nah i wouldnt offer more milk, if i was BFing i would but too much formula will give her a tummy ache. She spreads the 200 mls out over the day.. like 30 mls at a time. She just loves anything to do with water.

as for sposies.. yes mia is full time sposies.

HJ - I guess because I am breastfeeding that I know that if I offer him short feeds on a hot day, that is the watery foremilk and better for him than water and will quench his thirst as well. At 6 mths when he starts solids I will introduce a sippy cup with his lunch etc. I'm not sure with FF'ing whether to offer more water but I would have thought an extra bottle would do the trick. I would be scared they would fill up too much on water rather than milk seeing as their tummy is so small.
DH used to have a business but it was a bit different - he is a chippy and had a fencing business. This is a bit different selling novelty chocolates!!! It's fun though and fingers crossed we can build it up and make some good money on the side. The good thing is that we can claim holidays etc because we are stocked at many touristy places!

Ive only offered her water just to see how she takes too it - i wouldnt replace or use it instead of her formula, that always comes first!
Have u got a website set up for u chocolate buisness? i so could never go into a buisness like that - i would eat too many!
    Bargin on the holidays!

I've been using Huggies too but bought a pack of Sorbies the other day for both and they seem to be ok. Izzy is a HEAVY wetter overnight and she didn't leak so that's good. James isn't too heavy overnight or during the day and they are holding up really well.

HJ - I know what you mean about the chocolate! Problem is, I've cut right back on chocolate because it gives James tummy trouble! Arrrggghhh the joys! Im glad he sleeps well overnight so I can have a few glasses of wine on Christmas night and NYE!!! We are having a P party and I'm going as Pebbles!! So excited!

    Hi Girls,

Just wishing you all a Merry Xmas. Have a great day tomorrow. I can't wait. We're having xmas here so I've got a bit of last minute cleaning to do today.

Lara is in full time sposies too, we use huggies as well. She is still in newborn. She's been sleeping from 10pm til approx 7am so I'm not complaining. I am scared that I will jinx myself everytime I tell someone.

Better get started on the cleaning (I really dont feel like doing it). Sorry for the lack of personals.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

    Merry xmas everyone,
Haven't had a chance to read all the posts as it has been crazy here. I spent yesterday going to clinic and shopping and today is my b'day so have had visitors all morning though i'm sure it's just another excuse to see Olive. I'm also back to expressing so thats been tiring and Olive had a couple of horrid days but is back to her old self now thank god. Olive now weighs a whopping 6.2kg and is 61cm! at least I know that she is getting plenty of milk after all my problems so it pushes me that bit further. Tomorrow I go to my mums in the morning, DH's mums for lunch then back to my mums for dinner. Then on the 27th we go to DH's dads so another busy couple of days. Anyway am expecting more visitors so have a great day tomorrow everyone.

    hey girls!!!

well im back from mia's appointment. When i told her that Mia was only having 4 bottles (most days) and was only downing on average 120-140 mls, she wasnt impressed. What am i meant to do, force her to feed? i dont think so!!! ANyhooo. she got weighed and she has put on 480 grams in 2 weeks.. so the 4 bottles musnt be too bad!!! so she is now 5.2 kilos, 55cm long and hc 39cm. Mia also favours putting her head to the right side so we have to try and encourage her to put it to the left, and prob have to go see a phisio for it.

Anyhooo all else is good.. off to put her to bed... mwah!

Hollye, I think I'm over listening to the nurses a litte. hehe, unless they're saying what i want to hear. I've had 1 get up me about Liam putting on 200gms in a week (as though it was too much), then the next one be easy when he's put on 500gms in a week. As for her favouring the right side, I've notice Liam does too. I've been trying to get him to go the other way too but I've decided I'm not too stressed about it. Before physiotherapists and their expensive bills I'm sure plenty of bubs favoured 1 side over another and still had full movement of their heads when they got older.

Was gonna do some more personals but am still very tired after DH's all nite sickness the other nite. When do I get to catch up on sleep????

Merry Christmas everyone!!! Hope its a great day for you all.
