her weight gain, your bb juice is working wonders! Can you believe this weather today? I was hoping to head out today but its way too cold and wet, I'd hate Elena to catch a cold.

Danni hope your photos went well and that Mason is still being a perfect angel with his sleeping.

Kristen glad your 6 week appointment went well. I also only have an 8 week checkup for Elena with the MCHN. Not sure if my OB will check Elena out at my 6 week appointment as I don't have that until Friday. I'm due for a pap smear as well, here's hoping that I don't feel it either!

Sez hope you aren't in too much pain, I hope things get better for you soon!

Tara I know you don't get much time to post with 3 kids to take care of, hope you are all well and that Leo is starting to sleep better for you.

Ange how are you and miss Jade, did you sort out her feeding?

Hey to anyone I missed and sorry, gosh its so hard to catch up with everyone sometimes!

Gotta go little miss is awake and most likely hungry! She now weighs 4.68kg! I thought she was getting heavy lol. And now she is doing the most beautiful smiles, makes getting up at 4am worthwhile!

    hey guys!

i have absolutely no chance with personals, but ive been catching up and have visited all the webpages to check out all the beautiful babies.

    update on us -

baden is formula fed and has been since 3.5 weeks as he was losing too much weight. he has been 120ml 6 times per day (four hourly) but today im going to up to 150ml hopefully 5 times per day?

we have a pretty good night time routine at the moment so i hope the change doesnt ruin things. he currently sleeps 6pm - 6am without fuss. wakes for his bottles and goes straight back to sleep after a nappy change.

days are a different story as he doesnt really sleep and i find it a struggle to get things done. the change has been a bit hard for me who is usally so organised/structured. of course it was to be expected, but its still hard.

baden likes to be held and i oblige because i am not good with the whole crying thing - but im getting better.

sounds bad but i do adore baden and we are getting there. will try update my webpage with some new pics.

    needles tomorrow! scared about that.

hope everyone is happy and well. will try drop in more often.

Hi guys just a quickie to let you know we just got back from the Children's. We had to take Nicky to hospital on Monday night cos he had a hernia develop, they then sent us to the RCH. He had it operated on yesterday and all is going well. Very stressful though, especially as we had NO sleep while waiting through all drama. He is just amazing though, he's such a good little boy, and has coped very well Fortunately it is just a little thing, and quite common, especially with premmies. Glad to be home! If I thought Monday was a bad day when I posted, it got a million times worse hehe.

Off to see the orthopod this afternoon, hopefully it's time for some good news!

    BBL girls, love Sez xoxo

    Hello everyone!!!!

Sez - you poor things - you've had such a rough time hun, big hugs to your brave little man. Hope he recovers quickly and hope your appointment went well today too.:hugs:

Lee- so good to hear from you!! Alot of our bubs in here wont sleep day time!! Took me 45 minutest to settle Izzy the other day and she slept for 25 minutes = ha ha!! Sounds like Baden is sleeping well at night though - makes a big difference doesnt it!! I know what you mean about the days - Im still adjusting to being a SAHM rather than a full time teacher. I guess with time it will all fall into place.

Danni - see you tomorrow hun!! Dans here from the 9th til the 13th... we need to get a move on to plan this mini Melbourne catch up!!

Kristen you have to come too and anyone else local who is interested- let us know!!!

Dan what day is best for you- am assuming you have other things to do while you are here - other than catching up with us lovely BB ladies!

Well missy had two 1 hour sleeps today - slow but sure progress - she is now in a trance watching her toys on her bouncer REFUSING to fall asleep even though she is clearly exhausted!! Ah well.......and now she is grizzling so better be quick!

Going to mums for dinner tonight - yay - Ive cooked once since being home from hospital!! Als mum brings us dinner twice a week - (I know - spoilt) diner at my mums once a week or she is here once a week and cooks - and Al cooks the rest of the time or we get take out!

Hi ladies. No time for personals but have caught up on what everyone's up to and glad to hear most bubbies are sleeping well.

Dan - sorry to hear about Olivia's heart murmur. I'm sure its very stressful for you but hopefully the 5 weeks will pass quickly until your appointment. Crossing everything for you that its nothing too serious and Olivia will be fine.

I've had a seriously awful few days. Isabelle has been so unsettled with her reflux worse than its ever been. Long sleep at nights are gone so I'm so tired and getting really depressed with how badly it all seems to be going at the moment. I know she'll grow out of it and it won't always be like this, but I swear if one more person tells me "it gets better" I'm going to strangle them with my Baby Bjorn!! I hate seeing my little girl so pained, especially when there's nothing I can do to help her.

Sorry about the self centred post. Will hopefully have a happier girl tomorrow so I can check in and catch up with you all.

    Hi mums and bubs

Lis - i'll email you the details of the sling Go Elena on the weight gain!!! Tia was weighed yesterday (clothed) and now weighs 3.5kg...so is making steady progress

Danni - Fletch and Finn are doing well. I visited them last Fri. Finn's a cutie alright - just like his big bro. I'll pass on your well wishes.

Sez - hope Nicholas is doing ok and makes a quick recovery. Big hugs to you both.

Lulu - Big hugs to you too hun. I know only too well what it's like to have a bub with severe reflux...not at all pleasant. We were fortunate that the osteopath we were referred to solved Ella's problem after several sessions. I hope Isabelle improves soon - poor little poppet.

Dan - sorry to hear about Olivia's heart murmur. If it helps they are very common and in most cases have absolutely no effect on a person's life (most heart murmurs go undetected). But still as scary as hell i imagine. No one wants to think their bub has a problem - minor or major - with their heart (trust me i'm there).

Alex - great to hear all is well with you and the boys. Lol at Jack trying to get out the doggy door!!!

    Hi to everyone else.

Tia's sleeping is just becoming more and more fabulous. She's now sleeping 7 hours solid of a night time and is also in a great routine with sleeps, feeds and play during the day. It's nice to have a fairly predictable child. She's wanting to stay up later of an evening (til about 10:30pm) but if that means she sleeps the big block i'm not complaining...i'm not usually wanting to go to bed earlier than 11pm anyway.

    Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around much either but I have had a busy schedule and my back went AGAIN!!! Obviously my stomach muscles have stretched too much and my back can't take the weight. It is really getting me down because it is stopping me from doing a lot for my little girl and having to rely on either my mum or MIL to come and look after her while I sit there all day not being able to move. Especially since I used to be at the gym 5 days a week and was quite fit.
I have an appt with the osteopath tomorrow to try and help relieve the pain. Then on friday we have our 8 week appt at the dr's for Isobella's shot and I have to get a papsmear (it has been over 3yrs since my last one).
Also I have the opposite problem from most of you my little one sleeps brilliantly through the day and stays up all night - I have even kept her up almost all day only letting her have 2 45min sleeps and she still stayed up!!!! ARRRGH that is why I am posting at this ungodly hour as she has just gone to sleep.
And her 7 week measurements (last thursday) were length: 61cm HC: 39.2cm and a massive 5860grams (and average of 260grams per week increase so that would make her over 6 kilos this week!!! (no wonder my back keeps going!!
I will come back later and do personals............... keep well and give your little ones big kisses xxx
