Would you believe that I also tested !!!!

And believe me - we really aren't trying, and wont be, and I shouldn't be able to fall anyway!!

Hence the lack of posting - Have been in incredible pain, spent yesterday at the hospital. They wanted to keep me in over nnight, and do a lapraoscpoy this morning. I was NOT doing that. I requested that weren't there any NON INVASIVE procedures we could try first. I had an ultrasound, which showed no cyst on my ovary - so the cause of the pain is still to be identified, but after I pushed and discussed my medical history, they agreed to allow me to pain manage at home, and try hormone therapy, treating me as if Endometrious is there without actually seeing it. DUH!! I have had it for so long, I KNOW when its there. So I will do the pain management and hormone therapy with the promise to go back to the hospital if pain worsens (if that is at all possible - morphine injections relieved me for half an hour!) Anyway - long story short - I'm waiting until Aston gets to one... which is how long I want to breast feed. I not ready to stop yet - unless he is... so rather then make him before he is one, I will manage the pain and see how we go...

Today I feel a little better - probably because I spent yesterday horizontal in a hopsital bed, and not doing anything at all..still on pain killers, and taking it easier then I had been.

Sorry for the absolute lack of personals. I have read... but I can't remember.. sorry to be so self obessessed. I am thinking of you all... and reading everything. Take care... x

awww Vicky you poor thing , not appedix???, hope you get better soon, rest up hun! easier said than done i know.

we had another lovely day today, went to see some friends who were in our antenatal class with twin boys 1 week older than sophie, they played so well together, we then went to a little toy shop further up the mountain to check out some old fashioned toys/wooden ones/musical instrument, was great!! didnt spend too much, went to a lolly shop next, then came outside to find a man looking for the owners of two cars parked opposite, one of which was ours, only to tell us it had been hit!!!!!!!!!! side swipped by a car and trailer!! not much damage on our, just the drivers side mirror smashed off but the next car was a BMW had quite estensive damage, the lucky thing was that if we hadnt gone to the lolly shop i would have been putting sophie intothe car! and probably been hit, scary stuff

TARA i had a few beers for us yesterday

When I was 17 i was "offered" hormone treatment by an a$$hole of a doctor. They said on the outside i would look the same but on the inside i would be like an 80 year old. i would go through menopause, my bones would become very brittle and i would never EVER have children.
    what a crock.
always look for something else, hunny. there's a lot of natural things around. i've had 4 laps and have found the same thing - felt worse after, i think it's all the scarring. but i know what an uphill battle it is, so please stay positive.

AJP, so happy to hear you're ok. it's freaky when you think of stuff like that happening hey? all the more reason to enjoy those lollies. Had some wines for us too today.
had to have a laugh actually. i went to the bottle shop today (first time in ages!!) and they dont sell any drinks i used to have before baby and pg... felt like i'd been MIA for a few years and now everything's changed! Oh how i loved caribbean crush malibus

ah man endo sucks. I have a friend who has suffered with it for years. She's going through IVF and it sucks so bad. She had some great results with natropathy and acupuncture, but as soon as she stopped it all came back.

Vicky - my auntie suffered it too. Very painful.

We had a stressful day battling the crowd at Ikea - I really dont like going there. Ella ges antsy DH gets stress... There are just too many people in the store you have to wait for everything. Otherwise we are going well. Ella has started drinking from a straw and is guzzling her whole sippy cup through the straw.

Vicky - you are not being self obsessed, thank you for saying what's going on for you, big hugs your way and i hope you get your wish to feed Aston until he's one. How frustrating, health hunting for someone to help you, sounds like you've had a long journey battling this. I'm glad for you that you've been able to get pregnant and carry to term though, that's a good thing.

AJP - whoa, what a close call!

i got bilbs measured on Friday by a CYH nurse, and she is in the 25th percentile for weight and height! Just when i thought she was tall and chubby, turns out she is short and petite! i have had it SO wrong! she seems to have a few chins and rolls on her thighs, so i thought that meant chubba bubba. oh well. Seems like the one thing she has got from my genes is the short legs ha ha.

We are finally seeing FORWARD crawling, she's learnt how to swing her leg around, so there's no stopping her. Proper playpen arriving soon to give her crawling space. And tonight, using a trick one of you mentioned a while ago, i gave her two types of solids pureed, alternating btwn apple/oatmeal and pumpkin/rice - she wasn't rapt, but ate it. so it worked! i got her to eat more than one tiny spoon of something savoury! woo hooo!

the CYH nurse said i should get bilbs seen by a speech therapist, due to her choking on lumpy food at ten months old, only coping with pureed food at her age.

we are nowhere near using a sippy cup either. but the breastfeeds are getting shorter - although still every few hours (including during the night).

how did Chelsea go at the BOdy Shop party KimBaz?

any ideas what to get a one year old who is not crawling yet, for a present? It needs to be posted to her interstate, so ideas of things that don't weigh heaps, would be great. (our little niece in melb).

Hope you are hanging in there, Vicky, fingers and toes and everything crossed for you hon

1 yr olds love simplicity. So some big fat crayons or cool bubble wand accessories etc. I found books to be the best presents. I LOVED getting books and I still do. I always ask for books from everyone. I have gotten some beautiful books. There is a series out there about a wombat which is gorgeous. We have "When I want to curl up into a ball" and its just the most beautiful book about emotions. The other toys that go a long way are things like wooden puzzles. Matilda still plays with hers. Blocks, mega blocks (not good for posting though) Little people farm.... trying to think of the toys that lasted in our house for 2 more years...

Jovie sometimes still gags, depends on the food. Matilda didn't start having lumps until she was 1 because she had no teeth & would gag on everything. I haven't brought Jovie to a MCHN since she was 6 weeks old. I've had nothing but stress and bad advice from them. Jovie will eat a crust of bread but will not eat some soft pieces of veges, just mashed. She will eat rice, lentils but not soft pieces of food.

Hmm.. the party with Chelsea was a night mare....of course everyone found her tantrusm an then smiles hilarious.. i did not! After 2 hours i had to leave...bought nothing (i was proud but annoyed to cos i could have got sooo much stuff). Came home and she slept for 2 hrs then!!

Go Bilby.....my CHN says Chels wil always be petite..and she hasnt got a roll on her body to be seen... if only i could have her figure *dreams*.

Jols im glad you went to the shop now... man how scary....glad your ok and your car isnt to badly bruised!!

Food wise here we were going well again. Chelsea eats wat we do for dinner, not mashed/pureed...nothing... chunks and all. Her fav is butter chicken and rice or my special spag bolg made from scratch (not jarred sauces etc). Ive never seen a kid consume so much spag in my life....i dish up a huge bowl for her...and she still wantts more so have to off load mine....any one would think she is eatting more then me!!

Any ideas how to get her drinking water plain again??

Ever since her gastro and drinking Gastrolyte i cant get her to drink plain water
