    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYLES!
i HOPE YOU ALL HAVE SUCH A GREAT DAY!

Where has this year gone peoples?!?!?! I have been crying over pics of Tiera as a new born! I just dont have my little baby anymore and it has only been 12 months! I still just can't got over the transformations these little go throw in such a short amount of time. I love my precious little angel so much and she is such a fun little character that keeps us laughing and definately keeps us on our toes! lol I enjoy our night cuddles so much, cuz thats the only time I get em from her these days

Becky - I hope you start having more success with the toilet training. It must be hard for you and for little Liam. I must say I'm really not looking forward to TT Tiera! Oh... Tiera is having a butterfly theme at her birthday too, but for her cake we'll be having 3 tiers of pink cup cakes with little butterflies on top! Any our little girls seem to be doing the same things! Tiera races over to the door when ever Josh comes home and shouts dad dad! It is so cute... But she also says Dad dad EVERY time we see a dog. We have 3 dogs of our own and Josh takes her outside to pat the puppies a lot so I think she just assosiates them with him lol Josh is trying to teach her to say pup pup insted!

Celtic - DH n I have soooooooo much trouble agreeing on baby names too! I have threaten to put off TTC until we have agreed on names! lol Riley is such a gorgeous name. I like a lot of T names, which makes things even harder for us as we have Tiera n me, Tiffany and for me thats enough T's. In DH's fam there is Josh (DH), his brother Jason and little sister Jaimi-Lee, then his parents are Robyn and Russell! Thats enough J's and R's I think too! lol Its all personal choice when it comes to these things. Go with what you love!

Mo - That must have been a HUGE scare for you... You poor thing. I'm so glad to hear everything is ok for you and bub. Take it easy and I wish you all the best for a relaxing and enjoyable 6 months that you have left being pg with this little one.

A big HELLO to anyone I have left out - Trish, Kellie, Kazaraz, Saffi, Amelia, Kate

I hope everyone has a great day !

Sigh ... is anyone having trouble with their 1 year olds, or almost 1 year olds being really unsettled? Tay is so bad at the moment, is waking during the night, crying all the time, following me around crying and when I am busy, like changing Mia, crawling up my leg to get picked up. I am not sure if its teeth, as I put bonjella on her gums and she cried so it must have hurt or its seperation anxiety. Mia never crawled up my legs trying to get picked up. I hope that she picks up by Saturday ... I really dont want an unhappy birthday girl!

Mo - Oh how scary. Im so glad it looks like everything is going to be fine though. Make sure you take it easy!!

Kaz - Yeah Chels can be a bit like that sometimes. Usually at particular times of the day. I have found that she is a bit clingy at the moment and is always crawling after me to be picked up. You mihg tbe right.... maybe teeth? I have found that all she wants these days is Mummy too. Doesnt want to go to anyone else. From memory,l Liam went thru a stage like this too. KWYM!! Toilet training sux! I guess they will get it when they r ready....

Trish - Thats ok your forgiven Thanks for the tips. I think I might try TT again in a few weeks.... Is Joel trained at night yet?

Nerida - Yeah true. Are you having a big birthday for L? We are just having a little family thingo. Would be good to catch up someitme!!

Tiff - I think I have given up on TT for the moment. Going to get myself more prepared (get a better potty etc). Think I might try again in a couple of weeks. YAY for butterflies, and T's cake sounds awesome!!

Kellie - Get better soon! Cool name!

HEYA to everyone else. Will prob pop back in tonight. Who is our next October birthday????

    I think it's Tay.

Kaz Maddi sleeps fine, but i credit that to all the walking she does, she never stops!
She is clingy during the day, but it's not too bad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPUNKY MONKEY!! No not pg yet but talking names made it more "real" for DP last time so by us picking names = commitment to trying for #2. Although we have been naughty this month and I'm not on the pill so I may be missing my needle and waiting till after bubs is born which doesn't worry me

Mo- Glad your little cookie is still cooking fingers crossed everything is 100% for you hun!

Trish- I promised DP I wouldn't tell, but... lol, picked Dana Lyn Smith for a girl and maybe Cameron or Sean for a boy still looking though, my heart is set on Riley lol but I picked Ryan's name so I'll need to compromise this time round!

Kaz- YES Ryan's been whinging and crying ALL day and following me EVERYWHERE climbing up me and cry cry cry, I'm assuming it's teeth and that he has a blackeye from bashing his head on the cot over and over again this morning... Arg I wish he'd stop hitting his head..

    Happy Birthday Myles!

It seems that the more I look at Caden, the more like a little boy he is becoming, and less like a bub. But then when feeding him at night he seems so tiny in my arms (not tiny teeth tho ).

Kaz - C certainly has days like that. I think sometimes he is just having one of those days, and other days I am sure it is teeth moving. He will be getting his molars next, but I think they are moving quite slowly and so far haven't caused nearly as much angst as the other 8. Fingers crossed for you that the teeth come through as painlessly as possible.

Becky - good luck with TT. I think boys are a bit trickier than girls? It is sometimes easier when they are bubs cos then you just monitor wee cues, but I guess they grow out of these as they get older and get more control. From what I have read it is best to simply wait until they are ready, then it is heaps easier. Hopefully it works next time.

