Nic - You poor thing, IMO your MIL is being disrespectful to you by not doing as you ask. What does your DH think about it? (I love it that my MIL lives in Brisbane LOL!)

Just caught a quick bit on the settling thing. Amara has become a geat self settler, totally by luck as I don't leave my babies to cry but I am stoked all the same. I usually wrap her, give the dummy and then give her a kiss and say night night, then lay her down. If she does not settle and I hear fussing, grunting etc I go back 'cos it usually means she has lost her dum. If I do it more than 10 ins or so it usually means I have to get her up and try on the next sleep cycle (20 ins or so).

We have gone back to being a night time feaster though Last night, 1.30am, 4am and 6.30am, I am tired as!
