tara- good to hear you're feeling better about sleep and solids. Its funny - you just want your baby to be like everyone elses....but they are so different. I think that when i wonder why Ella's not crawling or standing up by herself. I think - am I not teaching her properly?

Kim - just checked your galllery. No pics yet! We want to see how cute Chelsea was.

Gigi - we went forwards and backwards too with solids. Yesterday she had 2 baby spoons of breakfast and today she had 5 cubes! Everyday and every week is different for us. When she's teething (like now) she loves chewing on things rather than the fork mashed foods. So she prefers toast, bread with avocado or chopped dried figs or sultanas.

Well I'm suppose to be at work today but I'm at home sick. I had the most horrendous weekend throwing up. I havent had any solids since Saturday night which disappeared after an hour. Today I've just managed to stand up and walk. Luckily my MIL is here today to take care of Ella. I can barely pick her up. I think its gastro - its been lurking around the last few weeks. And now its struck. I got a call from work to see if i was really sick! - dont you love it.

Ann that is so rude! i cant believe work would ring you!!!! i'd tell them to stick it. you must feel like a trusted employee! i'd go in and start licking all their food and make them sick and then ring them in the middle of the night......too far?

tara stick it them out in the sun, the sun is the best stain remover may take a few goes but will work better than napisan!!

    Thanks ladies, will do!
I just spent half an hour standing next to the cot with evie holding my hand and me shhh'ing. so hopefully she'll be happy enough to have a good sleep.
I find that no matter how tight i tuck her in she still rolls over, everytime i go in during the night she's on all fours, like she sleeps on her belly then wakes up and doesnt realise whats going on

I dont think any of you ladies FF do you?? But might still have some ideas of what i can do/give instead.

Today at FDC Chelsea has had 2 full bottle in total (400ml out of possible 880ml), ate her yoghurt, fruit and vegies. But i cant get her to drink milk???? When she got home i gave her some juice and toast but i think played with it more then ate any.

I tried pieces of fruit on Saturday and she played with them. What else can i give her....i want her to eat foods that will fill her up. I dunno how to give her filling foods (like meats and pasta etc like she is supposed to be eatting cos im so silly).

HELP...... things have gone down hill in a day and im stressing!

kim i but the very small star pasta brand DIVELLA STELLINE 74 from safeway, saves having to mush big pasta up, sophie last night had that with spag bol that i had frozen into cubes for her from the previous nights dinner, sophie is lucky to have 1 tbs of brekky, 1 whole avocado for lunch with tuna and 3 cubes for tea, she then had approx 2 cubes of custard and fruit for dessert,
going to check out your pics now!!

    WOW gorgeous pic kim~

Dont worry Kim, now I feel useless cos there is no way evie is eating anything that everyone else seems to be eating! she might have had a teaspoon or two of yogurt this morning, i might try some toast with avocado for lunch tho...by the way what does FF stand for? Force feed? What do you mean by that?
are you guys paranoid about baby choking? i really am and i think thats really limiting what i'm willing to try her on. like she loves sausage (actually she's happy to try anything) but i always pull it out of her mouth because she cant chew it up and i'm worried she'll choke
Night started off good for us slept from 615 til 1015 then was up every 2 hours plus took DH and I an hour and a half to get her back to sleep.
I am so over thinking. i have had enough with trying to work out what works and what doesnt. i'm trying to remind myself that she's a happy baby and thats what matters