Pish - it is sad, IKWYM. They are leaving their babyhood behind and becoming little people. I must admit though, I am enjoying C heaps more as an almost toddler. Like today he was using a bowl as a drum and was laughing his head off, then put it on his head and played peek-a-boo for a while. He is so clever and figures things out, it is amazing. I much prefer this interaction to the newborn crying/sleeping cycles. Although having said that, C was such an unsettled baby, that maybe the next one might be more of a pleasure

As for us, still party planning. Our theme is BLUE because it is a combo birthday. I have blue everything, and need to get Caden a sailor outfit for him to wear. I can't wait, it is a bit sad really how much I am looking forward to it - a sure sign I have no life!

Hope everyone else is going well,

Wow guys I have missed sooooo much!!! Happy birthday to all those that have turned one!!! I can't believe it has "snuck up" on us so far....or at least me anyway!
I have bought some invites for Caitlyn's party and now I just have to write them up and send them off - only 2 weeks to go - boohoo.
My family is coming out to see us for her birthday well everyone except my brother but thats a whole otehr forum! It will also be my dad's 60th 2 days before Caitlyn's first so its good to have the family together.
we were in townsville last week visiting fmaily and DH was doing his last stint at TAFE so YAY he is now a tradesman - now if only his boss would increase his pay to reflect the change in circumstance!
I am so sorry for such a HUGE lack of personals - working full time even from home is sooo full on! I am in front of the computer all day and at night all I wnat to do is get away from it - add to that the landlord STILL hasnt installed the AC that she promised 12 months ago in the room werhe i work and then trhow in 36-37 degree temps with not a hint of breeze - cme the end of teh day i am exhaussted.
News on the Caitlyn front - 2 more teeth! And she is crawling like she is trying to catch up on all those months she just sat there!! And she is pulling herself up and when we hold her hands she walks -sort of.
someone said something about bubs being clingy - describes C to a T at the moment! I can't even leave her at daycare without her SCREAMING when i leave. Am sure she is over it in a few minutes but its still a bit of a stress!
Anyway - I promise to try and keep up a bit better and start popping in again more regularly.

So it sounds like the kids being clingy is something that they are all going through ... I think its hard to deal with when you normally have a happy and independant baby. I said to my husband today do you think I am losing it ... and he said maybe! I told him that wasnt the response I was looking for. I really need to organise to get Mia into childcare for a couple of mornings a week, for a bit of a break. She just gets so bored at home and creates a nuisance of herself when that happens!

On the birthday cake front, this has been my day ... I went our first thing trying to organise Tay's cake ... argh! I had decided to get the slab sponge from safeway for $16 (35x18cms) because I can cut it into a one and decorate it, I dont think I could bake a decent enough sponge. Then I rang them this morning and he is like you will need to order it asap or you will miss out. So I was like argh, dont be rude and decided to go elsewhere. Rang a few bakaries and the only one that could do one was in Berwick. I went there and she showed me a book, by this stage I am stressed that I have so much to do before saturday and not enough time that I think I will buy the finished product. The lady in the bakery was pushy and everything I decided on she said her way would look better, trust me, I have been in this business for many years. $50 later, I walk out of the bakery feeling ripped off and crap that I paid a deposit for something I didnt want. I said to Bruno if you go to buy something and think you could do a better job, then that isnt a good thing. So I ring them back and ask can I have the sponge plain and I will decorate it myself. So $25 later that is what I am getting. Should have stuck with the safeway sponge, crabby baker or not!

Anyway ... a light at the end of the tunnel is I get to see my mum, dad, sister, brother in law and baby niece Megan this weekend. They are all coming over for Tay's party on saturday. As well as good friends coming for a bbq lunch on saturday, it should be a good weekend. Fingers crossed my cake decorating skills dont let me down!

    Hi Everyone,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL YOU LITTLE 1 YEAR OLDS!!!!!!!

Wow, like everyone else, I am amazed at how quickly these little monkies are growing up. It just feels like yesterday we were all madly writing each other for advice to get through the early weeks. Now we are all writing less often because we are all so busy.

Anyway, sorry it has been a few weeks. We have all been sick. Ethan had conjunctivitis and a cold, I had a chest infection and now hubby is sick too.

Ethan is clingy like all the other bubs and driving us crazy. Tonight though he has been pretty good. DH and I have been sitting on chairs in the backyard for the last half hour watching Ethan explore the garden. It was lovely.

We are planning a birthday party too. Just a family bbq so that should be not too much fuss.

Well sad news. My in laws are moving to New Zealand so there goes our on hand babysitters. We have Ethan's name on the waiting list for family day care for next year. If he doesn't get in by the end of the school holidays I will need to quit my job. That's ok. I want to have another baby next year anyway.

Counting down the days till we can start trying for bub #2. I can't belive how clucky I have gotten lately. I am back to noticing all the little babies and preg women when I am out shopping.

Anyway, I have bored you all enough. Have a great night all.

    hey everyone
It seems I have the biter this week, we have been trying to feed for about 1 hour now, and she keeps biting! I've just had a feel of her gums and I think there is a tooth coming, so we've just put on some bonjela - I think I'll let that soak in a bit and then try again - it really hurts though - ouch!

Mo - hope that placenta moves for you!

Amber - good luck tomorrow night!

Anyway, I can hear some sooking, better go and try this feed again so she can go to bed!

    night night
