Rang around all the childcare centres to confirm our interest. One place didn't have any record of our application. Lucky I had kept a record of who I spoke with as when I mentioned the name of the person it seemed like she wasn't very reliable. And I am trusting my child to these people???? Anyway, they have backdated my application so I "retain" my place on the list. Was actually offered days at 2 places if I wanted to put him in immediately. Going to visit one of the centres tomorrow.
