sorry i havent been posting much. Been pretty hectic latley as u who are on my facebook know.

Ill do some of Mia's stats now while i have a chance (tho shes destroying the lounge room lol)

Mia got her 2nd tooth today, so she has both her bottom ones and thats it.
Shes been walking for a month now, tho still prefers to crawl. Shes walks around other ppls houses, but not mine much? mayb coz we have tiles through out??
She talks alot, says, mum, dad, nan, Mia, yay, bub, bath, wassat (whats that), up, ta, oooop (oops), dink (drink), yum, hello, eeya (seeya) eeya rater (seeya later), dont touch (mayb i have said this one too much? lol) dont, no.... and the list goes on.
Plays hide and seek and peek a boo.
    Blows kisses
takes her tops, socks and pants off all the time
    points at everything and everyone
    gives Hi-5
tries to put clothes on and shoes (she likes to dress up)
Opens cupboards, draws, fridges and anything that opens (even DVD cases.. grrr)
Loves books, will sit there turning the pages and blabbering to herself for hours.
Has good understanding of instructions like, no, dont touch, get down, stop, clap hands, brush your hair, be nice, dance etc
Can climb off the bed and couch saftley. Climbs onto everything possible.
does her booty dance to any kind of music.
Is just starting to put her toys away.

Thats all i can think of for now..

RE cows milk - we are on our last tin of formula here, and Mia is down to 2 bottles a day, one in the morning and one at night. We have about 1/2 a tin left and some sample packs. Not too sure how ill make the transition yet to cows milk, but she has abit now during the day every now and then and shes fine with it. She will be on full cows milk by the time she is 13 months.

She will eat anything. Shes still not too happy about having fruit, but she will eat it. 90% of the time she eats what we eat. When we are running behind or busy etc, she will have raffertys with some fresh veg or rice etc.

Im abit stuck atm with breakfast. She has weetbix and porridge and i rotate it. Then she has a little bit of toast after it. But is there any other cereals she can have? they freak me abit coz they can be pretty high in sugar.

also, nuts. Has anyone given their bub nuts yet? (not whole nuts obviously, peanut butter etc) we do have a nut allergy in the family, my half brother from my dads side, so im kinda weary about giving her some. But the longer i delay it the more chance of an allergy anyway. So i was thinking giving her a peanut butter sandwich sitting in the carpark of emergency (we are 30 mins from hospital).

Olives Bday in 2 days yay! Mia's next thursday

Holl - ur a crack up - ur suggestion about sitting in the car park of emergency and giving Mia a peanut butter sandwich! thats funny! good idea tho!
Miss B had some a carrot cake that i was eating the yesterday and it had nuts in it and she was fine!
Im worried about fish as DH had a reaction to iodine when he was a bub and thats in fish but i think mainly shell fish! so i brought some fish fingers today - hmmmm hoping to be game enough to do it soon!
Mia is a little girl now - no more bubba for u - whens the next one?

Hollye me personally, I haven't tried my boys on peanut butter until they were at least two, which I think is the recommend time and later if there is a peanut allergy in the family.

Ok I'll do Julian's stats since I have two seconds to myself.

He has 7 teeth and the 8th is nearly threw 4 top, 3 bottom.
He can climb off the bed and chair without falling and hurting himself.
He has been walking for two weeks now and absolutly loves been mobile.
He says mum, dad, bub, ta, ello (hello), bye, num (yum) and that's about it, he doesn't talk much when the other boys are around but does babble quite a bit when they aren't here, lol.
He's still breast fed and having about 4 feeds a day.
Having cows milk in his cereal in the morning and is drinking water from his sippy bottle.
Has found his willy and like most boys likes playing with it at any chance he can, ie nappy changes.

That's all I can think of for now.

Ok thought of a few more last night in bed

He waves hello and bye bye.
He puts his hand in your top whenever you pick him up and he plays with your shirt material (does it with anyone, including our 9 yr old).
Gets super excited when he hears daddy's voice when he comes home from work or after a nap and sees daddy for the first time of the day (very cute).
He still has 1-2 sleeps a day.

    HI everyone,
Happy belated birthday Julian!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a fantastic day.

All is good here. As it is Olive's birthday tomorrow I have been really busy with work, making cakes, threading chicken kebabs, making rissoles. Dh has put together Olive's pram and grandma has given her a doll to go with it. I'm so excited about the party tomorrow and I just can't believe my baby is one! It brings back all kinds of memories about labour and birth and bf and i'm soooo clucky! But at the same time I love this age so much, Olive is just so damned cute atm (despite sleep issues) and i'm just enjoying her so much right now. So I have made a tiered caramel mud cake which I will decorate tomorrow as well as mini patty cakes to put on a double cake stand so am hoping to have a pretty special cake.

hj - hope work gets better for you!

Amanda - next years b'day bash will have to be huge!

Hollye - i'm not to sure about nuts either. I think I will try Olive on macadamia spread first in the next few weeks. It will be good to be able to have nuts, honey etc

Hi to everyone else, hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!!

    Hi everyone,
Olive says a big thanks for all the birthday wishes. She had a great day at her party. She loved her cake and spent alot of the day pushing her new wooden pram around saying "broom, broom" with her little bum sticking up in the air. We had a lovely bbq and while I nearly got divorced making the cake it turned out beautifully.

