    Hey everyone!

Not much happening here, K has popped a top tooth and another is about to pop so he has been pretty cranky. Today he seems a lot happier though. I wasn't enjoying a screaming bub who continually throws himself backwards in anger! Man he has a temper on him when he is out of sorts ! His cold was getting better, but yesterday he started coughing again and he has a red rash-looking thing on his left cheek. Not sure what that's about.

DH & I went to the movies on Saturday night to celebrate our 10 years together. My mum came and looked after the boys, I think it was the first time we've gone out alone since we've had K!! We had La Premier tickets (like Gold Class) and went and saw Mamma Mia. No offence to those who liked the movie, but I HATED it!! We had such a nice time out though so it didn't really matter!

Celtic - Hi! Nice to hear from you! How's Ryan going?

Mo - How sweet that Sammi had a suprise baby shower! Who organised it?

Ange - How is your pregnancy going? I was near your neck of the woods on Saturday, we went to the St A market with some friends.

Becky - I'm so glad that Chelsea's measles have gone. That's great you got to go out on Saturday night without the kids, it's nice to have some freedom sometimes! I hope Liam goes OK in daycare this time, I know exactly how you would have felt when Liam was crying.

Amber - Those bike seats are great aren't they? We haven't tried K in ours yet, but DH takes Joel out in it all the time. They have a wonderful time together. I can't believe Myles still poos in the toilet!!

Amelia - Welcome back! It's great to hear from you

alz - Sounds like Ethan isn't far off from walking! I hope he gets over his vacuum and water phobias! Let us know how he goes with cows milk.

Misskate - Thanks for not lurking and saying hello LOL! You're organised planning Lachlan's birthday party! I haven't even thought about K's yet . We have to make it a double party because Joel & K's birthdays are so close!

Saffi - Yay to L for having great night sleeps!!! I hope he keeps it up for you. He is doing lots of tricks now, what a clever boy!

    Hi to everyone I've missed!

    Good morning all.
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. We did... DH had Sun n Mon off work, so headed out hnting on Sun with his mates, then Mon shopping, trying to find his mum a birthday present. Hmmmm now wasn't that fun! lol It was nice just having a bit of time for the three of us.
Tiera has been really whingy the last week or so, very clingy with me and just not happy at all. I think it is her teeth giving her a hard time again and sh has evn been waking at night (which is really unlike her). Last night she was a very tired little princess so I gave her some baby nerofin n put her to bed at 6:45 (which is about half n hr early for her) and she slept throgh without so much as stiring until 7am this morning! She has ben in the best mood this morning, its been a lot of fun. atm she is down having a nap, so hopefully we will have a great afternoon!

Trish - Its so horrible when the little ppl r out of sorts! I really hope K is feeling better soon!
Boomba - Tiera loves the bike too! I have been taking her out each afternoon for the past couple of months now and I too feel great. They look so gorgeous in their little helmuts dont they?!
Celtic - Good to hear from u again. Its funny how so many of us have just came back after a fair break! :-) Hope Ryan is doing weel. And I see u r going to start TTC as of Nov, I wish u all the best of luck with that!
Becky - So glad to hear Chels is better. That must have been so horrible for you all. Hope Liam isn't getting it too!
MissKate - Good to hear from u. Good to hear things are going well for you. Hope to see you around here again soon
alz - How funny.... Tiera hates the vacum too! Silly thing is I am the one that vacuums n whe I turn it on she just wants me, so insted of running away, she runs to me! hahaha Josh too tries to make it a game, but T doesn't want a bar of it. Nice to hear from again. Hope 2 c u around here more often.
Amelia - lol My biggest fear is having twins! I have twins that run in BOTH sides of my family. Theygo back generations, but my nan had twins and I have twin brothers, so when we started TTC with Tiera, I was sooooo paranoid! lol and I know I will be with the next one too!

Anyways I really have to get Tiera's birthday invites done n sent!
    Take care all
    PS I hope I haven't missed anyone

Hi girls, I have only just realised that there is a new thread I thought it was strange that no one had posted in so long. I am losing the plot!

Anyhow's .... its only 18 days until we will be celebrating Tay's 1st birthday! I cannot believe my baby is turning 1! And she is getting such a big girl now, she crawls at 100 miles an hour, pulls herself to her knees and this morning went to stand to try and get a bottle. This is a big achievement, as both my girls have low body tone, meaning they dont do these things early! Mia didnt walk until 18 months, so we will see if Tay is any quicker.

Other than that not much news, all getting over the last few weeks of being sick with the horrid flu that is travelling around. Still have a niggley cough, hoping that goes away soon!

I hope you are all well, wanted to say hi and glad that I found you all again!

LOL Kazaraz! I reckon that's what happens with most of our newbies, they always seem to disappear when the thread closes! Welcome back . Yay to Taygan for pulling herself to her knees!

Ange - I'm a bit of a market addict too LOL! Have you ever been to the Camberwell market? I haven't tried the falafels at St A's, I love their coffee though and I love how they give you a real mug that you can take around with you while you look around.

