Chokos are those weird wrinkly green vegies that look like a dehydrated pear. They're very very watery and mild tasting. My nan grew them, I never liked them much but I didn't hate them either, there's nothing about them to like or hate. I can see them being easy for a baby to eat.
I mixed the pumpkin with the rice cereal, but I guess I'll try something else. Pity I mashed up all that pumpkin, I thought at the time "I should keep some of this and bake it for us" but we aren't having any baked meals this week so the pumpkin would have gone bad. Oh well, maybe he'll eat it in a week or 2 and it will keep in the freezer.
I want to start on vegies so maybe I will try a choko. "They" say that you set whether you prefer sweet or savoury by what you're first exposed to as a baby, so I want to avoid sweet, I only tried a little banana just to see but he didn't want a bar of it anyway.
