OK, I know it's rude to just breeze in and say this but...

Trish - the biting comes and goes, usually with teething. It does pass. L has had about 3 stints of biting. So don't throw in the towel just yet if you aren't ready to wean. It passes quickly. DD did the same thing.

ABA advice is to firmly say 'no biting' and plonk them down on the floor ending the feed. Didn't work straight away with L but it did work.

He's a biter though, I'm sporting a bruise on my forearm where he just decided he'd have a mung...preschool's gonna be fun
