    Hi!

I'm so excited - Louis slept last night from 8pm-6.30am! I can't believe it! I'm definitely not waking him for that 10.30pm feed ever again! hehe. I'll just let him wake if he wants one from now! Of course I woke at 5.30am to dh alarm and made him check on him!! then I struggled to get back to sleep...anyway I fed him in bed at 6.30 and we both dozed for another 1/2 an hour!

Bonnie - Glad you had a great night out! That sounds annoying with the dog - can you put his toys into a tub while he's not using them??

Kell - You must love it when their both asleep! hehe.

Krisvee - you must be so happy after such a good sleep! I agree with letting him wake if he wants feeding, we did the same with Will and he just didnt wake up so I assume he didnt need the food Congrats!

Bonnie - Yuck on the dog slobber! Playpens are great for keeping little ones in place, and in your case keeping furry ones out!

Ah it’s been busy in here!

Jo – Oh I can just picture Sammy with the pasta mess. He’s such a trooper that boy! I actually feel like a weight has been lifted from me atm too, fingers crossed it lasts! And yes I have a vampire. Lucie bites and gees it hurts. Sometimes I think she nearly draws blood! But that’s not on the boobie – ouchy!!!!!!!!!! Love the new pic of Sammy too. He looks so grown up!

Bec – Nice to hear of another small eater too. Lucie is best at dream feeds too, when they can’t get too bored or frustrated I guess! How is Joshy going anyway? I love books too. Fortunately my mum does too and used to be a librarian. She’s coming up at Easter with a new supply for Lucie! Love Josh’s pic too!

Cass – It’s weird seeing bubs that small isn’t it? I saw a 6 day old yesterday and can’t believe Lucie used to be that small. Try the biccies too – a lot cheaper than rusks! Bet there are teeth coming too for Kaitlyn.

Georgie – How frustrating being on hold for so long. Hope you finally got through. Relaxing seems to be working too. Fingers crossed! I feel quite a bit better in myself. DH actually asked the other night whether I thought I might have PND. And you know, I have thought it for a long time but no one actually ever said anything to me. So it was a nice kinda acknowledgement and now I feel like I can move on, does that make sense? Will mention it to GP though.

Storm – Zac will soooooo quickly get the knack of sitting for ages now. Lucie picked it up in a matter of days and now looks like a pro! It doesn’t take them long at all.

Fletch – How are you going and how is Zane?

Well I’m hopefully a more relaxed mummy. Had a 120 and 150ml feed today, normally I’d be freaking about that but nup! Little miss was caught sucking a battery this morning!!!!!! And she is pulling herself up on absolutely everything at the moment – standing is now her favourite past time. Oh I don’t want her to walk soon.

Benjamin loves his tucker, but is only interested in pear and banana rice cereal with added banana and ebm. He'd have the banana on its own if he could too. He has half a cup for breakfast and then again at dinner time. He'll have his b/f half an hour to an hour before these meals then again to wash it all down just before he nods off. He is now sleeping from 8:30pm to 5am.

Bonnie - Ewww dog slobber! I have a cat here, but it only drools on DH. Our cat has already learnt to keep away from the Benjamin since he pulled his tail.

An hour ago I would have said, No, Zac doesn't bite! But he must of jumped on & read about it & thought he would give it a try.So..........
Yes zac bites too! He was using my knuckles as a cheese grater, but now he bites them OUCHIES.
And he also has a fascination looking down my shirt ( I don't know why there is nothing down there)(((( hence, the sh sh operation LOL))))he grabs my shirt & pulls it out & looks like well, Bill would being cheeky.

JO yep, hoping for a girl, not pg yet, want to wait til May, but don't IYKWIM or cant! How is Super Sammy today?

=D> for Lucie!Good girl, keep drinking all your bottles. And standing? gee Soph, you sure have a clever little girl!!

I have a question for you all:
Do you wash babies washing seperate to everybody elses?
I do & I find it really hard to get a full load, when can you just chuck it alll in with the rest? & What with, surley not the sox or undies yeah yeah, 4 th baby. But I cant remember what I used to do back then, it was 9 years ago I* think* I waited til they were 1, but I dunno.

