We had the worst night last night ... the girls refused to go to bed, and when we finally got Tay to sleep Mia woke her up. So it took another hour to settle her. Mia refused to go to sleep and got out of bet at least 6 times (I stopped counting). I ended up giving her a dose of panadol and another bottle just to get her to bed. Then she was upset as she has bitten a hole in her dummy, and being 2 and a half, I dont think I want to get her another one. But am trying to be strong on that, because its so easy to give them a dummy for comfort. SO I dont know if her teeth are hurthing or what, but she gives that dummy a really good work out. So after no settling, and getting about again at about 1 I caved and let her come to bed with me. This was then followed by Tay about 1/2 hour later waking up. She come in as well and had a bottle, then decided it was playtime! So she was put back into her cot, and surprisingly went back to sleep. Mia has woken up today with a runny nose and is being whingy. I am praying that its not the flu back, as we have just had 4 weeks of it in our house! *sigh* That is my vent! Sorry to bore you all.
Dragonbub - my oldest (No 2 and a half) snores. I dont think its anything to worry about, but maybe just mention it to your gp to be on the safe side.
Celticmoon - Mia didnt walk until 18 months, but in saying that, she was late because she has low body tone. In my mother's group, they all did it at different stages. Starting at 10 months, to 18 months. I think they all do it at their own pace. If your little one is pulling himself up, he is getting there!
