Hollye - Glad yesterday went well for you hun and that Mia was really good!!!
Tan - Hope DH wasn't too hungover today. Yay on the business. Hope everything goes well and that you don't have to go back to teaching for a while yet. Hopefully James stays in that sleeping pattern at night for you!
Hj - So glad that Biana is sleeping well for you at night. Hope it stays that way. Lara sleeps approx that time every night too.
Olivesmummy - I'm not sure when I am going back to work. I am hoping I wont have to go back to work for a while. With DD1 I went back to work when she was 14 months old. I work in childcare but it was ok coz DD1 went to the same centre that I worked at so I got to see her everyday. You're lucky you wont have to pay for childcare though & at least its not full days. I'm hoping I wont have to do full days when I go back.
I live in Cairns and I am sooooo sick of the heat at the moment. Poor Lara, it is taking its toll on her too. I always check the temp at night and its still been like 29 degrees at like 1am.
Well I had better go, hi to everyone I have missed!
pretty average night. was going great till 3am. i think the problem was that she had too much sleep yesterday and night time came and she was over sleeping. nevermind.. cant win em all! I dont think her cold helped the situation. Shes been sick now since tuesday... should i take her to the doctor?
Hollye - Has she got a fever? What other symptoms does she have? If she has a runny nose but is feeding ok etc. I would leave it but if she still has a fever and her feeds are affected I would take her. With littlies they can't give anything anyway for a cold unfortunately. I use a vaporiser in their rooms when they have a cold, and slightly raise the bed mattress so that the mucous runs out rather than down their throats. I hope she's better soon hun and if you are worried take her to get checked out.
Leigh - I whinge about the cold here but really 29 at night sounds much worse.hug: I would love to live somewhere that its mild at night and about 26-28 during the day everyday! Haha! Paradise!
Well my DH sucks. We went shopping this morning, got there at 9 which was great and he got a haircut and ALL his Xmas shopping done by 11! Ive still got stacks to go but will go during the week. Arrghhh. We are good here, kids are sleeping well considering they are all snot and I am glad that I haven't got it (touch wood). Have a great Sunday all!
Last night I started to get pain in my right boob (first thought was mastitis) so I got in the shower to try to find a lump but couldn't. Then as the night went on just kept getting worse, so this morning we went up to see the Midwife who is a LC and she had a look and thinks it is a blocked duct even though I can't find the lump and not mastitis yet. So I'm really hoping it goes away before getting worse!!!!!!
So I'm not in a great mood and DH is just being an idiot! Men really are from a different planet!!!!
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday, sorry about the 'me' post, just needed to vent!
Hippie - I hope your duct clears up hun, make sure he has a great feed on that side and drains the breast to help it clear out as well. Try and angle his chin to where you feel the most pain too - so if you feel sore on the right under your arm try football hold so that it clears it. Aren't men just pains at times. Mine drives me nuts too at times.
Quiet in here today - everyone must be having exciting weekends!
Hollye - How was the rest of your day and night hun? Did Mia settle for you??
I have SO much housework to do today - luckily Izzy got up at 6 Why can't both of my poppets sleep at the same time and give me a sleep in!! Ah well! Have a good day ladies- I have a MCHN appointment for James today! Yay can't wait to see how much he weighs, I think it will be just under 6kgs! Izzy's appointment is on Friday and both are due for needles but they are both sick so they will just have to wait until they are 100%.