Pish - I hope a Tiera pops a tooth and goes back to her happy self! What did you end up getting your MIL? We have to buy MIL a pressie for her birthday this weekend and have NO idea what to get!

    Evening all!

L's latest trick is him giving me the object he's holding when I put my hand out and say "ta". It only took about 2 mins to teach him that. He's copying everything we do. Is anyone else finding that?

The other night I kissed him on his forehead and then kissed his teddy, then kissed him again. He then held up his teddy for me to kiss again. We did that at least 10 times. So cute.....

After 4 good nights had a few bad nights. He's also been waking at 6am. Can only get worse as summer gets closer.

Amelia - great to hear from you.
Becky - we've been really well, thanks for asking.
Trish - KWYM about Mamma Mia! I was interested how they wove the songs into the story. It was worth going just to hear that Pierce Brosnan can't sing! L has a temper too! Had a major Mr Crankypants going on yesterday.

    Anyway, hi to everyone else.

Saffi you sound like you have a smart little fella, the only things Tay is saying is Mum, Dad, and she tries to say Mia and Benji (the dog). But she is copying actions and also helping Mia do things she is not meant to be doing! The cutest is when you tell her to come to you and she gets her speed up to get to you whilst pulling a scrunched up little face! They are great at this age that is for sure. STAY AWAY TERRIBLE TWO'S!!!!!!

    Hello all,
Caden is still booby fed and is on about 4 feeds a day, although the last few days he has dropped a feed so I have been feeling fairly full! I always express in the evenings so I can use the milk the next day (and have avoided lumps which I got heaps in teh begining) in his food. Not sure what is going on but he doesn't seem to mind it. He still wakes up at around 4am for a big feed and then wont have any when he wakes up at 7, but whilst I don't like the broken sleep, I figure I will just go with the flow for a while and see how he goes.

Saffi - wow he sounds so smart! My lil fella is only just getting the hang of mumma, dadda, nanna, nana (like banana) and normal gibberish. He is so happy to get into bed and grab his doggy and suck his thumb that he doesn't give a second thought to kissing me goodnight! That is so gorgeous tho, I love it how they are getting so much more interactive.

Quick question - do any of your babies snore? My lil fella does a fair bit, almost puts his dad to shame. Not sure if I should worry?

As for us, I think the molars might be on the move because he had a really terrible day the other day. Things have settled down now tho so hopefully they are a way off. I hate the teething and it really seems to bother him, so fingers crossed they either come quickly or stay away.

Well, have a great week everyone

Wow I can't believe I am the first to write in here today, we are usually the last ones up, but since returning from Fiji, Tiera now gets up at 6:30ish. I love my sleep! lol

Saffi - I find that Tiera does a lot of copying these days! Her latest trick is waving to everyone. It is so much fun when they imitate you, and pick up on so much... It makes playing with them so funny! :-) It does sound like you have a clever little man.
Trish - Tiera is all back to normal again so I dunno if that freak'n tooth will come through just yet! Its driving me bonkers so I can only imagine what she feels like... Poor little bubbas have to go through so much! We got MIL wine glasses for her birthday. She only has plastic ones and drinks a lot of ine so it just didnt make any sence!
Dragonbub - Tiera only snores when her little nose is stufy... Which I guess isn't really snoring. I haven't heard of a snoring baby before!

As for us..... hmmmm we really aren't very exciting! Nothing going on around here atm! Tiera is laughing at EVERYTHING this morning... It is too cute.
Oooooooooooh.... We had friends over the other night and they have a little boy the same age as T (3 days older to be exact!) and the two of them were playing in a little tunnel we have and Tiera started poking her head in and out of it, playing peek-a-boo with him!!!! He was laughing his head off... It was so funny and oh so cute! They play amazing well together, better than with any other babies.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Trish- Heya, how are your gorgeous boys going? Ryan's currently sucking down a bottle in his rocker. He has been a bit sick and spread it around the family we are pulling him out of daycare in 2wks as he has been so ill from there and needs to get his left ear tested from all the ear infections he's got. Congrats on 10 years together and I hope K feels better soon, Ry's getting teeth #7 & 8 at the moment so isn't all that happy either!

Pish- Thank you, I was actually really suprised DP said he was having so much fun with Ry now and he's so much easier to look after and a lot more independant he was wondering if I'd consider another one! I'm sort of scared to go through it all again but know you make it out the other side with a gorgeous little bundle to show for it so hoping things go smoother next time. Getting my last cervical cancer shot today and chicken pox in 4wks then good to go :-). How's the cranky one today? Teeth still hurting? How many does she have now?

Saffi- Aww how cute, yes Ry is being a copy cat too, waves bye-bye and trying for ta, we get 'ga' close enough hehe.

Question for those with older ones, when do they start walking? Ryan pulls himself to stand on everything and shuffles along to reach for things and can let go and stand for about 3 seconds before going plonk on his hiney, should he be doing more or less at 11months?

