Kass its Jack that has to be done his foreskin is very tight can't be retracted at all and sometimes when he pees, his little penis balloons up and he can't control where the pee goes so to avoid problems in the future and infections he has to have one, the surgeon said it is wuite bad and the alternative of steroid creams wont work we are hoping luke wont be the same when heis older

JB I finally read that poem and it is beautiful!! Not sad like I thought it would be after everyone said they had tears in their eyes. Just beautiful and so true, I love the quiet night feeds where me and Leila enjoy a special bonding experience

Rach221 glad you like Leila's Santa photo! I love you little picture too. I notice everyone has pictures on FB but unfortunately I'm perhaps the only person in the world that isn't on FB!! I just don't think I would have the time to keep it updated which is why I haven't bothered.

Rach75 hope little Jack is ok and that his little procedure goes well

Stevie, don't stress about having to FF. I'm amazed that you managed to continue BF for so long with all the trouble you have had, you've done a brilliant job you might even find that by giving a couple of FF you will give your poor bb's a chance to heal and may be able to combine BF with FF. Either way it really doesn't matter as we can all see how much you adore your little girl and I think as long as they are loved it really doesn't matter if they are BF or FF.

Boomba - great to see you back in here and great news about Flynn being such a porker!

Dedicated Mummy what do you mean about not having dad around? Is he workimg too much or just not spending quality time with the girls? I worry that my DH isn't spending enough time with Leila but when I suggest he interact with her or put her to bed or whatever he gets really sensitive and says I'm making out that he is a bad father! If I don't suggest he do stuff with her then usually he doesn't so what do I do? Men!

AFM not much to report, all going well. Am waiting to hear back from MCHN as I wanted to take Leila in today to get weighed - my local one is only open on Tuesday which is a pain so if I can't go in today I'll have to wait until next week. Oh well, from what I can tell Leila is growing well and is certainly a happy little baby so I'm not worried about anything, would just be nice to be reasurred with a weight check.

    have a great day everyone

My dad Passed away in Feb
I used to worry that Clint wasn't spending enough time with Annabelle when she was 1st born. I found the older she got the more he got involved! I would get him to have baths with her etc, built there bond really well!
Now he just adores spending time with his girls at any age. Let your Dp do things without giving him 'advice' unless he asked. I had to learn to let Clint do things his way with the girls and come to me and ask if he really wasn't sure. I found this helped him bond even more as he didn't feel like a student and me the teacher

Rach75- Fair enough. I always said I wouldn't get my sons done unless it 'needed' to be done. Poor bubba must be heartbreaking seeing go through it!

DM I'm so sorry for the loss of your father and sorry for misinterpreting your post I know it's not the same but my dad lives interstate and suffers from terrible depression at times. Unfortunately he is not well with his depression at the moment and has yet to see his new grand daughter, my mum has been to visit me twice but unfortunately dad has no interest at the moment which is very disappointing. Like I said, no where near the same thing but I do still worry about Leila not having her grandfather around.

Thanks for the advice about DH. It is so hard to say things without sounding like you are telling them what to do but I think you are right, I should just leave DH to it and let him figure things out for himself or come to me for advice if he needs it.