Georgie, there are numbers you can punch in when your on a call to put you straight through to a person, but being blonde i cant remember what they are. I think it was on today tonight, might go to their website & have a look.*** just went & had a look & it was for banks, another quality blonde moment***

Hope everybody is having a lovely day!

Hi Storm! Nah she's not drinking all her bottles by a long shot, but you know, what more can I do???? How's Zac now? With the washing, I just chuck the entire lot in together. I did do separately for the first month or two, but then I figured, if she sleeps in our bed etc, and we hold her wearing our clothes, what's the difference really???? And it saves time! So I take it that the sh sh op will mean you might need to buy a new bikini???? How exciting! And yeah Lucie is standing and crawling and sitting and moving around like a mad woman. It's so bizarre because I think she is the smallest bub and seems to have stalled in that respect too, but otherwise she is coming along in leaps and bounds. But she doesn't take in enough energy to burn it like she does!

Just made up a tonne of pureed vegies (pumpkin, potato, carrot, broccoli, peas, zucchini and squash) and chicken. Now what's a bet she refuses to eat it!

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good day.

Mitch, sounds like you are flat out, don't know how you manage to fit everything in, you must be mega organised!

Tegan, that is so cute of Lily, cheeky girl! Kaleb doesn't have the ABC zoo (yet!) but he has the Little People farm and he absolutely loves it, plays with it heaps. I agree, Fisher Price stuff is great.

Dach, good to hear from you! Wow, only one week to go... I shall be keeping an eye out for news! IKWYM, I am worried about how Kaleb is going to be with the baby (more about that later) but thanks for reminding me I need to get a gift for him for when bub arrives, that is a good idea. Re: the pee & poo terminology, I actually just use 'pee' and 'poo'...it would be disconcerting, but also hilarious, to hear a toddler saying 'I $hit'!

Kellee, have a great time away, look forward to hearing all about it when you get back! Kaleb is still a shocker with the teeth brushing. I feel the same, I don't want to give it negative associations, but it is hard. He loves having the toothbrush to copy me when I'm doing mine, but as soon as I try and do his he has a tantrum, throws himself on the floor and clamps his mouth shut. Some days are worse than others, so I just try and do what I can on the good days, and hopefully he'll start to cooperate if I persist (wishful thinking!)

Mooshie, good to hear from you too, hope Lani continues to get better and that you don't have to go through the antibiotics thing any more!

Well, I've had a bad couple of days, I am really stressing out over Kaleb's behaviour. He is pretty good at home and in familiar surrounds, but anywhere new and he goes nuts. He is so aggressive, and I honestly don't know where it's coming from, because DH and I are not aggressive people. Yesterday arvo we went to look at a car, and there was 2 small kids at the house. He just runs around the yard taking their toys and pushing them out the way. When I hold him and tell him 'NO' he screams and hits the kids. We went to playgroup this morning and it was constant pushing kids out the way, yelling at them, and throwing himself on the ground screaming when I tell him off. We were playing with balls, and when it was time to put them away, he just cracked and went up to the nearest kid and pulled his hair. I just had to leave then before I started crying in front of everyone. The main thing I want to know is, should I persist in getting him to socialise with other kids, or should I just avoid these sorts of situations for a while?

Sorry for the mega post, but I feel pretty desperate at the moment.

OH Jo you poor thing! Kaleb is used to being at home with all his own toys and everything is his, I am guessing that's why he wants everything when he is oat other peoples houses and playgrp. To me that is natural behaviour, it is hard when he hurts the other kids. I know you have been trying to get him to stop, have you removed him from the situation and tried to calm him before allowing him to reenter the situation. Kids have trouble controlling their emotions at this age. Jess is also abit volitile in some situations, and will scream and tantrum too, but the fact is she is always getting things taken off her and snatched away cos she has 3 above her. In the home environment he has no reason to feel threatened. I think you need to try to be calm after he has misbehaved, firstly, getting down on his level and talking calmly, telling him he can't hurt the kids, and has to wait his turn for the toy for eg. If he is angry just try to hold him and keep talking to him calmly to try to soothe him, when he calms down you could go with him and help him get a toy or talk to the kids and try to get him to play nicely. I hope this heps you, it's not easy when our kids don't behave, cos we feel like we have done something wrong, but you are a good mum and Kaleb is a typical kid to me! As for tooth brushing, I don't really push it until they are about 3. Then I get them to do it everyday (Hopefully). Jess will brush hers at all timesof the day and I let her.