We had the worst night last night ... the girls refused to go to bed, and when we finally got Tay to sleep Mia woke her up. So it took another hour to settle her. Mia refused to go to sleep and got out of bet at least 6 times (I stopped counting). I ended up giving her a dose of panadol and another bottle just to get her to bed. Then she was upset as she has bitten a hole in her dummy, and being 2 and a half, I dont think I want to get her another one. But am trying to be strong on that, because its so easy to give them a dummy for comfort. SO I dont know if her teeth are hurthing or what, but she gives that dummy a really good work out. So after no settling, and getting about again at about 1 I caved and let her come to bed with me. This was then followed by Tay about 1/2 hour later waking up. She come in as well and had a bottle, then decided it was playtime! So she was put back into her cot, and surprisingly went back to sleep. Mia has woken up today with a runny nose and is being whingy. I am praying that its not the flu back, as we have just had 4 weeks of it in our house! *sigh* That is my vent! Sorry to bore you all.

Dragonbub - my oldest (No 2 and a half) snores. I dont think its anything to worry about, but maybe just mention it to your gp to be on the safe side.

Celticmoon - Mia didnt walk until 18 months, but in saying that, she was late because she has low body tone. In my mother's group, they all did it at different stages. Starting at 10 months, to 18 months. I think they all do it at their own pace. If your little one is pulling himself up, he is getting there!

I hope the day gets better!

Kazaraz- Sounds like a rotten night how are YOU feeling today? I'm dead to the world without sleep don't feel human at all, hope you all get to sneak in a nap today :-). Thanks for the info, the dr's always ask what Ryan is doing, he only just started to crawl properly (my god he moves fast!) before that he was a belly crawler and they were stressing me about it but like you said they all do it in there own time . Fingers crossed for a better night for you all, I can't complain Ryan slept till 4am and went straight back down after his belly was re-filled till just before 7.

Has anyone had the cervical cancer vaccine? Had my last one today my arm is ill tempered about it but I knew it was coming :P

So far celtic I am ok, but Tay has crashed. She got up and I could tell she was still tired, so I fed her toast and she went back down with a bottle. Needless to say she is still asleep. I am going to take the girls out this afternoon, we have been couped up in the house all week and I think we have cabin fever!

A nap sounds very enticing though!

He sounds like he is doing well to me, Tay is almost 12 months and she has only been crawling properly for a few weeks! She was rocking on all fours for ages, then started belly crawling, then crawling properly but backwards, before she finally took off. Like your little one, there is no stopping her now. They look so cute when they motor along I think!

Trish- Happy annaversary that sounds like a lovely night out! Our 3yr annaversary is only a few weeks away and NFI what we will do cause its such a busy month for us.
its MIL,SIL and dh bday within 3 days of each other, than annaversary then Ty's bday then my neices.
Anyway i have sent out Ty's bday invites, i used an online place that u pic the template then send the pics, really quick and easy and very happy with them. We are having a do on sunday 12th, but not huge mostly just family and a few friends. I have picked the cake i will make a catapillar its very cute!

ok i come in here to update on why i havent been in long and dragonbub what Nixon is going through atm may be of some interest to you

Quick question - do any of your babies snore? My lil fella does a fair bit, almost puts his dad to shame. Not sure if I should worry?

Basically children should NOT snore. if they do its worth mentioning it next time at the docs and get it checked out. It may be a case of being clogged up i know i snore if i have a cold.
But Nixon has ALWAYS snored even as a baby, we didnt think much of it but the last 2 motnsh it has gotten severe, he struggles to breath in his sleep to the point i had to video it so i had proof. we saw our gp who reffered us to a ENT (ear nose, throat) specialist, which we saw YESTERDAY.
without even going for a sleep study or anything we are booked for surgery, he has quiet bad sleep apnea (stops breathing n his sleep) and has to have his tonsils and adenoids out. Doc wanted to do it 13th oct but the day before Ty's 1st birthday i didnt want to do. so its booked for the day after his bday on the 15th.
we have a hearing test booked for next thursday and depeneding on the outcome of that is if he may need grommets in his ears.

    BBL to finish

back- it can also cause learning difficulties and beahvourial problems because they are not getting the required quality of sleep they need.
Nixon has always been a LONG sleeper but its prob all connected.
At 2.5yrs he still sleeps 2-3hrs during the day and a further 10-12hrs at night. his body is working hard o get the sleep he needs, then he wakes up very cranky because he hasnt had quality sleep.
sorry dont want to worry you into something Caden may not have, but had i heard someone going through this earlier i may have gotten onto it sooner too.....

Celtic - Tiera is much better today, but no sign of anymore teeth!!! I just wish I pull them all down so she doesn't have to go through all of this. She only has the two botom teeth! So there are a lot more to come yet!
I too have had the c/c vaccine (I've had 2 now) and they were horrible! I had my 2nd dose last week and it really hurt. lol I am a BIG hater of needles so booking in to have one almost makes me cry!
Kazaraz - I hope you get some sleep this afternoon and you have a better night tonight, I know its bad enough when you have a bad night with one bub, let alone haveing two little kidlings to contend with!

Holy crap Nickers- That would have been alot for you to take in. You go to the Dr's about snoring and next thing you know your little man is booked in for surgery. Glad they got onto it promptly though. Will be thinking of you all on the 15th.