DH just got Olive to sleep after nearly an hour of battling and crying. She is just so determined!!! She is very bright and doesn't want to miss a thing. When I have 3 weeks off at xmas my sole purpose is to get her in a proper routine, just hope I can last that long... Olive is such a lovely, happy bub except when it comes to sleep, it's very frustrating. Are all your bubs sleeping through now?

Olive is having her 1 yr old check with the nurse on friday so will post her growth stats then but I will be talking to nurse about sleep as well as allergy testing. Olive hasn't had any wheat and her ezthma was great but after her party and having some there she broke out almost straight away. I would like to get it properly tested.

Other then that I am loving this age, Olive is so interactive now. I have also been giving her some honey and little bits of whole egg now she's one and am wanting to try nuts soon, although probably not peanuts straight away.

Anyway hope you are all doing well, nite nite

Yay CW!!! im glad the party was a success!!!!! Mia has slept through now.. for...ummm... oh 7ish months?? (not trying to boast). She still has the odd bad night here and there. We have always been really strict with her routine, which i think is the reason why. Thats no good about her breaking out abit, its a great idea to get some testing done.

I tried to use normal soap on Mia tonight.. instant red rash everywhere. guess my soap free days arnt over yet.

just 2 more sleeps until my girl is 1!!! boohooo!

yeah kat, same with Mia. I cant remember when she started sleeping through.. it was very young. it was when she was put on formula.. about a week after that.. so 2 months ish? who knows lol

Tho shes waking latley coz she goes all weird in her cot and bumps her head.. gets all tangled in her blankets etc. So once a night i have to get up just to untangle her and get her all proper again, and she goes back to sleep. is there anything i can do about this??? strap her down to the bed lol joke

So cute about his new word that must sound so cute. love ur new ticker by the way. I notice he is 1yr 1month and 1 day old today.. 111

we have a heater in Jacks room for the really cold nights...but Jack has a polar fleece bottom fitted sheet (coz it stays warm he doesn't need another sheet) and only 1 blanket...which he sleeps ON most nights.... he crawls round/walks round his cot non stop...ends up sleeping in some WEIRD positions!!!

Hi All - just a really quick one

CW - im really glad Olive had a good day! its hard to believe that our babies were born a year ago or almost a year ago now!

Looks like Miss B's party might be cancelled! she has been really sick with a nasty virus thanks to a "friend" and her baby! im really not happy infact im quite upset to think that my baby girls 1st bday party might be taken away from her - and not only but from me and DH also due to someones selfishness and lack of responsibility!
i have posted it on here somewhere! - we even had a trip to hospy!

anyways B was due 12mths ago today! how cool is that!

    HI all,

How is everything going, and hope all these little bubs are ready for their 1st B'day.

Well thought I would post a quick one and let you all know how V is doing.
We had her weighed last Friday at her pead, and these are her stats:
    Weight: 5.90kg
    Length: 65cm
    HC: 45cm
Still little, but they are happy with her in every other aspect of her development. She still isnt walking yet, crawling everywhere though, still not standing on her own yet but with time she will. She is more happier though to give standing a go now. I can just imagine how small she is going to look once she does start walking around. She is a little chatterbox, and just talks her baby talk as if she is having a conversation with you, every now and then a word will pop out that makes it all make sense. lol.
She says, (Look), ook, Mum, Dad, Ada, (Adam), Nunni, (food), Nanna, Hello, Hmmmmm, Mmmm Nunna, when she likes what she is eating, she tries to bark like the dogs, funny, also tries to make the sound of the phone ringing. also funny. She points waves, and always smiling. Loves her brothers and sisters. Ohh and even though she hasnt said poopoo for a little while, she knows how to say that, ohh and No, shaking her head. There have been a few one off words, but will wait until they become more often words. hehehe
Anyway must go and will chat soon. Hugs

    Hi girls,

I've been away for about a week, DH and I went to Brisbane, was my first time away from the kids for 3 days. I bawlled my eyes out leaving them but had such a good time! It was our 2nd wedding anniversary yesterday.

I've been trying to read all the posts that I have missed, I will try and reply to them now, sorry if I miss some of you though, I don't have a lot of time at the moment.

Happy Birthday to all the bubs over the past week. Gosh can't believe our bubs are 1 or just about to turn one. Where has the year gone???

Lara is 1 next Monday (26th) but we are having her party on Sat 31st. I got the rest of her presents today. Got to wrap them all up now!

HJ - I'd be annoyed and disappointed about having to cancel B's birthday party too. Especially her 1st birthday. Hopefully she will make a quick recoverery and you wont have to cancel it!!!

Csab - Good to hear from you. Sounds like little V is coming along nicely! Clever girl indeed!

Hollye - Thanks for finding the birthday list. Lara stole some of DD1's toast with peanut butter on it about 2 months ago. I freaked a little bit but she was fine. Havent tried her on it properly though. Good luck for when you try Mia. Mia sounds like a little chatter box with all those words! DD1 is a big talker and never shuts up. Our GP jokingly said Lara wont talk until she is 4 coz DD1 answers everything for her.

Well my time is up, I can hear Lara crying from her cot. I'll try and be back later, if not I will try tomorrow!
