Hi everyone! Gosh this time of year is busy!! We have been at friends or else had people over every day in the last week! Doing really well, James has been an angel, still sleeping through and sleeping well during the day, and is generally just the most content and gorgeous little boy. We get loads of smiles and giggles every day, he just loves his dingly dangle in the car and spends all his time cracking up at it or else sleeping! We have needles tomorrow for both of them not looking forward to that but with Christmas and being sick we are already late. Went to mums today and she sewed my costume for NYE! Too cute!
Ok Im off to cruise forums for a bit - have a great night all!

Just came back from the Dr for needles - Izzy didn't even realise she had one! bu poor James screamed and cried the whole time poor little tyke - I gave him a HUGE feed when we got home and he just fell into a deep sleep. I remember Izzy slept the whole day too when she had hers. I think we won't be doing much at all today, DH is home as well and looks like he has a touch of gastro. Off to clean while I can ladies -have a great day!

we are ok. Mia's colic is playing up real bad so we have been a very stressed and tired household for a few day. Gave her a feed with infacol earlier and it brought the wind up but she spent an hour spewing her feed up so i might stick with infants friend and see how that works. So im feeling abit lost atm and over the full on screaming she does ALLLLLLL day.

As for needles.. its an oral drink and 2 needles.. one in each leg.

Hollye - have u thought of tryin Mia on INFANT GAVISCON? It truely has been a godsend for Bianca!! we are now easing her off it and she is doing fine!
2 needles!!!!!!!!!!! im so not going to be able to handle that at all!
and how do they go drinking the drink?

Mia was fine with the drink and the first needle.. it was the 2nd one when she screamed the house down. ISnt gavascon for reflux???? wheerre do u get it? is it over the counter?

Yep for Reflux! u get it over the counter and just put it in her formula - we only used one sachet per bottle - she had it for every bottle for a couple of weeks than put it in only her morning, afternoon, and night time bottle now she only has it for morning and night bottle than we will do it either morning or night than none! It really has been fantastic! Pead was happy that we are using it - said its very sensitive on their stomachs however it can make them slightly constipated - which it did on and off for Bianca but than we just used coloxyl - the constipation was never too bad!

When Izzy had hers it was 3 needles and the oral stuff.... blerh. Not very nice, I hate it. James has been ok but a little bit clingy which is fine because Iz slept for THREE hours today - that is just unheard of so the needle obviously affected her a bit. I spent all arvo cuddling my little guy and feeding him 2 hourly today.
DH has been like a bear with a sore head - ugh I hate it when men get sick. No fluffy mail that I was expecting either - boohoo I hope I get it tomorrow! I ordered bubblebubs foamy wash today too to use with cloth wipes!

Hollye - I hope Mia and you get some sleep tonight.

Hippie - Im jealous! I so want to get away but I don't think its going to happen - friends of ours are camping up on the river, I'd love to go but Izzy is just too fast and little.

Hello to everyone I've missed - sorry for the slack personals.

3 needles!!! yucky! I'm glad they've brought it down to 2. Can you imagine if they had to give separate injections for every immunisation. That would make 5 or 6 per visit or something wouldn't it? Liam was fine with everything but the last one as well - the nurse said that's pretty normal. Really, they're over it pretty quickly. I'm sure it effects us a lot more than them - emotionally at least.

Did you see the news story about the 14pound baby born recently?????!!!!!!! I think they said that was around 6kg - bigger than Liam now. Imagine just carrying that in your belly!!!!
Apparently the biggest baby ever born was around 24pounds. But its parents were both super tall circus 'freaks' - and unfortunately it didn't live very long (sorry bout the 'it', I don't know if it was a girl or boy).

Hollye, sorry about all the hard work with Mia lately. Hope you find a solution soon.

    Tan, what's Bubblebubs Foamy Wash?

1stbub - Im so glad the needles are combined - imagine 6or 7 needles... yuck. Bubblebubs foamy wash is a concentrated bum wash that that you can pump onto bubs bot or a cloth wipe to clean them at each nappy change instead of using disposable wipes. The pump container makes it all foamy. I think I will use cloth wipes at home and disposables out.

James had a good night slept til 4 and had a bit of a fever, he was really sweaty too poor thing but I gave him a huge feed and he went back til 9 and is now happy as! Yay! Was worried I would have 2 grizzly bubs after yesterday but both seem not too bad really! Have a good day all we are off to buy handles for our new kitchen - it's been a bit awkward to open them!!
