Hollye - Mia would look cute walking. Its so cute when they can follow you around. Lara isn't walking yet but I'm in no hurry for her to start just yet.
Nothing much happening around here either so I have nothing exciting to report. I've posted out Lara's christening/b'day invitations too. Lara's b'day is on 26th Oct but we are having the christening/party on Sat 31st Oct. My little bub is growing up way too fast!

Wow whats going on? very quiet in here! i think we should have a update on what milestones/stages our bubs are up too since they are all approaching the BIG 1!!!!
So in the 1st 12mths of your bubba's life what have they achieved - no matter how big or small! So come on mummy's we all know you like to talk and boast about ur bundles of joy so now here is ur chance!
Miss B so far has....
2 Teeth on the bottom - top 2 are comming thru i think - can see the white under gum
Walks - tho prefers to crawl as she can do it faster
Says 6 words - Mum, Dad, Bub, Gus (the dog), hello,and Nan
She waves hello/goodbye
Can blow kisses
Points to her belly when asked where it is
Sits down and points to her feet when asked where they are
Understands simple commands like "No" and "come here"
Gives Hi5's
Shakes hands
Uses a spoon
Drinks from a cup - though has a few accidents
Has done wee wee's on the potty a few times - and yes has even done a number 2!!! caught her just in time for that one so that was a fluke!
Gets on and off her rocking horse by herself
Can open pencil cases!
and i think thats about it - well all i can remember anyway! im very proud of my little girl
Can't wait to hear how cleaver the rest of the bubs in our group are!

Hi all! Long time no post
Can't believe our little bubs are turning one
Eva is such a little character. Such a sense of humour, and just loves playing with her big sister.
Here's a few of her little milestones
6 teeth - 4 top, 2 bottom
shakes & nods her head
loves giving kisses and cuddles, even to her toys - and pats their backs while cuddling (so cute!)
not quite walking yet, has only taken one or two steps unaided
loves climbing! is constantly climbing up on the couch or going up the stairs. the other day she climbed from a chair to a table to her high chair!
loves 'singing' and dancing - as soon as she hears music she likes she waves her hands (especially at church!)
loves playing with toy phones - puts them to her ear and babbles away lol
she knows how to undo her nappies now! sooo annoying lol

Lara so far:
Has 7 teeth - 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom.
Can say: mum, dad, nanna, bub
Can furniture walk and is starting to stand unaided for short periods but hasn't taken any first steps on her own yet.
Can use a spoon
Shakes her head yes and no
Can understand the command no & come here
Can drink from a cup (some accidents as well)
Climbs onto things
That's all I can think of at the moment.
Quick question, for those of you with bubs on formula, when are you switching to cows milk? 12 months?

Sneaky - ur going to be getting Eva a mobile for her 1st bday by the sounds of it! hahahaha
Leigh - yep we will be moving on to cows milk soon - got 1.5can of 6mth+ formula left than 1 can of the 12mth plus - which i was thinking of doing the half half with cows milk - not sure really how to do it all - its a bit daunting!!!

Jack is 1 on Monday!!!! we are having his baptism/1st birthday on Sunday, and do you think i have anything ready?? NOPE
still have to get his pressies out of layby...saturday....order his baptism cake and also get stuff together to make his elmo cake.
as for things Jack does :-
says ~ dada, mama, nana, grandad, barney, birds, car, yumyum, bott bott
gives kisses & cuddles
knows where eyes/nose/mouth are
lays down and pretends to sleep when you say "nigh nigh"
gives things to me when i say "tah mumma"
is running/walking
has 8 teeth (4 top 4 bottom) with 4 molars on their way....fun fun
As for cows milk.... Jack is on the toddler formular BUT is also given sippy cups (straw cups) with cows milk in it and happily drinks it, but only 50mls at a time...gradually increasing it so he is just on cows milk

HI everyone, i've been super busy too!
Olive is going great although has been driving me a little nuts with sleep lately as she hates going to bed and fights it so much. She is also waking through the night still but is no longer having a bottle til after 7am now. She si down to 3 bottles most days now and usually only one sleep.
Olive has 8 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom) that I know of. I haven' t been able to look for ages as I usually get my finger half bitten off.
She is a chatter box and is able to say mumma, daddy, nan, bub, Katie(dog), hello, fish (and makes a fish noise when she she's one in a book, cat and meow, oh no, whats that?, yum yum.
She puts blocks and phones to her ear and says "hello".
She does hi 5's
Twinkle twinkle actions and tell us what your name is actions.
Feed herself with a spoon, bottle and cup
Walks but still crawls for long distances
Can climb onto our bed and the lounge (cheeky)
Olive has tried 'real goats milk last week as I ran out of formula and it's a 30min drive to get more so just decided to give her that and she was fine with it. I have gone back to formula for though as it more convenient when going out etc as you don't need to keep it cold. At least I know though that I can use the other and she will be fine.
I can't believe my girl will be one in 9 days. Where has the time gone??? I'm so proud of her.

Waves
walks everywhere.. much better walker then Ben was.. she can get herself up from the ground.. ben had to crawl to somethign to pull himself up.
She is on the potty 3 times a day.. we get all the poop in there but wee's that is a different story.. some when on potty but night.. not just yet!
She is in Big girl undies for about 4 hours aday.. we have a had a few accidents but i put her on the potty every 15-20min so its ok
Sleeps great through the night form 730-8am.. and then no more morning nap but afternoon nap for 3-4 hours.
uses a cup, but i prefer sip cup.. less mess for me!! LAZY
No more formula cow milk.
Says yum yum
HAs a lamb that she uses to get to sleep... no more dummy.. as i didnt want her to have one when she can talk and tell me she wants one.
I think that is all.. maybe..........

wow it has been a bit quiet in here lately. I have just been reading the latest posts and aawwwwing a lot lol.
Meara's stats
has 6 teeth - 4 top and 2 bottom
loves to stand by herself but not quite ready for 1st unaided steps
yells mum, dad, bub, bot bot and other things
tried her on cows milk but she got really bad nappy rash so back on the formula for us
climbs like a monkey lol
is waking up at night now and won't go back to sleep unless she is in bed with us grrrr
understands when I say no and ta and sit down lol
loves dancing whenever music is put on
has a real cheeky smile that constantly lights up her face
My birthday is 3 days before Meara's and on Mearas is when I'm supposed to have the egg pickup for the egg donation. I missed my 40th last year due to being in hossie with Meara and this year will miss it again because of egg donation lol will just have to remain 39 for another year : )

fluff- hehehe no worries! u might not be alone in the SAHM factor - i might be joining u soon - although i only work 1 day a week i hate the place they are making my life hell so im thinking of leaving soon!
I have a meeting with the manager on tuesday in regards to sick leave - i took a sick day on monday (my 1st in years) due to DH having to do a course so i had to stay home and look after Miss B and now im in trouble! im so over the place! so as of tuesday i might be jobless if i quit! apparently they don't like part timers - so much for the QAS being family friendly!