    nothing to share really
been online way too long and really done nothing LOL Have heaps to put on ebay and am doing nothing about it, should do it but am feeling tired.

    have a nice arvo

Good for you Storm..re hush hush op Bring on May eh you lucky thing...did you make your ttc based on a matey for Zaccy or were you planning on anyway...oh sorry hope you dont mind the questions :-k , I wash all clothes together too..for the first few months everything was separate cos there were all the extra sickie rags and blankets and stuff..now its just all in with ours. Sorry for jinxing Zac too with the biting...i should have whispered.

Soph lots of little pocket rockets are sooo zoomy. I can remember a couple of littluns at playgroup years ago that looked so cute cos they were moving around..maybe with the lack of heaviness its easier for them to move :smt102 Sending more eating vibes your way too hon :eat: :eat: :eat: Yummy Lucies food sounds great..wtg you are so motivated..im like oh geez whats left!!!

Im packing madly...god theres so much to take for a family of 6 camping. Darren just rang me and said rest please..i think he forgets how much there is to do every day! Silly man.

    Hi Girls ,

you know Jo maybe your lack of heaviness leading to moving statement is very very true!. Kaitlyn is not sitting , or crawling and she only pulls herself up on us not furniture so perhaps that is it!. It makes sense as there is a larger load to support hehehe..I could not be so mean to my little Kaitlyn!. Camping ...arrghhhhh you are brave that is my worst nightmare...public showers ..no hairdryer or proper mirrors for make up ...dirt dirt dirt ...and worst of all SPIDERSSSSSSSSSS. Mmmmm can you tell I am not a big fan of camping. I think that will all change once Kaitlyn is older as I know she will love it!. I hope you have a great trip.

Great cooking effort Soph!. I am so envious that Lucie is so mobile ..what a clever little vegemite!. I have notice that Kaitlyn is now bored with one Vege or two Vege combos! She likes three!.

Storm I do all our washing together using Lux Flakes ...I think I started doing that about two months ago for the same problem you are having now trying to fill a load. Love the shsh operation hehehe. Kaitlyn pulled my top out the other day look down it and then puked ..argggghh.

    Georgie
I jinxed myself talking to you about wraps last night!. Kaitlyn who will normally sleep with one arm loose did not fall asleep properly until 1130pm last night when I finally wrapped her tight!

I have noticed Kaitlyn has a tooth which looks like it is visable through the front of the gum rather then the top ..is this normal?.

I was given a flyer thing from a girl in my prenatal class which talks about routines and also moods by week for children as they develop. Let me know if you are interested and I will be happy to email it through to you all.

Well guess I better run , I am sitting here with a hair mask and face mask on . I am off out with the girls from my work for a couple of drinks tonight and am SOOOOOO looking forward to it!.

    Have a great night.

on the solids front, Tori is having about 2 tablespoons (thats mixed) of farax with apple added to it and we mix it with formula. She had that for dinner and tomorrow i will start it for lunch too, she would have more if i let her!
She is still not sleeping through though, is up at 3 for a quick top up! And she does that no matter what time she goes down unfortunately. She wants to sleep on her tummy all the time now does anyone elses bub do that?
SHe has been pretty chucky the last few days which is a pain, im not sure if its related to the solids or not. She is actually waking up like an hour or so after her feeds whether it was just the boob or not and chucking.

I had a terrible day with her today at work, she is really clingy today, not happy unless she can see me or herself! I have worked out how to stop her crying though, just put her in front of a mirror and she smiles away no matter how upset she seems to be.

    Gotta go, she is calling

Cindy - my MCHN said that if they seem to be more chucky than usual it could be from apple because it is quite acidic. How cute about the mirror!
