awww Kim what an awful day for you *hugs* I'm glad you get some time off the screaming today.

I have decided to go on a fitness spree and walk Matilda to FDC every day she goes. Its a 10 minute walk there up a huge hill, and a 5 minute walk home down the hill... so its not hard. But something I've never done before because of the thought of walking up the hill with the 2 kids in the pram is exhausting But today it was great. Its absolutely beautiful here atm and I'm going to make use of the nice weather

Isn't the weather sublime Christy? I have opened all the windows and doors in the house today, and warm breeze is blowing in, hopefully blowing all the nasty winter germs away!!

Glad that Chelsea is back to herself Kim, what a shocker for you!

Ann - Have been meaning to ask, how is it being back at work? Are you enjoying yourself?

Blanche _ hows the diet going? good on you with the bikes. I still walk down to the bus to pick up the kids a couple of times a week...depends on whether master is awake or not!

Did I say that Jovie's started crawling?? She did on Friday & I thought that would solve our non sleeping during the day by wearing herself out, I was wrong. LOL she wouldn't sleep today just crawling around her cot or me if I tried to settle her.... I'm a zombie again & didn't get my book read for the book club tomorrow!!! eeek...better stay up late & read.

Yay Jovie, yep Emelia isnt going to sleep easy anymore now she is crawling too, prefers to crawl around and sit/stand in her cot!! i thought the same about wearing themselves out but nope :s

Emelia has dropped her second sleep now and is having only 1 a day now for 2 hours which isnt to bad at all i guess!

we discovered moveing around the cot last week as well!!! soon as i put her doenshe flips and is off, i find if i leave her for 10-15 mins then go back in a put her back on her back and tuck her in tight, she'll go to sleep, i'm trying to get sophie down to 3 sleeps a day instead of 4!!!
tried the heinz powdered custard today, very impressed just mix with b/m or formula, no added sugar!!!

well evie's a little star eater now but hasnt worked out that food will stop her feeling hungry. so i need some ADVICE! i wait til she's hungry to feed her solids but then she knows that boobies fill her belly so makes a fuss and doesnt want solids, just boob. although she will sit and swallow food - just not enough quick enough to fill her up. does that make sense? am i supposed to offer her solid before breast at this stage?

ok Blanche, cheers, so what do i do then? if i wait til she's hungry she doesnt want to know about solids..she demands satisfaction!
Also, just a question for you all...are you guys all demand feeding? i just assumed it's what everyone did but i'm just curious

WOW all of you have such active babies. Ella sits an plays and only just started rolling. She smiles so proudly afterwards. LOL

AJP - 4 sleeps! how long does she sleep for each one? Ella is sleeping twice a day for a total of 2hrs.

Vicky - Work is good. I'm very much aware i'm just there for the pay check. But i got paid the other day and it was SWEET. Its so good getting a bit of your own money even though its not much.

Being a mum is so much harder than working. I never understood it before but now - I totally agree. I look forward to being with Ella so much more on my days off. One of the girls at work said "You're so lucky you can sleep in" !!!!!! I just looked at her and laughed. ---yeah right----sleep in!

Tara- i gave ella boobs first until Ella lost weight and my GP said "food first!". We are feeding about 3 times a day.

We're going fine. Great day. Ella now sleeps with me sitting next to her. Her teething is easing up a bit.

That sounds quite similar to my day actually, i think i just have to pre-empt (spelling?) when she's hungry otherwise i end up waiting til shes too hungry.
great night last night, bed at 645, cried out at 730 but was having a bad dream so i just gave her a pat and walked out (so that doesnt count as a wake up!!!), woke at 1115, then 315 then I HAD TO WAKE HER at 630 to take DH to work! unbelievable! i wouldve had a wee sleep in!!
and it's back to taking 15 mins to get her back to sleep once she wakes at night, i considered not offering boob but it's just too easy and i get too upset if i dont get enough sleep so its better for us all in the long run
